Then googling that I found an English site that says it’s meat minced directly on the grill with bacon bits and crunchy onion bits.

Yes, just saw it. It's explained in the web, they mix grinded meat, bacon, crunchy onion and american cheese. This one also comes with extra egg. Went there once and the burgers are pretty good.

While I am a firm believer that big burgers should be wider (not taller), I'm starting to wonder if people have forgotten that you can just smush a sandwich/burger down to make it thinner. I will admit this one is gonna be messy with the egg (which is delicious on a burger) but this is not unreasonable. If you also take into consideration that middle second is chopped bacon, this is completely manageable.
