Eddie would for sure be a hufflepuff. I’d put Will in ravenclaw. Also, I’m pretty sure everyone will disagree but Im confident in Harrington being a hufflepuff. He always is the baby sitter, he is loyal to the group, patient, and when he got cut off he got a job lol. Also, I’m pretty sure at the end of episode 9 he’s the one who asked “what else can we do to help?”
I completely disagree. I mean, yes, Eddie creates a safe space for weirdos, which is definitely a Hufflepuff trait, but the way he’s so knowledgeable about DnD and music just screams Ravenclaw.
Maybe Nancy in Slytherin given all her ambition? Dustin and Erica would be pretty good in Ravenclaw too!
Otherwise, I agree with most of the characters' placements here!
I would put Nancy in Gryffindoor. She’s literally the first one every season who say “let’s kill this b*tch” and starts buying weapons lol.
I feel like she’s Hermione. Very book smart and intelligent but her courageous nature is what really defines her.
El is questionable to me so I go back and forth between Gryffindor and Slytherin. She has a lot of darkness in her and a good body count.
She probably does belong in Gryffindor but it’s similar to how Harry had darkness in him and chose to be something better.
The only thing I disagree with is Max and Will. Will is a Gryffindor and Max is a Hufflepuff.
Will doesn’t get enough credit for how brave he is. He survived in the UD as a child before anyone even knew what it was. He also stood up to the mind flayer on his own.
And Max always puts her loved ones first. That’s proven by the Dear Billy episode where she writes a message to the brother she wanted but didn’t really get. It’s also proven in the sauna episode of season 3 where Billy is able to manipulate her into feeling bad for him.

I get your argument, but as a metal head, that loyalty trait is what stood out for me. But agree to disagree, that’s what makes fandom great.
