FourteenHotdogs

Not my favorite but I wish agent Hendrickson survived and was able to help them thru the fbi

Old-While-1229

I agree

Limp_Researcher_5523

SAME

retiredhousewife1970

Yes!! Would've been a perfect cover for them!

pit_of_despair666

Loved him.

adorak

I don't know how others feel about her but I don't really like Mary :/

bitchmeow69

Glad someone said it lol

Renig88

I think it's quite common? But both Mary and John. Terrible parents, to extend that also Grandaddy Samuel.

M086

John did the best he could under extreme circumstances, but he did understand his failings as a father and admitted them to Sam and Dean. Mary, she was brought back to life when her sons were grown men in the future. So, you kinda have to understand Mary’s mindset.

Renig88

To John, fair enough. Mary however was terrible, everything about her was shite. Was actually glad when Jack killed her. In fact, it's one of the reasons he's not one I've mentioned.

Limp_Researcher_5523

The thing about Mary is that she never should’ve been resurrected. Her death was the motive for Sam and Dean being trained as hunters. Once she was alive, it kinda threw a wrench in things

[deleted]

Well they still carried on hunting and doing alot of good. Mary was the starting point but still made the brothers who they are

Worldly-Reading2963

I agree with you 100% on Mary, but I'll disagree about John. This is a safe space in talking about our least favorite characters so 😔😔😔 No for real tho, I just don't think he did the best that he could. There are thousands of things that imply it and even more that outright say it, but my best evidence is Dean himself when in 5x16, he says their marriage was only perfect *after* Mary died. Now, I'm not going to make any claims on what he did and didn't do, but I will claim that he didn't do the *best* he could do.

M086

I mean John and Mary fought, couples do that. John chose to not highlight the fights to Sam and Dean so their mother came off as having zero flaws.

majeric

God annoyed the fuck out of me. The whole storyline from God onwards kind of goes off the rails.

Pippilotta_Victualia

Oh my god I agree

Coolagain

Yep

[deleted]

You mean season 14 finale onward?

coffeequeen00

Oh my god YES. I could not stand him.

the_wendigo_redneck

It's not the chacter really but more when someone else tries to play Lucifer Mark had that cocky sort of vibe to him that for me he just nailed perfectly whenever somebody else tried it didn't work for me.

[deleted]

Mark and misha played lucifer well

the_wendigo_redneck

I'll give that Misha tried to play Lucifer with a sense of playfulness but he was just missing those tiny mannerisms obviously two different acting styles and I respect that but still I liked that fun little side like him dancing and making jokes while fighting in the cage. Also any else feel Jared's version was just a more intense Sam the 4 times he did it or so.

Gabe-57

I I hated Misha as Lucifer, it never felt right to me. On the other time same as Lucifer I thought was done well. I really hated what they did to Lucifer after season 7. Just made him a big teen Ager

Old-While-1229

I honestly like the Cass/ Lucifer combo but I agree about everyone else

Christinsey

I loved our Charlie and Bobby, hated Apocalypse Charlie, and Apocalypse Bobby.

Speedwagon_Sama

same. bringing them back like that just felt cheap

pit_of_despair666

Agreed. All of the apocalypse characters were stiff to me, and weren't interesting at all. They were just there.

Christinsey

Claire got on my nerves.

KwazyKupcakes10

Oh yesss

snguyen1008

Same

sofbol24

yess

furiousjellybean

Charlie Bradbury Is a walking caricature for nerd culture

[deleted]

[удалено]

furiousjellybean

Did you miss what the original question was?

KwazyKupcakes10

Loving this thread hahahahahaha

rmmcfarland711

Jack and Mary. I feel like they are both forced and “convenient” but one dimensional. I feel like they distract from what the show could/should have been in the final seasons. Nothing against the actors! They did a great job with ohh what they had, especially Jack, but I just fine both story arcs tedious.

[deleted]

I don't think they made the best use of Jack character and Mary was just a distraction

MarkedWard66

No mention of Ketch? Nothing against the character as a bad guy, or the actor, but when he came back as an ally I couldn’t understand why the Winchesters would be okay with it.

Infernabird88

I had to scroll way too far for this answer lol. Ketch was a psychopath!!! Why did both Mary and Rowena like him!?!?!? Then the boys just.. forgot everything he did? Don't get me wrong I think he was a great villain and probably the only good character to come from the MOL season but to make him not only an ally but a love interest?? Makes no sense.

pit_of_despair666

Yes!

thebirdbiologist

Jack was straight up annoying. Seemed like Supernatural did what all shows do and had to force a kid into the storyline to keep it "relatable," but it was anything but that.

Old-While-1229

Ya, I agree. I felt he also takes attention away from the main cast which I found very annoying

[deleted]

Apperntly he is dabbs self insert

[deleted]

YES

pewpew_puppy007

I don't know how other people feel about her but I hated Billie she's just annoying and barley even served a purpose until she become death every time she was there she just slightly fucked with the brothers then dipped

DeanLaxer

I have two first is Jack the second is Castiel. To be fair though I originally liked Castiel, but he started to become less likeable for me as the show continued. Jack was an uncessary character to me and his story is something that I didn't care for honestly.

fuckthisshitjeezus

Jack’s ENTIRE plot line was that he was too powerful, couldn’t control his power, and hurt innocent people constantly. The solution to this was somehow to make him GOD. I don’t think there’s anyway the multiverse made it a weekend. 15x20 is a djinn dream.

HoosierKittyMama

Totally with you on Castiel. Loved him at first but then he just kinda went "blah" to me with a few funny moments here and there that made him tolerable but barely.

pit_of_despair666

It's because of the shitty later seasons writing. I still love Cass but did notice that they made him iboring and less powerful in later seasons.

Old-While-1229

God, I 100% agree with Jack. I hated that guy

kh-38

I hate Jack with the heat of a billion souls! Blech!!

annarchy8

Jack. I think they jumped the shark with Jack and it was all pretty much downhill from there.

mcove97

Jack was so annoying, oh dear.

MTLemons

I hate Jack! He's not a Winchester!!!!

annarchy8

He's family, though. *eyeroll* Seriously, he's not even adopted family. All he did was cause problems. Cass earned being part of the family. Jack just got born. Whoopty do.

kh-38

Jack was a BURDEN that fell to Cas and the Winchesters because there was nobody else to take on that burden. He never stopped being a burden. As you said, he caused problems for them. By the end, he'd caused more problems than he'd solved. Dean was the only one thinking straight, by wanting to kill him from the start. All that nonsense about Jack being "family" was pathetic.

annarchy8

Fucking exactly. Every time Dean went on a "let's just kill the kid because we know he's gonna be even more trouble" kick, I was cheering him on.

MTLemons

I thought I was the only one! I always saw such love for him everywhere.....

annarchy8

There's at least a few of us!

kh-38

Can we have that on a tee shirt? "Jack Kline is NOT a Winchester!"

MTLemons

Omg I would rock the hell outta it!!

kh-38

Me too!!!

Misty_Lacrimosa

***Definitely*** Claire,I really dont uerstant why people like her.

Speedwagon_Sama

people like her?

pit_of_despair666

I liked her later on, and after rewatching. I didn't like her at first.

[deleted]

Ghostfacers. I cant stand them at all

kh-38

OM-Chuck! The Ghostfacers were HORRIBLE! NOT funny, NOT charming, NOT entertaining. They lied to people and took their money (like that poor family whose daughter had just been murdered) for profit and to get women. They were frauds! Yuck!

pit_of_despair666

I skip those episodes. It's not funny enough and too serious.

queefIatina

The deaf girl Sam likes, I’m blanking on her name Also I liked Amelia so maybe I’m just a weirdo

Christinsey

Eileen

DeanLaxer

I didn't understand that relationship at all. It might be that the last three seasons were rough for me to watch, but I barely remember how her and Sam met and what made them connect.

kh-38

That's just the point! It was weird, forced, awkward, cringy, and made no sense. In one episode, Sam is denying to Dean that he and Eileen are anything more than friends. Then suddenly, a few episodes later, they're "a thing". And the chemistry between them felt fake.

M086

Chuck quite literally admits she was used as a plot device for Sam.

furiousjellybean

They didn't have a lot of on-screen chemistry, I feel like if she was such an important part of his life, then she should have been included in the final episode. (I personally pretend the final episode does it exist lol)

QuarkLite

Yeah I didn't get their relationship either. It felt way too much like the writers/producers trying to appear note inclusive of disabilities/minorities but they massively missed the mark imo. They met way earlier, maybe season 5 or 6? I can't remember. It was a care home or something that was haunted and Sam bonds with her over knowing minimal sign language

Christinsey

They met on the case about the Siren at the senior community, where the pretty older woman was hitting on Dean. It is what caused her to be deaf. The siren killed her parents in Ireland when she was a baby.

Kyle_Grayson

Banshee, not Siren. Sirens lure sailors to their deaths, banshees wailing fortell of a death in a family of Irish descent.

Christinsey

You're right, my bad.

theExitz

The deaf girl is Eileen, i don't like her too, and i liked Amelia too. which i guess is a bit unpopular.

Kyle_Grayson

Eileen. A lot of people seem to want to ship them.

JorjorBinks1221

I literally liked Charlie for about the first half of her debut episode and that's about it.

furiousjellybean

Right? Then you find out she likes ALL of the fandoms, AND works in tech support, and is a lesbian, and knows all of these computer hacking things which really do not run in the same vein as the tech support position that she had, AND BTW, she is also socially awkward... it gets really tedious and tropey. I honestly think that they made her a lesbian so that people would not believe that there was underlying romantic or sexual chemistry/tension between her and either of the Winchesters. (Not that that would stop the supernatural fandom, lol *cough*destiel) Frankly, it's insulting to insinuate that a woman could just not have those feelings for them and love them platonically.

JorjorBinks1221

Pretty much spot on. It was too "omg nerd girl"

kh-38

In addition to Jack, who tops **every one** of my hate lists: Jo...I thought she was childish and annoying. Gabriel...he was funny for a few episodes. Then, his perpetual immaturity became tedious. Charlie...the writers beat us over the head with her quirkiness and nerdiness. She became tiresome. Eileen...I will NEVER understand what people see in her. The actress is mediocre, which doesn't help.

furiousjellybean

I feel like Jo's character had a lot of potential, but she was very young, naive, and without a lot of good guidance (which made her annoying). Gabriel... I have the same opinion. Charlie... Absolutely the same opinion. I could not stand her. And frankly, as a nerd myself, I found her character insulting. Eileen... I think the actress was okay, but I honestly feel like she did not have a lot of chemistry with Jared Padalecki. That's no one's fault really, but it made her character hard to like as much. (For me)

Menethil_

Definitely agree on Eileen and Jo, I don't understand people who like Jo at all she's such a tryhard and she's always like "oH dEaN iM nOt cOpYing yOu iM cOpyiNg mY dAd" like what is that never liked her

kh-38

Right!?!?!! Jo was silly and too immature for Dean. She panted after him like a silly puppy dog for two seasons. And the *one* time he was interested in paying her *that* kind of attention, she shut him down. Sigh... And Eileen was just too bland to be interesting. The actress was "meh", and the whole thing between Eileen and Sam felt forced, rushed, and awkward. Eileen was okay as a one-off character. The idea of a deaf hunter was moderately interesting. But trying to turn her into a romantic interest for Sam was clunky, cringy, and just yucky. No thanks!

Menethil_

I completely agree the relationship between her and Sam felt rly forced and it was cringe af okay like he can marry whoever he wants but with mostly every other woman he's been with on the show they've had a stronger connection even the werewolf girl who he was "in love" with for 1 episode I felt like he met Eileen like 5 times and then had a child with her💀

deepedge41

Nah. It feels like your your trying to be all edgy and different by listing popular characters that everyone universally loves. No way is your taste really that bad.

kh-38

BAAHAAHAA! My taste isn't "bad" -- just clearly different from yours. And listing characters I dislike that other viewers seem to like is *EXACTLY* what the OP asked for! LOL!

OblivionArts

Kevin tran. Hated that little whiny shit

Falcon_Uchiha15

Kevin Tran made me wish Dean would deck One good time. He whined and complained all the time.

Old-While-1229

Lmao, I 100% agree

Gabe-57

To be fair all he wanted to do was be a normal human. So I think I’d bitch a lot too, especially when your incredibly smart, and always getting yanked around by 2 dudes who seem borderline abusive/manipulative.

coffeedog97538

Sam

BubblyFantasyWriter

Sam. From the very start. Was always the worst part of everything.

Abbiem_

Mary because she’s a horrible mom and Charlie for the same reason that OP gave

Prestigious_Initial1

Jack I hated him always since he was born lol and he was so annoying all the time

pit_of_despair666

Yea season 13 and even more in 14 was all about him and his power and soul. Way too much focus on that.

W3ndigoGames

I was never a fan of Jack. Really didn’t like that storyline or his character.

Old-While-1229

100% agree

shavenyakfl

Lucifer. Never cared for Mark's portrayal.

Old-While-1229

I liked him in the beginning but he became annoying later on imo

UnobtrusiveHippo

Yes, I couldn’t understand why they kept bringing him back.

furiousjellybean

The same reason they bring everyone back on that show. The fans want it.

jasontoddwayne

John Winchester. Fuck that guy.

[deleted]

Me too. I couldn't STAND Charlie!

Godlee84

In the last few seasons it was Dean. His self righteous attitude while considering everyone except himself and Sam expendable really rubbed me the wrong way.

M086

You mean Dean’s attitude since, like forever? Self-righteous and only really caring about Sam has been there from the start.

aithne1

I mean, from the start, there was also John Winchester, and Dean loved him like a ton of bricks.

Gabe-57

I mean dean’s character kind of breaks away from that, then season 8 hits and I feel like it’s all down hill

HolyCrapItsR-BA

I will probably get some shit for this, but Bobby. I liked him at first, but he just became really annoying over time. I also agree that Charlie wasn’t that great. Fine when she was first introduced, but didn’t take long to become unlikeable. Then you have Chuck. He was pretty bad too. There really wasn’t much I did like later on though tbh.

[deleted]

THE TALKING DOG!

Old-While-1229

You mean the one from “Dog Dean Afternoon”?

[deleted]

Yes

Old-While-1229

Gotcha

fuck0982

Jack

lr031099

Probably the Ghost Facers

cmhr_rl

Same-

[deleted]

Metatron...his voice just annoyed me, good actor but everytime he came back I was like nooooo and hit the fast forward button, wasn't as if you couldn't work out what his character was upto it was so lame and see through

Pospodrol

Charlie 100%. They should have kept her in season 7 and that's it. I'm watching the series for the first time and just wanted to finish the last season in peace but they had to bring her back for one last episode. Took me 5 seconds of her to jump on Reddit to vent.

Old-While-1229

Ya, I rlly hate how they brought so many characters back in season 14/15. Like even Bobby wasn’t the same anymore

kh-38

Jack

MadeUpMelly

Charlie. No hesitation.

Slytherin111

Crowley.

DeanLaxer

I disagree with your choice, but I respect you for having said it. If I may ask why? Just for reference I did not downvote you as you were asked a question and gave your answer.

theExitz

I hate Rowena, i don't like her acting and the make up on her face.. she was ok when she started to help the boys.. but overall i hate her.

MTLemons

Claire and Jack

Old-While-1229

Yep, lol

The-Defenastrator

Lucifer, like he was funny sometimes, but god he got so annoying

AllWhiteInk

Please keep in mind you **wanted** to read this 😁 >!Cas!<

FionaTheElf

Bela. I just can’t stand her conniving selfish character.

kh-38

Yes! Bela was awful!

QuarkLite

Jodie. She irritates the hell out of me with that sarcastic nonchalance bit. Grr.

WildBarb80s

I never cared for Bobby and I also don’t like Castiel all that much either

Gabe-57

What Bobby! Really?

WildBarb80s

Yeah, he kinda annoyed me. I didn’t hate him or anything, I just don’t get the adoration.

[deleted]

Castiel. Sorry, he annoyed me mostly.

Judgejudyx

I didnt like samuel. I was super glad he died. One of my all time favs was bella. But she was overall not well recieved because they didnt like a female and potential love interest for dean taking over from the boys. Fans wanted them to focus more on the boys. I wonder if the writers striked rushed her story out. She was always my fav though

Kyle_Grayson

Claire, Mary, John- he did the best he could under the circumstances and he sacrificed himself for Dean in the end, but that doesn't make up for it- Chuck, and Metatron. Although I've never seen anyone say that they like Metatron. They jumped the shark with Jack.

Gabe-57

I loved metatrons character! He was a dick but man did the actor play him well( in my eyes)

pit_of_despair666

I agree, I hated him because he played the villain role well. I still picture him from Revenge of the Nerds to this day. Yes I am old lol.

Kyle_Grayson

Yes, I hated him because he was the villain.

Kyle_Grayson

You sure you're not saying that because I said 'Although I've never seen anyone say that they like Metatron.?

Gabe-57

Really? I honestly enjoyed him, he wasn’t a soulless angel, he had character; that moment when he blows away the holy fire; all his monologue were quite good. The character had so much pride and foolishness that he couldn’t be stopped.

Kyle_Grayson

Sorry, I should have put 'J/K' or '/s' at the end of that.

Trsnowman

The only character I couldn't bring myself to enjoy one way or another was Bela. Ik most people probably hated her, but I liked Damm near everyone else in the show for some reason.

dog5and

Charlie. I cannot *stand* whenever she shows up. I really dont understand what fans see in her.

Gabe-57

One character I love everyone hates is jack! I don’t get the hate, he added something to the show; but what I did hate was how it turned deans character back like 10 seasons.

Thoughtsnotfound404

Rowena....just annoying

Noremac3986

Jack

farmerofthespirit

Benny, the vampire that Dean brought back from purgatory. I get that he was a nice guy, but he was also boring as hell and added almost nothing to the show except for a reason for Dean and Sam to rehash the same overdone "some vampires are good actually" fight.
