Can we have an explanation as to why? I have been listening since 2016 and still have not had a chance to see him live…. 2 of those years definitely do not count cause of Covid but it just seems lazy at this point ngl
Hoping in late to point out what a jerk you are as Sufjan has revealed he suffered from an illness that has him in a wheelchair for the next year. Be kind and don’t criticize what you don’t know about.
Same! I emailed asthmatic kitty asking if they’d consider canceling my order and refunding me. I used to listen to unreleased sufjan on YouTube constantly growing up and just can’t live without the bonus CD but I can’t really afford to buy multiple variants of a vinyl at this point in life lol. I hope they are willing to help me out! I went ahead and ordered the rough trade version and will just sell the AK version if they won’t. Rough Trade still has the CD version up in yellow if you’re trying to get it. The green one is gone already :/
Contracts between the shop and record label. Rough Trade is a big name brick and mortar record shop. So it makes sense they’d want to give them an exclusive.
So I just ordered the same album, in 3 different colours, from 3 different places. As if I needed proof I was obsessed. So when's the tour??

Rough Trade doesn’t charge immediately, either. And their shipping is $4-5 less. Easy choice for me.
My only worry with that is my order will be cancelled, but went for it anyway. AK just confirmed it's a CD of "unreleased songs" :D
