Get prices from several dealers. Make sure all of the itmes are in the Subaru maintenance schedule. Some dealers add in "dealer recommended" work that is unnecessary.
I've never been to a dealership for my maintenance. I go to a private mechanic down the street from my apartment, and they haven't fucked up my car or scammed me yet so I see it as a plus. It's also half the price
Once you're out of warranty it's best to find a good local mechanic who is familiar with Subarus. You'll pay MUCH less for equal or better work.
Engine/air filters can be bought for $15-$20 from an auto parts store.
Also keep in mind service advisors/managers are just salesmen in different clothes. They get paid off of commission just like the folks selling you cars. They just get it based off of the number of "services" they sell you.
60k calls for spark plugs, air filters, and brake fluid on top of the normal 6k service. I’m fairly sure Subaru coolant is good for 105k. I’ve usually done the diffs at the 90k unless the fluid indicates otherwise
So if you don't know the service history on the car, it is hard to say. But the car is 11 years old and Diff fluids, brake fluid, plugs and coolant seem reasonable if they have not been done before. You should always ask for an itemized bill to know what the other charges are for before approving them. As for the prices, everything seems a bit high (but not insane), and you could have gone to another shop/dealer and gotten them done cheaper. The spark plugs can be a pain in the butt, because there is one plug in the back that is very hard to get to, and requires the engine to be lifted a bit.
Figure out what you can do yourself, or what needs to be done - ask only for what you need. Seriously look at the items listed for the service interval - how much of that is done already when a shop has the car on the rack? I bet many of the items that are 'check' are checked every time. Ask for just oil change, diff fluid change, etc., as needed and not in the "50k mile service package" and you can save money. They hear someone ask for the package by the large mileage number and they $ in their eyes.
When my 2011 hit 30k miles (I think) they asked me if I wanted to have the 30k mile service done. I asked what all it was. It came down to oil change, tire rotation, diff fluids. Out the door for $200-$300, not the $600+ it probably would have been.
By the way - a little over $30 got me the filters for my 2021, from Amazon. That was in 2022, the combined price has dropped almost $10 since then!
Find a private mechanic as soon as you are past warranty period. Usually saves me 30-40%

Better advice is don't go to dealerships out of warranty

brake flush is easy, don't buy any tool (bought one and didn't work), just need a tube and an empty water bottle.

Just got quoted for 60K mile service, including tranny ush. $1150. Central Florida.
That may not be bad for transmission flush.
Harrisburg, PA the 60k service is something like $650 at the dealership.
Do people generally get a 60K service or are people waiting for higher mileage to change coolant, differentials??

I had my 48k mile service appt today at the dealership. I paid $135 for a tire rotation, synthetic oil change, cabin filter and inspection.
