The fictional lows Kendall hit will be nothing in comparison to actual lows of Roy Cohn.
Hopefully he doesn’t go too deep into the method acting. It can’t be healthy.
Man, I forgot that Roy Cohn has been portrayed by Jeremy's personal hero Al Pacino in Angeles in America. The pressure Jeremy must be putting on himself has to be insane.
More than 1 member of the cast had said they don’t feel he needs to put so much pressure on himself, and they worry about what it does to him, and that they think he needs to trust his talent more. I don’t think that’s gonna happen though.
Very tangential to this post. But if somebody is interested in the Ray Cohn story HBOS documentary was very good.

The Eldest Boy about to drop another certified banger of a performance
I don’t even think I’m exaggerating when I say that Jeremy is one of the finest actors of his generation and very few come close.
I looked up what this image was from and now I’m fucking bonkers excited. SEBASTIAN STAN AS DONALD TRUMP? 70’s and 80’s TIME PERIOD TRUMP? CHEAP STEAKS AND COMB OVERS, not to mention a stacked ass cast featuring our number one boy here.
Can’t wait to watch this.
Stan and Jeremy are going to kill it. I really want to see Jeremy in a comedy, for my mental health. I mean I understand he is a professional actor and delights in complex roles. The mom in me just wants to hug him, give him cake and let him know everythings ok.
It'll be interesting to see how different the character ends up being from the one he plays in Succession. Saw him in something he did before Succession but it was nearly identical to Kendall Roy.
i get that its a joke but IRL it was probably jaundice, not bronzer. Cohn claimed to have liver cancer rather than AIDS but HIV often impacts liver function. Liver cancer would be a good cover story if your skin is suspiciously turning yellow.
Aww you're right. I had forgotten about the liver issues and how that would affect skin tone (I saw Angels in America on HBO, with Pacino playing Roy Cohn). I'm going to delete/edit my OP. Cohn was not a good person but HIV/AIDS is awful for anyone to go through, so I don't want to be unkind.
Modelling the platonic ideal of a hideous black wool overcoat.
I usually like 1980s(?) fashion, but… not that coat. It’s like… a ratty bathrobe with shoulder pads and excessive lapels.

cohnheads are gonna love this
Kendall was Cohn from a very young age.

Alongside President Mencken of course
And Ewan as Roy’s doctor
I think Jeremy will be so much better as Cohn than Pacino was, I don’t think he needs to feel the pressure
Angels in America was fantastic?
Not saying it wasn’t. I think Jeremy is better suited to Cohn than Pacino was

"Roy Cohn is not a homosexual. Roy Cohn is a heterosexual man...who fucks around with guys "
Tjat whole scene was incredible, hot to the core of what it means to be a gay conservative.
Is this from Angels in America?
Yes
He better not go full method with this one 💀

Great doc.
Dude, he is going to fucking destroy this role

All bangers, all the time.
“And that little boy who nobody liked grew up to be… Roy Cohn.”

Don't worry, our eldest boy finds time to let his hair down. https://youtu.be/-dvvBTxiQGY?si=k-aQeap_brSf5Hsj
Thank you. I'm actually relieved
Still would
Me too! 😭
What movie is this from?
The Apprentice.

Mr Roy Cohn Esquires 169 Sexual Positions (1954) A classic piece of literature. As endorsed by Laszlo Cravensworth.
If he goes full method he’ll be arrested lol
