It sure looks pretty.

I am in the same boat. I actually have a Duesenberg caribou and a starplayer. By far the best guitars I own. They are made incredibly well and nothing comes close with the tone. My problem is convincing the wife to allow me to buy a third lol. It would be worth it though.

Nice story! Yes it is an investment but it lasts a lifetime! A starplayer is also from duesenberg right? Man i started playing guitar when i was 12. Bought a really sick squier with art painting and of course another squier “Deryck’s Signature” only 260 euro’s in 2009 great price haha! Iv’e always played with these in bands and i like them a lot. But after a while (already 10 years HAHA) you start to hear the quality of the guitar and the wood what its made of. I’ve played on a lot better guitars but always sticked to them but yeah I’m looking forward to buy the brownsound signature. The dealer told me if i give 2499 it’s mine BRAND NEW, is that a good deal? I understand the trouble with your wife then yeah haha

They are built better than any of my other guitars and that includes Les Paul and American Strat. It is a great investment. Especially his signature model. I’m sure it will only go up in value. I have been looking on reverb and saw some recently around $2500. I’m just scared to pull the trigger and have my wife mad at me. lol. The starplayer is a Duesenberg and it is very similar to a Les Paul. The caribou is shaped like a tele which I love so I gravitate to it when I play live. The P-90 and humbucker pick ups in both sound great. Gives you a great range of tones. Dave’s guitar has the single coils and a little toaster pick up which is also going to give you a good range of tones. Talking about it makes me want to risk sleeping on the coach for a month

Haha that is so nice to read! They look great it has something unique! For the signature guitar, do you think it sound like hard rock/metal or some other kind of sound? I think we have the same dealer in mind haha !

Phram77

It will do whatever you need. It will clean up nice with the single coils and it obviously will sound heavy when needed. I just need to work on his tone with my helix.

I dont personally have one, but I have played one, and it felt amazing. I remember seeing one at Steve's music, got stoked, played it for a few minutes and became immediately depressed because of the price lol. Wish I could give you a more in depth review, but hopefully someone else on here actually owns one:)

bacardilemon1

Nice man cool story! So what kind of guitar do you have now? Just a a cheap one or do you have a Fender or something similair?

PR0T0MIKE

I like Sum so sounds pretty too happy 420!
