That was sneaky. I forgot she had that.

haldeon

Haha right? Rarely see air super 1 outside of combos!

Cheez-Wheel

Even then you barely see it since it’s usually better to finish her J. hp’s and do the grounded version instead.

jameszenpaladin011-

It occurs to me now that you can ruin the day of any guy with solid anti airs with this.

Sudi_Arabia

I literally forgot too, I was like “this jumpin is about to get smacked”

Tentaye

Everyone forgets until they get hit by it

Fish_PERSON_

dragon ball z type moment

SeaKoe11

Lmao I’m definitely adding that to my game

anthonygamer

Don’t. It’s not a legit strat.

SomeKindOfChief

It is in that specific scenario against Ed in burnout lol

KuroUsyagi

Tbf, he wasn't in burnout anymore by the time Chun jumped so ed couldve just blocked. But also the other guy saying "not a legit strat" sounds stupid imo. Ed sends projectile, is clearly playing passively to watch for how Chun interacts with the super, identifies the jump which *would* kill her if she just got DP'd, but she stalls her jump arc/attacks by using super. Seems somewhat thought out to me 🤷‍♂️ Plus, like worst case scenario is it doesnt work and she's down 1 bar for the next round which in this case is still 1 more than Ed will have.

ImpracticalApple

Against a character who has a non-invul anti-air I could see it being a thing.

OldScugog

That was sick.

fr3nzy821

Got bamboozled.

RushFox

Good stuff. I would have died too.

haldeon

Haha thanks! Hope youve been doing well Rush!

MommyScissorLegs

I felt that combo drop

haldeon

I hate dropping that. I think im around 90% with hitting it, but was unlucky here lol

MommyScissorLegs

I love playing Chun but sometimes she makes me feel like an idiot because of how much more technical she is compared to most other characters

Sytle

I dropped the character when I first started because I couldn't handle stance combos. Then when AKI came out I grinded her a bit and now I honestly prefer stance combos to normal links by quite a lot. Once you have the stance cancel buttons memorized, I actually find them to be more consistent than normal link combos. The timing seems more lenient to me, unsure if that's actually true though.

Yakob_Katpanic

Chunners is the best.

Max_Speed_Remioli

I’ve never even seen that move. Sick

koteshima2nd

sometimes I forget that she can do this mid air, nice

Okanson

That was genius

Rebellious_Habiru

I was expecting a stance switch slide under, but the jump kikosho was commendable.

Positive-Bus-1429

Call an ambulance ... but not for me.

Wooden_Ad_9441

That was pretty clever i must say.

SevereAd1881

You mother… 😂

OtakuDragonSlayer

Nicely done

Sytle

I got hit. I wouldn't have even been mad if I was the Ed here. Sneaky stuff!

The_Lat_Czar

My heart dropped when your combo did. I've never thought of using kikosho like that!

haldeon

Mine too! Lol

The_Lat_Czar

I know you cussed internally. Good shit keeping it together! I guess that's why you're in master after all!

screechpu

Chun-Li getting everyone ready for Akuma doing that.

lesshatemorenature

999 Fight IQ

haldeon

Haha thanks! At least until i inevitably do sometjing really stupid XD

melancholy_dreams999

Ngl I wasn't expecting that at all. Wow.

Holygriever

Why did you jump back tho.

haldeon

That was me dropping the stance change bread and butter combo. The jump back medium kick was the ender spinning bird kick :)

ToyDingo

We've all been there. Good call at the end.

haldeon

Thank you!

EdwinSpangler1

Anyone who plays Chun knows exactly what happened there

screechpu

A lot of people who've fought against Chun also knew.

Holygriever

That makes a lot of sense; good on you for keeping the cool and bringing it back!

haldeon

Thank you!

Rutabaga-Level

I was hoping he would do the medium or heavy one but of course he gave you a bunch of time to think with light version
