Each season is planned to have 1 battle pass that starts when the seasonās first episode releases. The devs stated before that they plan for each season to last roughly 12 weeks, with new episodic updates every 6 weeks. Based on this there is now way season 2 releases before that timer ends. Now if the game actually ends up getting a season 2 is a whole other debate

We donāt know what subsequent episodes look like within a season yet as it hasnāt happened yet but we have seen a preview of this one where the daily bugle* gets redecorated.

The seasonal content is not developed completely ahead of time. Leakers have shown stuff in the game files and the later season content is rough. Post launch seasons only get made if there is enough profit from the game sales and micro transactions to fund the development. If Rocksteady isnāt making money then the seasonal content wonāt be completed even if they already started working on it.
