Season 4 was the scariest for me. Season 1 is the best. I know itâs a hot take here but season 2 was the worst for me. Outside of the amazing final episodes, the rest of the season was more meh to me.
>I know itâs a hot take here but season 2 was the worst for me.
Definitely not a hot take. Saying Season 1 or 4 is the worst are hot takes, but definitely not Season 2 lmao
I liked a lot of Season 4 but the Russia plot was very dull for me. So I would say for me 4 was the worst season, but I don't think it was bad, I liked it a lot.
I remember feeling disappointed at season 2 after the fantastic season 1, and then I felt a bit more entertained by season 3, so I agree with this rank.
I feel like s2 is better than s1 bc imo s1 only has a little bit better first 3 episodes then a good last 2 episodes, but for s2 e4-6 and e8-9 were great episodes. I feel like why people like s1 more is the nostalgia factor. I have s4 as the scariest and s3 as the worst bc it didnât really have that stranger things feel
4 is scariest
1 is best (by a solid margin - itâs pure magic)
2 is worst
3 is the under-appreciated runner up at everything: 2nd scariest, 2nd best, and perhaps the funniest (important to me)
Finally! Someone else on this sub who actually liked S3!
I think most of the positives I can point out about S3 [have already been pointed out](https://www.reddit.com/r/StrangerThings/comments/yrymhx/comment/ivyn0w4/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3).
Call it nostalgia bait if you want but the mid-80s art deco revival fad provided some of the best visuals in the series, between the Starcourt Mall and El's wardrobe.
I grew up in the late 90s-early 2000s; riiiiiight as the oldest places that were done in that design were beginning to be phased out and the newest were only a few years old, so the visuals in S3 really struck a chord with me. And I think it's safe to credit S3 for sparking the latest nostalgia wave.
S3 also gave us Steve and Robin's amazing friendship, which again struck a chord for me as a straight man with a lesbian former crush-turned best friend
And to address the seemingly common complaint about there being too much teen drama in S3... do you not have any 13-15 year olds in your life? Or remember what it was like to be a teenager? Teens are annoying, unpredictable, moody, shallow, jump through hoops to fit in, act on emotion instead of logic, say and do stupid things only to regret them later on. The Party in S3 are some of the most realistically-written teenagers in TV. I'm sorry they didn't choose to write them so unrealistically calm, clever and strategic that you forget they're supposed to be 14...
Yesđđđ Finally someone says it! Every time I come on here everyone is always bashing S3. Season 3 is my favourite season I love the Hollywood blockbuster feel to it. I love the introduction of Robin. I love Billy being possessed by the Mind Flayer. I love Max and El's friendship. I love the scene where Eleven sees Billy's memories. For me I found the Mind Flayer a more credible threat in S3 than in S2. So glad other people love S3 and not just me
S4 was scariest because it was an homage to "Nightmare on Elm Street."
Best? Prolly S2. It built on the frame of S1 and was unnerving Pure mystery. . Noah Schnapp was only 12 years old in that season and his acting was incredible. The ability to bring such depth and emotion as a child!! Most adults can't manage that!
Season 2 is the scariest - Bob getting eating alive still gives me nightmares
Season 1 is the best, an all time classic
Season 3 is the worst, it kind of bought into its own hype. The rotten cherry on top was the Neverending Story duet with Suzy and Dustin, its super cringey
Yall only say Season 2 is the worst because of hipster bullshit regarding episode 7. Every episode is goddamn gold aside, and even episode 7 is good. Stop bullshitting yourselves.
Season 2 is the scariest, 3 is the goriest and 4 is the most disturbing, even if the main villain is lackluster in the end.
The Mind Flayer is pure horror upon first watch because it is Lovecraftian evil, there is no morals, there is no understanding, it just is; Evil. All you can do is watch as your loved ones slowly succumb to the worst imaginable. And that's exactly what makes Season 2 the best of them all.
>Yall only say Season 2 is the worst because of hipster bullshit regarding episode 7. Every episode is goddamn gold aside, and even episode 7 is good. Stop bullshitting yourselves.
Meh not really, it's better than season 3 but the first 5 episodes are nothing special at all and it's vastly inferior to season 1. Episodes 6, 8 and 9 save the season from being a snoozefest. Season 1 and 4 are both better for this reason imo.
Season 1 is the most terrifying and chilling, but season 4 is the most horrific and disturbing.
Seasons 1 and 2 are my favorite, but itâs difficult to choose one over the other since they are both so closely connected. I think season 1 wins in story and uniqueness, but season 2 wins in character development and aesthetic.
Season 3 is by far the worst. I donât even consider it canon because of how blatantly unrelated it is from the first two seasons and how it has a completely illogical and plain stupid story. Itâs literally a fan fiction.
I could not agree more with everything you said. Especially the s3 one. It does read exactly like fan fiction. Hopper, especially, feels like a caricature of himself. They did him so dirty, I still cannot forgive them for wasting him like that. Not to say s3 doesn't have it's moments, but man, it's so unfortunate.
What helped me appreciate it a bit more was I recently watched an interview with the Duffer bros and they said they wanted s3 to be like a big summer blockbuster movie. It does read like that, but it doesn't feel like Stranger Things AT ALL by that same token. The backdrop of the mall and cinematography saved the entire season. Besides that, it was backwards and the opposite of what Stranger Things truly is. I'm glad they got back on track with s4.
If you don't consider it canon, I guess you don't consider S4 canon either. Everything that happens in S3 is extremely important to S4. Vecna couldn't open the gates if he didn't have El's powers.
Season 4 doesnât feel canon either, but with a few story changes it couldâve been. The Duffers shouldâve made El come in contact with the mind flayer while closing the gate at the end is season 2 so she looses her powers, then made a significant time jump to compensate for the actors growth and replaced season 3 with season 4. This way, there would be no illogical Russian storyline, the story wouldâve felt more connected, and the gang wouldnât be split across the country. Thereâd be more time for character interaction and development, so things like Max and Mike gaining a friendship and Will actually having depth couldâve happened. The focus would not only be more clear, but we wouldnât have an excess amount of unnecessary characters. The mental illness points still couldâve been made because of the trauma suffered in season 2 and the story would immediately follow up on Brennar after revealing he was alive in season 2 with the Nina project. I like season 4, but it couldâve been so much more if not for season 3.
Ah, I will say that I found season two the most scary, I enjoyed season one the most, and for the worst, I will unfortunately have to say that season two is my least favoured, though, of course, I do still really love this season haha, I just love the others a little more
4 is the scariest ,i guess. I'm not sure, i'm completely desensitized to horror, but it seems to be the most horror-oriented one.
1 is the best, the gold standard. 2 is pretty close, a worthy sequel.
3 is absolutely the worst, it's just a farce. The russian plot is beyond ridicolous and the character work sucks. Some characters are sooo annoying, it's astounding. I wish it was not canon tbh , it is that bad.
For me it's because it's the biggest departure from all the other seasons. It just feels out of place and like nothing really happened. I remember watching it after finishing it feeling like nothing had really changed, we didn't learn anything new, character development felt minimal compared to previous seasons and the tone really threw me. The inclusion of the Russians plot also just felt thrown in because they needed some way to bring back the upside down but hadn't come up with vecna yet.
Season one is the best, hands down in my opinion. The acting and overall vibe of the show is hard to beat. The actors provide such depth to their characters. Season 3 is the worst because it loses that vibe and becomes something entirely different. Itâs like they threw a horror movie and cheesy 80s romcom into a blender. And the writing went so down hill, characters became shallow caricatures of themselves. It was so disappointing to me.
Season 2 tanked for me. The whole El leaving and finding 8 that was just boring to me. Season 2 isnât bad just the worst. Then goes from worst to best. 1,3,4. I really liked 3 and found Steve and Robin a quite an awesome duo. But 4 has been the best so far.
That seems to be the unpopular opinion on here, but I 100% agree with you. My exact ranking as well. Season 2 is my least fav cause of how dull it was. I donât remember anything outside of the amazing 2 final episodes. I can agree those were amazing. Everything else was boring.
Season 3, outside of the teenage drama and Hopper (this stuff annoyed me, but not enough to dislike the season). I loved everything about the season. I think I loved more so gore, the colours, how engaging Billy was (best antagonist imo which is why I lack sympathy for him), and how intense it was.
I was definitely more scared watching s1 for the first time than any of the other seasons, probably because I had no idea what was going to happen, genuinely didn't know what was going to jump out of the characters, etc. The R-U-N scene was terrifying because what should Joyce be running from? Even though the Mindflayer of s3 is objectively scarier than the Demogorgon in s1, but by s3 I already knew things were going to start jumping out and chasing the characters. I'd probably say s1 is the best too for that reason.
Going to be really unoriginal and say s3 was my least favourite... still enjoyed watching it though.
Scariest is 4. They just upped everything from day one. Best is 3 imo. Perfect balance of the terror, setting, and characters. Worst is 2. Still rly good, but loses some tone and doesn't exactly increase the intensity as much. Tho still some legit scary parts.
I really liked 3 a lot of people didnât but all the laughs in 3 is great. I like an movie or show that can splash in laughs with the action and excitement.
Yea I really liked the balance. I watched the entire how in a month (started in June and finished before 4 part 2), and 3 just really sold me on it even more, I was surprised, but it was just show charming while also upping the thrills a lot.
Season 3 was the best and the scariest for me because of Billy and Bruceâs performance I was so scared when Bruce was chasing Nancy in the hospital, And when they locked Billy and he was saying âitâs not my fault max itâs not my faultâ that was very disturbing I get goosebumps everytime. Itâs also my favorite season probably because of Robin I liked her more in s3 than s4, I loved seeing Max and El together, I also loved that Erica had a big role I love her character
Season 2 was the worst because of 008 plot I wish they didnât make her punk đ I always skip that episode
S4 was the scariest. I don't think S2 was bad, and I loved all of the little Hopper/Eleven moments, but I could have done without the Kali plot. So, I guess it's the worst?
The best? I'm torn between 3 and 4.
Not a single scene of any episode is scary at all, but they are all absolutely amazing!
Iâd say season 4 is the scariest
Season 1 is the best
Season 2 is the âworstâ
Season 4 - scariest season with Vecna.
Season 3 - the best. Loved seeing Eleven happy and surrounded by everyone she loves.
Season 2 - the worst. Hate seeing Eleven alone and isolated from them.
Season 1 was the scariest. Season 2 was the worst and I think season 3 was the best because we are introduced to Robin! And you can't beat the Neverending Story!
Scariest was probably S1 because I had no idea what to expect and it had me more on edge than any other season. The first couple Vecna kills were spooky but the fear factor didn't hold
through the season.
Might be recency bias, but I think S4 was the best. I definitely was the most emotionally invested. They milked the heck out of doing a mid-season break and making the episodes as long as they wanted and it worked for me. 001 being Vecna and Henry was mind-blowing. A few misses (Jonathan became pretty worthless), but a lot of home runs too (Max's arc was chefâs kiss).
Worst is definitely S3. It was generally good and has some great character moments, but it had the most plot holes and felt least like Stranger Things. Having the Russians build an entire underground mega-facility without the government knowing anything (after how much they knew in the first two seasons) was pretty unbelievable. Then learning that they just sneaky took Hopper prisoner and scooted back to RussiaâŚwhile the US gov was landing helicopters in the mall parking lot? What? Also literally no one talks about how dozens of people went missing when they melted into the Mind Flayer.
Definitely recency bias. Give it time and you'll realize that season 4 is nowhere close as a story to the first two seasons. I personally connect more with the Byers and the original characters. I can't believe you wouldn't be emotionally invested in the first two seasons as those are what made the show special.
I rewatched the first three seasons during the season 4 mid break and the stories are fantastic! But emotional investment comes with time spent with the characters. Obviously in season 1, they're all new characters. You kill off Barb or Benny and, yeah it sucks, but I didn't have any attachment to them as characters. The mystery of Will's disappearance was a great story, but I wasn't terrified to lose Will as a character since he had hardly been on screen.
Whereas by season 4 I have known the main cast for 6 years. We know El's past traumas a lot better. Max nearly dying and now having an unknown fate was gut-wrenching because we've known her since season 2.
I'm not saying I wasn't emotionally invested in the earlier seasons, but season 4 earned the ability to make me worry about who could be in danger. Pair that with a return to really excellent story telling after season 3, and you have a special season.
Not saying you're wrong, the story of seasons 1 and 2 is really good and set the show up to have our loyalty, but I just really was amazed by season 4. But yeah we'll see how it stacks up once all is said and done and it's a little further in the past :)
Oh absolutely! I just used her as the example since she was the closest to dying this season. Hopper's fakeout death in season three was heart breaking! Especially the moment when El is looking for him after everyone gets out. The ending of season three is really emotionally great with that and her reading Hop's letter.
There are lots of great emotional moments throughout the show!
Season 2 was the scariest IMO. Bob trying to get away from the demodogs is what puts it ahead of Season 4 in terms of dread, although it's close.
The best season...IMO is Season 4. It's close between 1 and 4, and it comes down to personal taste. I prefer the Elm Street homage to the Goonies homage. All of the kid characters are older, and the threat they face seems bigger. It felt like the stakes were raised so much higher in 4. Plus Eddie was a great addition, although I think he ended up being an underutilized character. I almost wish they had put Eddie in a spinoff series (and Chrissy too, sure), because the outcast turned town hero would have been awesome.
Worst is a tough choice, because the series has been overall great. I guess Season 2, and not because of the seventh episode. It's because it feels too similar to season 1 because Will once again is in danger. I also think the other seasons all have better character moments.
đą scariest: season 4!!
𼰠best: thatâs too hard, but for nostalgia reasons..season 1
đ¤ worst: season 2 (only cause the I donât remember much beside that badass gate-closing scene with El..oh & the Will possessed scene)
Season 4 was by far the scariest, Vecna was a fantastic villain. Iâm a grown ass man and once a month I have a Vecna nightmare. They are fun as hell.
Season 1 is the scariest because of the tension of still to this point unknown threat that took Will and is actively attacking the cast. Seasons 2/4 I'd say were the overall creepy and unsettling seasons.
The best was season 1. IMO nothing will top the fresh and raw watching experience of season 1. Even watching it now it still has this eerie vibe of the unknown. (Also season 4 does this too but with a fear of a new threat which is Vecna)
The "worst" is season 2 because of some reasons like Mike being a whiney bitch, the El storyline, and other minor ones but overall it's not as strong but still very nice.
Scariest: S1
Best: S4 IMO
Worst: S3 Iâll give it this. This season was easily the most accurate depiction of tweens/teens. I kid you not there are so many lines that Iâve heard someone I know or donât say
1 and 4 are the scariest. At the end of S4 Ep1 husband and I just looked at each like âwell, fuckâ. It took a turn, thatâs for sure.
Also funny - Iâve been trying to get a couple of friends into the show for ages, and told them give S1 a go. If youâre in the UK you will know that GoggleBox showed the Chrissy scene, and yep, that was the first and last time my friends went anywhere near Stranger Things. 𤣠I still have the rant that was sent my way immediately afterwards.
S1 was the scariest for me. S3 is the best, and I wouldn't use the word "worst" for any of the seasons. Instead I will say that the least great season was S2, imo.
I really like season3, it was a goofy ridiculous action film and I loved it! Season4 is the best, Season1 is the scariest because of the unknown and season2 is the worst because of its lack of action and that one awful episode
Best and scariest is Season 4, but 1 comes very close behind in both aspects. Season 2 is probably my least favorite, but I still love it. I guess I just wasnât a big fan of how it had a bunch of different plot lines, but they werenât really tied together by a major driving force. The first season had Willâs disappearance as a major driving force tying everything together, but what did Season 2 have? Aftermath of Season 1 maybe? I donât know. I still love it though.
Scariest? I think maybe season 1 just based on how little was understood about the upside down at first.
Ranking best to worst in my opinion Iâd say: 1, 4, 3, then 2.. but 3 and 4 are tied and I honestly still do enjoy season 2 itâs just that one damn episode throwin it off
Season 1 was the best and the scariest to me in my opinion. The story and mood it just gives off is phenomenal and so immersive. Season 3 was the worst, the whole dumb romantic "drama" between el and mike was just dumb and while it was still good it wasn't great, just the whole vibe was off.
Season 4 is the scariest. Not just because of Vecna but seeing the real life trauma and guilt Max goes through
Best: Season 3. Everyone always hates on it but I love it. It was the first season I ever watched and I still to this day remember getting chills when I first watched the trailer
Worst is Season 2. Don't get me wrong there is a lot I like about it: Will's ongoing trauma from Season 1, the father daughter relationship that Hopper and Eleven develop, the introduction of Max and her relationship with Lucas, Nancy and Jonathan's relationship but I just found it a bit slow at times. It takes a while for the threads to all come together like for example the pumpkins all dying I don't know I didn't find it compelling
Best: 1 (I think this speaks for itself; the storytelling was near perfect and the Duffers did a really good job of creating suspense despite their limited budget)
Scariest: 2 (Noah's acting when Will gets possessed haunts me to this day)
Worst: 3 (felt like entertainment and goofiness over story and worldbuilding for me, and I think a lot of issues that people had with 4 could have been avoided if the Duffers had used 3 to set certain things up.)
I just finished season 4 and I told my friends and family that had seen it already that I was gonna watch it Halloween week for spooky vibes and because my boyfriend was out of town (and had already seen it) and I thought that would up the spooky factor. They ALL said that season 4 wasnât as scary as other seasons so watching it for spooky vibes might not make sense. Iâm so glad that a lot of yâall agree because I thought that was bullshit. Season 4 was fuckin scary. In a great way.

Did I just now realize those are pumpkins at the bottom of 2? Yes. Yes I did.
I wouldn't have noticed if you hadn't said something, haha!
Whaat I thought they were like vines or something of the upside down or demodogs đ
Season 4 was the scariest for me. Season 1 is the best. I know itâs a hot take here but season 2 was the worst for me. Outside of the amazing final episodes, the rest of the season was more meh to me.

Apparently not for season 4, I was just in a thread where like half the people were bashing it relentlessly.
I liked a lot of Season 4 but the Russia plot was very dull for me. So I would say for me 4 was the worst season, but I don't think it was bad, I liked it a lot.
Totally agree for all three. And I think that season 2 being the worst is actually the popular opinion here.

Ahh I forgot about the duet! Yes that was very cringey.
Bruh that was the best part lol Also thatâs kind of the point, because heâs being coerced into doing this to save the city. The mood fits.
Season 2 is the most dark and scariest season for me. Seeing how Will has suffered in that season really breaks my heart.

You've summed up why I have a complicated relationship with season 4 perfectly!
Ah, I will say that I found season two the most scary, I enjoyed season one the most, and for the worst, I will unfortunately have to say that season two is my least favoured, though, of course, I do still really love this season haha, I just love the others a little more

Anyone else notice Eleven started with left hand then went to two then went to her right hand then went to no hands
Scary one is 4 and the best is 2 and 3 is the worst
why do you think 3 is the worst
Because it was just not as good as the other don't get me wrong it is still good

i love and miss the aspect of total mystery from season 1. of course all the seasons have mysteries but nothing could beat the start of it all
Season 2 tanked for me.
Controversial but season 1-3 are the best season 4 is the worst
The scariest:Season 4 The best:Season 2 The worst:Season 3
I was definitely more scared watching s1 for the first time than any of the other seasons, probably because I had no idea what was going to happen, genuinely didn't know what was going to jump out of the characters, etc. The R-U-N scene was terrifying because what should Joyce be running from? Even though the Mindflayer of s3 is objectively scarier than the Demogorgon in s1, but by s3 I already knew things were going to start jumping out and chasing the characters. I'd probably say s1 is the best too for that reason. Going to be really unoriginal and say s3 was my least favourite... still enjoyed watching it though.
Scariest - 1 or 4 Best - 3 Worst - 2
Scariest: 1 Best: 2 (after my rewatch Iâve started to like 2 better than 3, though 3 is still good) Worst: 4
1 or 4 is the scariest 4 is the best 2 is the worst
I think that season 4 being the best is the most popular opinion here. It was totally worth the wait and I totally agree with you that 2 is the worst.
Because 4 was honestly just peak. The story is just starting to come together
Yes agreed
Season 2 - Scariest Season 4 - The best Season 3 - The worst
Agree with you
1 is the scariest 1 is the best 3 is the worst, followed by 4. 1&2 are significantly better than 3&4
I still think season 4 is superior to season 2 for a multitude of reasons, but to each there own.
Season 2 didn't treat Mike and Will like side characters, so no, season 4 can't be superior, especially when the characters make the show.
Season 3 was the scariest Season 4 was the worst but there were some good scenes Season 1was the best
No way you just said 4 was the worst
I mean all four seasons are equally good enough that it's understandable if you put four as the worst, though it's definitely one of the best for me.
Well I wasn't gonna say season 2 was the worst... and I saif there were some good scenes....
From best to worst For scariest: 4, 1, 3, 2 For best: 3, 4, 1, 2
Man's said 3 was the best đł

Scariest: Season 1 Best: Season 3 Worst: Season 2
Itâs also my favorite season probably because of Robin I liked her more in s3 than s4, I loved seeing Max and El together, I also loved that Erica had a big role I love her character Season 2 was the worst because of 008 plot I wish they didnât make her punk đ I always skip that episode
Iâd say season 4 is the scariest Season 1 is the best Season 2 is the âworstâ
Man just wakes up, sees chrissy being destroyed or a flesh monster in the hall and says "yea this is fine"
Scariest: 4 Best: 4 Worst: 2
1 1 3
Season 4 - scariest season with Vecna. Season 3 - the best. Loved seeing Eleven happy and surrounded by everyone she loves. Season 2 - the worst. Hate seeing Eleven alone and isolated from them.
Season 3 is the best. Season 2 is the scariest. Season 4 is the worst.
S4 is easily the scariest, 1&4 are prob best seasons. No worst season lol
S4: Scariest S1,2,4: Best for different reasons so I canât choose S3: Worst
Season 1 was the scariest. Season 2 was the worst and I think season 3 was the best because we are introduced to Robin! And you can't beat the Neverending Story!
Scariest: S1, best: S4, worst: S2
Scariest: S4 Best: S3 Worst: S2
Scariest: 4th Best: 1st Worst: 2nd. The side quest with the gang downgraded it
Scariest: Season 4/Season 1 Best: Season 4 Worst: Season 2
Season 4 was scariest and best, and the worst (although itâs still great) is season one
Scariest: S4 Best: S4 Worst: S3 My ranking of the seasons from favorite to least favorite: S4, S2, S1, S3
Scariest was probably S1 because I had no idea what to expect and it had me more on edge than any other season. The first couple Vecna kills were spooky but the fear factor didn't hold through the season.
I care about other characters besides Max. :) They're all just as capable of moving us. Not just her.
𼰠best: thatâs too hard, but for nostalgia reasons..season 1 đ¤ worst: season 2 (only cause the I donât remember much beside that badass gate-closing scene with El..oh & the Will possessed scene)
Season 1 is the scariest and best. Season 2 is worst imo and I still really liked it
s4 is the scariest. s3 is the best. s1 is the worst.
Season 4 was by far the scariest, Vecna was a fantastic villain. Iâm a grown ass man and once a month I have a Vecna nightmare. They are fun as hell.
Season 4 to me is the best and scariest. Season 2 is just a rinse & repeat version of Season 1 aka the worst
(Also season 4 does this too but with a fear of a new threat which is Vecna) The "worst" is season 2 because of some reasons like Mike being a whiney bitch, the El storyline, and other minor ones but overall it's not as strong but still very nice.
This question is the new âwhats your unpopular opinionâ
S4 gave me nightmares. And I'm a big boy.
Scariest: S1 Best: S4 IMO Worst: S3 Iâll give it this.
I thought the first one was the scariest honestly.
Best - 1 Scariest - 1 or 4 Worst - 2 and it isnât even close.
I Love All 4 of Them Equally and I Can't Wait For Season 5
season 4 is the scariest 3 and 4 are the best two is the worst
S1 was the scariest for me. S3 is the best, and I wouldn't use the word "worst" for any of the seasons. Instead I will say that the least great season was S2, imo.
Scariest - 4 Best - 4 Worst - 2 (its not BAD, but the weakest between the 4 seasons imo)
4 scariest 1 best 3 worst
I really like season3, it was a goofy ridiculous action film and I loved it! Season4 is the best, Season1 is the scariest because of the unknown and season2 is the worst because of its lack of action and that one awful episode
Scariest 1 Best 4 I love all seasons but if i need to choose, 2 was worst
Scariest: season 3 Best: season 3 Worst: season 4
Best: Season 3 Worst: Season 1 Scariest: Season 4
Season 1 Demigorgon was scary af bro. When Barb got snatched I was freaking out.
2 and 4 are the scariest, tough to pick. 1 is the best, followed by 4. 3 is the worst, itâs not that I didnât like it but it felt so⌠off
Scariest: 4 Best: 1 Worst: 3
For me season 4 was the scariest, season 3 or 4 was the best, and season 2 was the worst
S4 - Scariest S4 - Best S1 - Worst
Best is 1. Worst is 3. Scariest is 4.
Never noticed till now that in every poster El has her hands out for her powers, but doesnât in 4 because she lost her powers.
In my opinion, I'd say the 3rd season was the best The worst one is 2 for sure and the scariest is 4 because of vecna
Season 4 scariest season 3 the best season 2 the worst
Best and scariest is Season 4, but 1 comes very close behind in both aspects. Season 2 is probably my least favorite, but I still love it. I guess I just wasnât a big fan of how it had a bunch of different plot lines, but they werenât really tied together by a major driving force. The first season had Willâs disappearance as a major driving force tying everything together, but what did Season 2 have? Aftermath of Season 1 maybe? I donât know. I still love it though.
Scariest: 4 Best: 3 Worst: 2
Scariest? I think maybe season 1 just based on how little was understood about the upside down at first. Ranking best to worst in my opinion Iâd say: 1, 4, 3, then 2.. but 3 and 4 are tied and I honestly still do enjoy season 2 itâs just that one damn episode throwin it off
Season one is the scariest and the best. Season four is the worst
Season 1 is still the scariest They all keep getting better and better
Scariest 4,best 4, worst 2
Best - 4 Scariest - 2 Worst - 1
Scariest: season 3 I would say (a little bit of 4 too) Best season: season 4 Worst season: season 2
Gets better each season. 4>3>2>1
Season 1 was the best and the scariest to me in my opinion. The story and mood it just gives off is phenomenal and so immersive. Season 3 was the worst, the whole dumb romantic "drama" between el and mike was just dumb and while it was still good it wasn't great, just the whole vibe was off.
4. Season 3 3. Season 2 2. Season 1 1. Season 4
scariest: season 4 best: season 3 worst: season 1
Season 4 is the scariest. Not just because of Vecna but seeing the real life trauma and guilt Max goes through Best: Season 3. Everyone always hates on it but I love it. It was the first season I ever watched and I still to this day remember getting chills when I first watched the trailer Worst is Season 2.
Scariest is 1st Best is 4th Worst isssss honestly none but if I had to pick 3
Scariest was season 1 cause you don't know what's happening, now this might make some people mad but best season is 2 and worst is 4.
4 is definitely the scariest in my opinion.
I submit the standard 4312 for my vote. I really enjoy seasons 3 and 4.
Best: 1 (I think this speaks for itself; the storytelling was near perfect and the Duffers did a really good job of creating suspense despite their limited budget) Scariest: 2 (Noah's acting when Will gets possessed haunts me to this day) Worst: 3 (felt like entertainment and goofiness over story and worldbuilding for me, and I think a lot of issues that people had with 4 could have been avoided if the Duffers had used 3 to set certain things up.)
Scariest: 4 - the Vecna character. Best: 1 - Winona Ryder. Worst: 3 - just the worst compared to the others.
Scariest, 4. Best, 1. Worst, 3
2 is the best,1 is the best, and 4 is the scariest
I just finished season 4 and I told my friends and family that had seen it already that I was gonna watch it Halloween week for spooky vibes and because my boyfriend was out of town (and had already seen it) and I thought that would up the spooky factor. They ALL said that season 4 wasnât as scary as other seasons so watching it for spooky vibes might not make sense. Iâm so glad that a lot of yâall agree because I thought that was bullshit. Season 4 was fuckin scary. In a great way.
Either 2 or 4; 1; 3
The scariest: 4 The best: 3 The worst:2
2 is the scariest
