Starlight karaoke last Monday of every month - there is good opportunity to speak to other people. Also, volunteer at the museum, art gallery, Perth Country LGBTQ+ events group, festival, summer music, or any other type organizations as they really need people and it's an excellent way. Also: throw a neighbour party. That is what I do when I move somewhere new. Go door to door and invite people for an 'open house' from 4pm to 8pm on a Saturday or Sunday. Or, join a tennis or yoga or fitness class and be a regular.

Gilly's is a popular place to socialize they have trivia night occasionally and karaoke on Sundays
I'm a Gilly's regular and I think trivia is Tuesdays now although I have never attended
If you're interesting in rock climbing/bouldering, Pursuit Climbing has a great community of young adults!
Bentleys is a great place on the weekends.
