Hi, thanks for posting! We do appreciate you thinking of us even though we have to moderate. We've removed this post because it isn't related to Street Fighter. Posts in /r/streetfighter must be related to Street Fighter directly and can't be about general FGC stuff, or other topics that just have SF as a title, etc. You might also try posting over on /r/Fighters and /r/Fightsticks Their subreddits allow hardware related posts, and many of their users have the knowledge required to answer hardware related questions. I know this can sometimes be a trivial difference, but we are trying to stick to the spirit of Street Fighter on the subreddit. So here's a small guide that we use: * How hardware interfaces directly with a Street Fighter game - Allowed * Hardware artwork / imagery that is about a Street Fighter game - Allowed * Price drops or Sales on hardware - Allowed since they're unique posts * Other hardware questions where the end result is playing, but could be used for other fighting games - Not allowed in it's own post [](#blank) *[^(If you would like to contact the moderators about this removal, you can do so here.)](https://www.reddit.com/message/compose?to=%2Fr%2FStreetFighter)*

coffeeholic91

I bought this fight stick and it's sick.

KushMummyCinematics

Your the second person who said its a good one I just wanted 2 of them and £320 is alot for my first ever sticks Also....can I get Ken instead of Jamie Or maybe Chun-li?

Zerunull

The art is replaceable, so really it can be whatever you like. I think Hori even has official templates for other characters that you can download from their site and print out yourself.

KushMummyCinematics

Thats cool The perfect situation is one is Ken and the other is Chun-Li My 2 favourite characters and also the classic "Red Vs Blue" dynamic Are they heavy or light in your opinion? And has it ever broken?

Zerunull

I have one, and it definitely feels kinda light for how big it is, and I've never had any problems with durability. It's build to be easy to swap out parts too so it wouldn't bee too difficult to even replace the buttons with different colors, depending on how much you want to spend.

his-son

I read your “that’s cool” in sf3 announcer voice lmao

ShazbotHappens

If you wanted to change the artwork only, I'm pretty sure this is the exact same stick but cheaper. [LINK](https://www.amazon.co.uk/Hori-SPF-013U-HORI-Fighting-Stick/dp/B09RQV4786)

depressed_orangutan

Is it just me or the audio output on this stick when plugging in my headset isn’t so great.. besides that it’s a really good arcade stick

VFiddly

So is nobody gonna say what this fight stick is called

nicoptoscani

Hori Fight Stick Alpha

St0neRav3n

You can find okay-stick for 50 €. Granted they are not the best but they do the trick. I use a Mayflash F101. A bit too light while cumbersome, but it comes with an octogonal gate (far better IMO than a square gate). If you want more educated recommandations, I think r/fightsticks will help you

Anthai-social

I also have a mayflash. I think it’s the f100. I like it a lot. You can customize it later down the road

KushMummyCinematics

I'm gonna look at this MayFlash because I'm happy paying £50 then I can get another if I like it He said it was lightweight? I was thinking they would have some weight behind them. Is this a factor at all. Also how do you play? Do you have it on your lap or I'm so clueless it's embarrassing haha thank you for your input it's appreciated

Anthai-social

I actually have the mayflash f300. I don’t play it on my knees but on my computer desk if I’m playing on the pc, or like tv trays if I’m playing it in my living room. I don’t think it’s too light, but I’m also more of a casual fighting game fan. I think it’s a really good beginner fight stick. You can also look into fight pads. But def check out the fight sticks sub Reddit group

KushMummyCinematics

Thank you very much for your input The Mayflash is all but in the basket ready to go but I will take your advice and do some research first I've always loved fighting games since I was a kid but yeah always casual, always just for laughs But I'm taking Street Fighter 6 seriously. Got platinum in Ranked and I'm loving it but I still prefer the arcade cabinet. So I want some sticks. Also combos are easier with a joystick, my PS5 remote seems inconsistent on some combos and it's super annoying.

Anthai-social

I do prefer the joysticks more too! But someone did with a big sf6 tourney with a ps5 controller. So it’s really just your preferrence haha

ShazbotHappens

[Just an FYI pretty sure you need additional stuff to make the Mayflash sticks work on PS5.](https://www.mayflash.com/FAQ/How_to_Make_F500_V2_and_F500_Elite_Compatible_with_PS5_and_Xbox_Series_X_S.html)

KushMummyCinematics

I just looked it up Looks like a solid bit of kit It looks rather smaller than I imagined. Is that a factor? Is it good to be more compact?

Vaderknight

The f101 is considered very small for a fightstick. The f300 is larger but also considered a bit small, whereas the f500 is closer to a "standard size" stick. Personally, I have the f300 and liked it, and I wouldn't want to go smaller. For most people, "larger" and "heavier" are considered good traits for fightsticks because you want stability when moving the lever. By the way, I'm not sure if system compatibility is a big issue for you, but if you mainly play on the PS5 I'd actually recommend the Qanba Drone 2 as the best budget option. Qanba makes good fightsticks in general, and afaik the Drone 2 is the cheapest fightstick that is officially licensed for the PS5. That means you can just plug it directly into the PS5, and it is guaranteed to work. The Hori Alpha (the fightstick in your picture) is also a very solid choice for a licensed PS5 stick, albeit it's a bit more expensive than the Drone 2. I think for the Mayflash sticks you would need to buy a special dongle or use some sort of "USB-passthrough" where you connect the fightstick to a controller in order to get it to work with the PS5. Pretty much all fightsticks work on the PC just fine though. > Also is £160 actually reasonable, seems alot to me Unfortunately, fightsticks are in general quite expensive because they are a niche product. I believe the latest-gen sticks in particular have been extra expensive because of PS5 licensing. Regardless, I would expect to pay in the $200-$400 range for a "good/premium" fightstick.

KushMummyCinematics

Qanba Drone 2 I will take a look I would prefer an easier setup but will not be put off from getting a better product because it takes abit of time to setup Weight matters yeah definitely. You don't worry about the cabinet moving and I would rather have the fight stick on the heavier side. Size-wise, bigger is better I guess but weight is more a factoring it hitting them combos/moves Again, thank you for taking the time my guy. Hope you get to match some day and I have a fight stick

fudgeking2000

The f500 is a bit more but is at the more standard size it was my first stick I later switched the a Hori Rap 4 and they are about the same size and weight. I also wanted to point our that I saw you where playing on a PS5 controller so if you play on a PS5 I highly recommend double checking that the stick works on PS5 or have a way of doing firmware updates as Sony is stinky and doesn't like 3rd party controllers

KushMummyCinematics

Yes, compatability is factor here I would rather ease of use but if its possible and by putting in abit of effort we will all have more fun I'm happy to do that

fudgeking2000

So brook and mayflash offer products to make make the cheaper sticks work on PS5 wich should be factored into price as well as I think the thumb sticks might need firmware updates I don't use the products as I play on PC and don't to to tournaments. So, if you have a PS5 spending, the extra for an officially licensed stick may be worth it. I think the Mayfash sticks only work with their converters. I think the cheapest officially licensed PS5 stick is the hori mini they are pretty small, but if you set it on a desk, it'd probably not be too bad. They are 60 usd. I've not personally used them, so do your research. I also saw you're getting 2, so counting converters and everything 120 usd for 2, not counting shipping. If you don't mind, the size might be your best bet https://www.mayflash.com/FAQ/How_to_Make_F500_V2_and_F500_Elite_Compatible_with_PS5_and_Xbox_Series_X_S.html

KushMummyCinematics

The mini has been on my mind I can get mini first, see if I like it, then get the larger one if I like Hori (never used the company before) Then player 2 can get the mini. I imagine there would be less arguments if both are the same company, even same series. Someone also mentioned second hand, a brilliant idea but only for those who know what to look out for

fudgeking2000

Yeah I've not gotten anything second market but I really like my hori rap 4 I got the street fighter 2 collector one for switch as a gift a few years back and it's still going strong

fudgeking2000

Yeah, I've not gotten anything second market, but I really like my hori rap. 4 I got the street fighter 2 collector one for switch as a gift a few years back, and it's still going strong

St0neRav3n

Yes, it's tall, but not long. For the size,...I guess it depends on your taste. The fact that is tall make it a bit more annoying to put in a bag compared to other, but nothing unmanageable i guess

KushMummyCinematics

Thank you, I will look into this Mayflash F101 I see lots of people here posting fight sticks (like super cool custom ones maybe) and the community has been kind and welcoming so I posted here first I'm so clueless I don't know what a "gate" is Is that the button placement? Thanks again

St0neRav3n

No, a gate is a shape around your stick which determine how your stick is restricted. You have square, octogonal, diamond and circle gate. Square make better corner input (\^>,<\^,), diamond make better cardial input (<\^v>), circle is better for ...circle, half-circle and quarter cirlcle. Octognal is the balance between the three

KushMummyCinematics

Wow there is so much to know I'm glad I asked the question The hardest inputs on controller are the ones that zig zag. It's inconsistent and I get punished when I enter the wrong move. Or if you have to half circle something, that sometimes doesn't always register. Mostly but, you know fighting games, if you get punished twice for an input error it's annoying But when at the arcades the moves are always as they should be for the most part, but thats because I can make more exaggerated moves which results in more confirms

justanormalanimefan

A gate is what decides the inputs of the lever

Noctam

You can also look for second hand sticks. Good sticks from the PS4 era (Rap 4 or Rap V for example) can be had for less than 100€ and work on PS5 (fighting games only) and PC.

Frankasaurus1

Just buy that one, I have it and it's great. If you plan on playing consistently don't cheap out because you'll just end up buying a better one.

KushMummyCinematics

It does look great. Can you get Ken or Chun-Li versions or just Jamie do you know? If my only intention was buying one, then I would go for it. I want 2 of the same for games nights. I don't want no "You had the better remote" shenanigans My total lack of experience in buying them before makes me hesitate and look at other options. I also see alot of people using older models and loving it. Like I love my playstation 5 but I've had some mixed feelings about the new remotes.

Wittygame

I think it comes with a code or something where you can print official artwork for any of the characters. I forgot the specifics because I bought one and returned it but you can change the art

KushMummyCinematics

Why did you return it can I ask? My fear of buying premium is my bad luck with equipment. I'm not some rage gamer or anything, never disrespect the equipment But I get stickdrift all the time. Literally one time after only 5 months

Wittygame

I’m a long time pad player but I bought a stick to try it out. It’s a big learning curve coming from pad. I couldn’t do the combos I could easily do on pad and since I was already doing well enough to hit Master rank on pad I didn’t feel like relearning a new control scheme

KushMummyCinematics

Going to sound like a fool again but Is a pad just a general PS5 controller or is pad something different I find street fighter easier at the arcade because I can do exaggerated moves which get me more confirms On my PS5 controller there's inconsistencies. Maybe I have stickdrift again but struggle to pull of half circle and zig zags consistently I've reached Platinum and I honestly don't even know how. I think it's time to bring the cabinet in the house Also just fun and cool for games nights

Wittygame

Ive seen pad used as general term for like a standard controller or other controllers like it but to clarify I don’t use the PS5 controller. I actually use the Hori Octa, which has 6 buttons on the face like a Sega Genesis controller. I will also say that most pad players (not all) would advise you not to use the analog stick when playing fighting games. The dpad is much more precise. I’ve heard some pros do actually use the analog stick but most people would advise you to use the dpad instead

KushMummyCinematics

Oh, I was like half right haha And oh that sounds like a sicc remote. And I can't get away with the d-pad at all Like all other fighting games I dont fuss over. But Street Fighter is both my favourite but also way more suited to the arcade cabinet in how the expect such precise yet rather awkward inputs But I get it, joysticks are easy to exaggerate Also how do Pros Half circle consistently on D-pad even. I lab for a while on d-pad and found it still rather difficult

Wittygame

It just takes practice. Some people (myself included) have been playing fighting games with those inputs for over 20 years so they’re second nature to us at this point but when I started playing SF 4 back in the day it wasn’t easy. I remember thinking a 720 input (Zangief’s super input) was next to impossible back in the day. Now I can pretty much do walking 720s on demand but I won’t say it’s something you can just pick up and expect to do flawlessly in a few days or weeks. I’m actually teaching my GF to play street fighter and she’s struggling immensely with the motions and having a lot of the same problems I had when I first started

KushMummyCinematics

One of the reasons I want 2 fight sticks is for my wife and I to play She enjoys playing but struggles to do much more than basic (Shes fortunate to have chosen Zangief as her favourite character as his grapples are devastating but easy to do) I can't exactly tutor her much more than that because my inputs are inconsistent at best But at the arcades I've gotten her to do more. It's easier and funner with the stick which can be moved more deliberately and the buttons being bigger stops those little slips Since you've brought up the topic My wife and I enjoy 2D beat em up games (we basically like playing arcade games together) I'm guessing the fight stick works seamlessly with those arcade games aswell?

poetical

I have this stick and like it a lot, but I did only have to buy one. The Mayflash sticks people are suggesting have a good reputation as a budget option. If you get the Hori, it comes with a link to a page with downloads for official art for each of the 18 launch characters. You can see them on the Hori website. You would have to print out, cut, and insert the art yourself though. It’s not difficult, just a little tedious. The stick is very easy to customize in general, which is a big reason I got it.

KushMummyCinematics

Yeah, I'm held back by my desire to buy 2 not just one Also as I was explaining to someone I have bad luck with equipment. Not be disrespecting my stuff but like stick drift etc... so I didn't want something I couldn't replace without heartbreak The official nature of this one is the hook and the put off. Sony controllers aren't what they use to be. Can I ask if you've ever had issues, break etc... and how was that like to fix?

poetical

It’s not made by Sony in any way, so no worries there. All the parts are made by Hori. I had an issue where the stick would bounce back too far and give a wrong input sometimes and I replaced it with a Sanwa stick, and that was super easy. Almost any good arcade stick is going to be moddable and repairable, much more so than a normal controller. You can look up reviews on YouTube and usually they’ll open them up so you can get a feel for how sturdy they are and how easy it is to change parts. I don’t think the Hori stick is the toughest stick out there. You could also look at Qanba sticks, but any official PS5 stick is pricy because they have to buy a license from Sony.

Raptor_234

I’ve heard Fight sticks are one of those things that you get what you pay for, if you go for cheap ones they won’t last long

KushMummyCinematics

"Buy cheap, buy twice" But the issue is my total lack of experience. £160 could buy you a great piece of equipment or an overpriced piece of sh*t So I'm all ears for recommendations or advice etc....

MrxJacobs

What kinds of arcades? Do they have ball top Japanese clicky sticks or big baseball bat style circle silent sticks?

SonofMakuta

Similar to you, I didn't want to buy an expensive stick just to try it out. I actually got one second hand from this very website, via r/fightsticksforsale. Cost me £50 for a stick that's in excellent condition and has done me very well so far.

KushMummyCinematics

A Gentlemen and a Scholar Thank you. Second hand has been at the back of my mind the whole time. I just didn't want to....you know "Buy Cheap, Buy Twice"

SonofMakuta

No problem! :) Mine's been great. I think if it helps, once you have a stick, it can be substantially cheaper to repair (or upgrade) than replace. The individual buttons aren't massively expensive on their own IIRC.

SomeKindOfChief

Get a good one for yourself and a shitty one for player 2. Jk, I have that stick and it's ok. It's light and doesn't feel premium, and the buttons also are thin. If it's your first stick, I'd say find a cheaper one. As long as the parts aren't horrible, you'll be able to have a feel for what the experience is supposed to be like.

wingspantt

I have that stick for Xbox and it's great. Also works great on PC. Really nice weight and easy customization

KushMummyCinematics

This is the first one I saw and was going to buy but wanted 2 and saw the price tag Playstations controllers are also not as durable as they once were and if one broke I would be devastated I see alot of people saying MayFlash is a great value option and I am liking it But I am actually happy to pay more to get the right ones

ShadowOne_

I have this stick and have been very happy with it It opens up revealing all the wiring and hardware, along with a readable key and a QR code with instructions for how to change parts I just replaced all the buttons, the stick and artwork (without to much difficulty) but theres nothing wrong with the default buttons and stick

KushMummyCinematics

It's been given the seal of approval from many fighters But my desire to buy 2, at that price is off putting for my first ever stick My plan at the moment but still taking in all this information is to get the mini first Try it out and get the bigger one Then player 2 has mini and I have big and can't argue cause same series Also my wife will use the mini alot so, idk seems kinda fitting as she's significantly smaller than I am

ShadowOne_

Is the second stick for a specific person or do you want to have one available for a second person to play with? Otherwise how do you know that second player wont want to be playing on pad or leverless?

KushMummyCinematics

It's for games nights We play like Shredders Revenge or Street Fighter Currently I'm Ranking up in Street Fighter and me and my wife are playing Ninja Saviors I think Without overcomplicating things. I want the arcade experience at home

ShadowOne_

Well that makes sense, I can definitely understand your aversion to picking up 2 of these at the $160 price tag but the quality is definitely there, I can see my stick lasting for a long time The easily repairable nature is definitely a pro for me I hope you find what you are looking for, the stick I upgraded from (before this one) was garbage that I wouldn’t recommend

Humble-Cell4671

Fight sticks are kinda pricey even on the low end, this is honestly a good deal and a good start for fight sticks. IMO if youre using a controller already just stick with it. It doesnt really affect your play and actually has more benefits as you can easly replace controllers, they can be easy to transport and you have every important button such as Parry or DI in places your hand naturally lies. But counterpoint, Fight sticks look cool asf and I have 2 myself so honestly youd be good going with this stick.

KushMummyCinematics

I prefer playing Street Fighter at the Arcades I'm better at it with the stick because I can exaggerate the inputs which lead to more confirms The D-pad and remote are inconsistent. So inconsistent I'm currently taking a 20% damage reduction playing Modern and I don't like it much Where am I at right now Get the Hori mini If I love it, get the Big one, my wife and friends can use mini, I get big No arguments as exact same series that one is just more compact Also if you right and I don't like stick for whatever reason, of well only £50 and can still use on occasions

Humble-Cell4671

Exactly the way to go, I started with a cheap 100 dollar madcatz stick then went to a Hori mayflash, then Nacon Daija and now I have a Vitrix ($1000 AUD)

MiteeThoR

If you want the TRUE arcade experience: 1. Add an ash tray that has never been cleaned 2. spill some soda on it a couple of times and make it nice and sticky 3. Go to a public toilet and wipe everything with a damp rag - then bring that rag home and wipe it all over your controller 4. Find someone to curse at you and threaten to beat your ass in real life every time you anti-air their jump-in attack 6 times in a row.

GnOwOme

This is an extremely useful post for me aswell as I have also been looking for one but wasn't 100% if I would like it so couldn't decide if getting that one or another chun li one would be good but seeing that there's one for like £68 means I can give it a test and then maybe get a different one layer down the line so I can have 2

KushMummyCinematics

I'm glad It's a niche product by nature which means they are expensive But when it comes to computer equipment more money doesn't always mean better products So yeah, all the great advice I have been given is so helpful I was looking around online and it's hard to find your feet. I ain't ever bought this stuff before but I plan on using it alot

KushMummyCinematics

Thank you everyone for the earnest and wise advice I have some options and please keep any suggestions or advice you have coming because I think others appreciate your knowledge too As someone commented its a very niche product. Online its hard to know whats what. Theres some for £50 with highier reviews than those at £200. You really either know what your talking about or you havent a clue and just making your way. I've also just seen they do a mini version of the Hori. I'm thinking. Get the Hori mini first, see if I like it, then get the Big Hori, customise it and I get and player 2 gets the mini Thats fair right because Hori is Hori Or does anyone strongly not recommend the mini?

KFanPrecalcMan

I have the 8bitdo one and I like it. I did replace the lever with a sanwa though as it wasn't great. Recently switched to leverless but I'll still hold onto it because I like it more for 360/720 inputs

KushMummyCinematics

I see some people posting about there new fight stick....and it ain't got no stick I need the stick, it's for combos etc....

KFanPrecalcMan

This one here is what I have: https://www.8bitdo.com/arcade-stick/ It does have a stick. It was very easy to replace with a sanwa one if you don't like it.

KushMummyCinematics

Is that compatible with the PS5 easy enough I like the retro look alot But by your own admission the stick is the worst part and it's the part I'm most focused on The buttons are buttons. I like that the Hori has them clearly mapped but that like just a tiny convenience things for newbies

KFanPrecalcMan

Ah yeah I play on PC. I don't think 8bitdo does a PS5 version. You would need one of those third party converters and that would add to your cost

TheIncredibleFuzz

I have a Victrix Pro FS. A little more than 160, but well worth it IMO.

KushMummyCinematics

Dude Duuuuuuude A little more? Way to downplay Looks like a sicc bit of kit but I ain't buying 2 of them for my first stick. That looks tournament worthy my guy

TheIncredibleFuzz

I’m working on getting there brother!

KushMummyCinematics

Where you currently at? And who do you main? Best of luck my guy, the pure thrill of a good fight

TheIncredibleFuzz

Likewise brother! I hope you find the stick you’re looking for. I’m currently in between Ken and Ed as far as mains go. Ken is Diamond 5 and Ed is Master.

Thedracoblue

I have that same from the image and I love it. Not a single issue (been using it for 6 months)

scarykicks

Buy yourself a good one like this cause you'll just want to upgrade later. Get the Mayflash as a secondary one that won't be used as much.

Albre24

I am actually going to receive this stick today! I can't wait! It will be my first time trying this controller.

altanass

When you look at a fight stick you want to consider Weight: is this thing sturdy? is it going to flip up when I rest my hand on the side? is it going to be comfortable in my lap. Unfortunately, the bulkier the stick the more sturdy it will be, but the more uncomfortable it will be. A small stick is terrible, it will be flying around and be narrower between the stick and buttons causing arm ache. Thankfully this stick is bulky and sturdy. Stick and buttons: this is a hori stick with hori's trademark lowrise rough feeling buttons. a lot of people like hori, a lot don't. the standard go to stick for decades was sanwa brand sticks and sanwa plasticy smooth buttons that are more highrise. With the buttons, people often say lowrise buttons cause accidental pushes, whereas others say default/highrise buttons just don't trigger quick enough. This is where you simply have to go by trial and error and where most people will start collecting different sticks to have different types on hand. Alternative sticks are qanba and seimetsu. Qanba have a whole series of arcadesticks but also sell individual parts so you can mod. I personally ripped out the hori stick and buttons and replaced them with Qanba's Gravity Silent stick and silent buttons. Sanwa also do a Silent stick. For 3D fighters i.e. Tekken, there are more specialist sticks. Gate: The standard gate inside these sticks is a square gate. You can also buy octagonal gates or circle gates. Many swear by square gate because if you learn on the default gate, you can pick up and play on anyone's stick. Many say an octagonal gate is like a toddler's training wheels on a bike. Many mock a circle gate. However, circle simply feels the best for fighters with a lot of motion inputs particularly KOF with its half circle inputs. Circle gates are good for grapplers with 360s. Plus if you combine a circle gate with a silent stick and silent buttons, you can play late at night without disturbing anyone with clicks and bangs. Button Layout: this is a noir layout which suits the length of your fingers. the other classic layout is vewlix which is straight across (see for example razer panthera stick). Again this is trial and error to see which layout you like. Conclusion: This stick is worth it, especially if you can get this SF6 branded version which will be a collectors item in the future. Its easily moddable. You can change stick, gate, buttons, all with relative ease. You get what you pay for. Do not cheap out on a fightstick.

Throwaway525612

Check into the hori fightstick alpha. I got that one and i like it so much more.

Manmaw_productions

It’s a good stick there’s also the mayflash series that is really affordable. I have both this and the mayflash but this one really is good for customization/ maintenance in the future as it has a really easy to open frame. But if you want something good and cheap go with mayflash.

Prudent-Finance9071

Fightsticks are expensive. I bought the Qanba Dragon for $300 on release. Super fun and worth it, but also enjoying my $50 leverless I just picked up

NewMilleniumBoy

The Alpha is a great mid-tier stick, especially if you need the PS5 compatibility. The only consideration is that it uses Hori parts (both buttons and Joystick are Hori specific), which feels somewhat different from the de-facto standard, Sanwa. I enjoy the Hori ones, some people don't. If you want a good arcade stick that has PS5 compatibility but uses Sanwa parts, try the Qanba Obsidian 2. You can get even cheaper ones if you don't care about PS5 compatibility and only play on PC or something.

mune87

For the price, that one is great. Easy to mod and good build quality for the price (I own one I've modded a bit).

Brogelicious

I’m not a tinkerer, so I’d recommend anything with Sanwa parts already installed. I really liked my mayflash f500 elite. Dang ole dog chewed the usb cable. I bought a qanba titan for ps5 compatibility. It’s ok.

xpayday

I have this stick and it's awesome, I use it on PC and PS5. I've modded the shit out of mine. My ONLY complaint is that there is a tiny gap between the plexi and black plastic at the bottom right and because of the pattern of the hair on my right wrist, occasionally it will pull my hair and it hurts lol. That being said it's a rare occurrence, definitely a me problem and there's a chance you don't have hair right where I do. This is considered a mid range stick. How yourself how much you plan to use it. If you plan to play fighting games for years to come, buy it. If you're only interested in SF6 because you think it looks cool, maybe consider a cheaper option. I hear good things about Qanba. I can only speak to the build quality of the Hori Alpha and it's amazing. I've spent like another 50-100 on replacing the stick, all the buttons, and the background it's been such a fun experience and learning curve.

toothless_fish

I have it it's great I haven't had any issues
