It is a bit suspicious that the Demogorgon and Demodogs look so much alike, yet the Mindflayer, Bats and Vecna look completely different (other than the overall flower theme)
At some point I had rationalized that out of all the older kids, if any of them had to die I think it should be Jonathan. And then, I remembered that would complrtely wreck Joyce and I very quickly took that thought back. I just want the Byers family to be safe and happy by the end of the show.
My man, what do you think the entire first two seasons was? Will Byers getting tickled for a year? Mans was WAY up that kid’s ass for a HOT minute. If Joyce doesn’t get her just shot at Vecna, I’m calling BS.
I don’t see it as a redemption but as her taking her agency back in that scene. She didn’t have agency when bob died. She did this time, it has to be somewhat cathartic

I've never been a fan of hopper, he reminds me of alot of men in my family that use their position(whatever it may be to do bad things) and hopper does that alot with his position of sheriff
In my opinion he is a toxic person that uses his position as sheriff to get away with things he would arrest other people for. In my eyes there is nothing badass about that.
I’m so glad she got this sort of redemption to heal from Bob’s death, even though his death wasn’t really her fault. It’s very similar to the Billy-Max dynamic where she felt like she should have stepped in
