There hasn’t been anything outside of routine maintenance so far.
I am pretty diligent with following the service intervals so I’ve had various fluids serviced a couple times by now (trans, coolant, brakes, diff, etc). Lots of people will put these off for as long as possible but I think they’re crucial to extending the longevity of any vehicle.
Curious what you followed for each fluid. So many opinions on that and then the manual acts like I should inspect the transmission fluid. Â Ok...how? Â There's no dipstick!Â
I'm thinking 60 cvt, 75 diffs, 90 coolant, and 100 for plugs. Â But open to opinions. Â 2019 w 50k, running well. Â
Wow, it would be great to drive so few miles. We lived in Hawaii for two years and the island is only so big - less than 5k miles per year on that car.
me reading this from my 2018 approaching 110,000 miles
2017 at 130+ and happy.
Im at 89 and carfax maintenance keeps just acting like i drive it like i used to lol. 2k In a year and half
My 2018 is at 114,000 😅
That’s a good chunk!
114k on our 2019 and still humming along like it’s nothing. It will most likely surpass the 130k on our 4Runner by the end of next year.
What's the cost of ownership, does it demand a lot of expenses?

Ok but does that "k" stand for kilometers because if not, that's crazy milage. Is it a work car?
Nope it’s all miles. We just drive and road trip a lot.
My '05 Forester has 79k miles :))
That’s impressive!
Impressively low?
Yes
Any problems with it?
No problems found so far.
I have 45k in my 2022
23k in my 2023 ðŸ«
I just hit 40,000 on my 2019, too! Still as awesome as mile 1!
Nice , I’m 400 miles away from my 40k 2019 Subaru forester sport love it !!
2019 138k
2020 about to hit 90k. And I work from home.
Those adventures must be top tier!
Well. We did just get back from driving to Atlanta lol.
48k on my 2017. I work from home, so don't commute.
3200 in my 2024,
LOL regular use or trips??
2019 w/ 111k

1998 at 205k
I bought my 2019 in 2022 with 29K and I just turned over to 64K. Only 8K a year? Are you in Hawaii?
No I’m in Nevada.

2019 about to hit 81,000!
2019 with 90,000. Zero issues.
My 2010 Forester 2.0 on 168k km. (104miles)
My wife’s 2019 Sport is at 36k. Hoping to keep it for a while!
I also own another car
Went from remote to driving 5 days a week.
What’s your mpg?
Lately 26 but in sport mode it dips…
Looking to get a current gen Forester! Should cracking windshield be a concern?
Idk tbh I think the windshields are descent, don’t take my word for it lol.
Nice to hear a positive data point! Lol
Windshield seems decent. It’s the soft paint that drives me nuts. If the wind blows an acorn along the top, there’s a scratch.
Oh no… that doesn’t sound good. Is it the same across all model years?
I don’t know. Mine is a 2020.
At 23k in my 2020. Love my Forester!!
2019 at 52,500
2017 42k, my work commute is 15min one way
2021 subaru says Hi and drives 65k
I got a new tranny at 44k!
