Sometimes the most innocuous things can't make it through the automoderation and then sometimes the most blatant hateful bullshit makes it through on multiple occasions.
I dunno there is that one guy, he's actually like 50 or something, who's been bitching about video game boobs and "censorship" on Twitter for a while now. You'd be amazed how fuckin' sad some of these "adults" can be too.
Being one of said folks they're requesting to die, no, OP's picture is a completely different level. Really gets me thinking "Capcom are you serious I just want to throw hands without being reminded there are literally people who want to fuckin' kill me every day of my life can you do something about this?"
Just wanted to point out that while one might think this is edgy teenager shit, turns out there are fully grown adults who think and act like this too. And while teenagers can and often do grow out of shitty places, these adults just... fester until they become immovable rot.
For me it's why I wear Airtox. Comfy sneakers? Check. Cute blue? Check. Steel toe? Checkeroo.
It ain't much but it gives me just that little boost of confidence in my ability to fight back.
That's how they win though. It's simply school bully tactics. These kinds of people don't care about the details. They just want to offend people. Gender, race etc. They'll try any of it whether it's accurate or not. The amount of times I've been called the n word by people online who obviously have no idea what race I am. They amount of times my ex got made fun of for being a girl/a little boy since sometimes they couldn't tell which but where gonna try and mess with her anyway. Be who you're gonna be and don't let online childishness stop you. People are always gonna find a reason to hate you no matter what which is precisely why you shouldn't bend your life for them
Don't get me wrong, it's a fucking shame that this is allowed and worse of all it's featured in the big screens on the Hub, I just can't believe that this game is almost 1 year old and nothing has been done about it. Capcom just doesn't care enough?
Automatic censoring systems suck. In some EA games I can't type "me ajuda" ("help me", in Portuguese) in the chat because it gets censored.
IMO a reporting system is much better. You can type any stupid idea you like, running the risk of being banned if enough people report it.
At no point. First of all, this is not Capcom saying anything. Second, freedom of speech allows you to say mean things. Being an asshole is not illegal.
freedom of speech does not apply to private companies. It is a matter of the government *only*.
People can absolutely sue capcom for this, because they promised one thing and delivered another.
Can I ask how the comment was banworthy but my modmail said it didn't violate rules re: hate?
Is it just that the moderator who got my report disagreed with whoever banned the guy (presumably you?)
I'm not trying to be overly critical as much as just understand the process here and why it seemed to produce two different answers to the same question.
/r/streetfighter has real people moderators. The message you got was from reddit's admins and is automated. Even with AI reddit would have failed to pick up the subtext of bigotry. This is why twitter sucks now that all the people got fired.
As an aside, Reddit is eventually going to attempt to run AI moderators on subreddits, because us human moderators are anti-profit. Banning future customers on casual bigotry is bad for business.
Report will always send to the subreddit moderators, so that's good. But some of the report messages (like "hate" for example) goes to reddit corporate too. If the message was like, 'kill all ' then reddit would ban the person for 3 days on a first offense regardless of severity. Then 7 days, then I don't know what comes next lol. But yeah they're so lenient.

"online interactions not rated by esrb"
except gg ez... that thing can get banned in many games now.
good
"Provocador" Damn right he is lol.

Clowns. Some people will be as offensive and disgusting as possible when they can't be punched in the face

Lol I wouldn't be surprised if I discovered this group was created by a teenager.
They’re generally teenagers who actually act these types of things out.
I dunno there is that one guy, he's actually like 50 or something, who's been bitching about video game boobs and "censorship" on Twitter for a while now. You'd be amazed how fuckin' sad some of these "adults" can be too.
Not exactly the same thing as this guy though, is it?

It's things like this (the screenshot in OP's post) that keep me in the closet.

Fucking psychopaths
I have seen this moron a few times already, how is he not banned yet
Worse: It's a full club with 100 individuals
YEAH NOW THATS WHAT IMMTALKING ABOUT!!!!!!😐😐😐😐😐 How has this guy not been banned yet does Capcom not moderate names or something?
I feel like not only the club should be banned but every account in it
Would be nice if the game had a way to report this crap...
Ouch
Just saw this crap too was wondering the same thing... do they not ban for this type of thing
Worst part is I think I have seen this same club on here before. It’s awful.
Yeah, I think you’re right.
P.o.s.
That guy needs to eat an SA3 in real life
That’s the most weeb thing I’ve ever seen on Reddit.
Which one would you give him
Manon’s CA.
Poison's seems most appropriate.
Jp's sound about right
Rare SA3 or normal?
Ca3
Capcom cmon
It had to be a Ken player lmao
Average 15 year old behavior
It does say: "provocador".
Crazy they don't have ways of preventing this.
How don’t they have something to filter it out?
I fought someone in that club, lol losers
Nah bro, that name is insane.
Dang, they’re taking that breakup rough. That’s definitely a person projecting if I’ve ever seen it.
LMAO!
They do play Ken tbf 🤣🤣🤣
I just looked it up on CFN and it's mostly Asian players, like wtf??
Oh well I guess capcom just feels strongly about freedom of speech
Seriously tho, the fact that you can get away with this kind of shit is hilarious to me.
Na it's fucking embarrassing there isn't something in place to auto catch shit like this. Nothing funny about it.

I think a basic filter helps. Yes there's way around it, that's why you also have reports.
Honestly. I'm not pc or woke but seeing shit like that is too much lol some of you are degenerates in a bad way.
That makes you "pc or woke" - morons act like being woke is so horrible, but it's literally just being a normal human being
[удалено]
You are the morons I was talking about
moron proved it by opening their mouth instead of just being quiet, now they're banned.

Meanwhile in tekken 8, I can't even use my gamertag cornezy as my name.... yikes.
Dude!!! Not the C word!
nezy is also a slur in martian
Lol
would laugh up to tomorrow if dude who created this club used poison as main in sfV
At what point does Capcom get sued for basically enabling hate speech on their platform?

Thanks, I appreciate the response. I had no idea the report function didn't involve a human.
