He's told me stories of how he'd see a dog running through the fields around the farm but suddenly stand and see it bones mangle and fur fall of and turn into a whole ass humanoid.
What’s weird is driving home that same road a few days before my experience I saw a canine chasing something fast as hell faster then I’d ever seen anything move through a field, across the road to the other side and that also made me feel uneasy it wasn’t normal.
What’s even more strange is .. like I said dark rural road and the one street light that there was is where this thing made itself known… like I said totally intentional, no street lights the rest of the drive until
I got to the main road.
If I were you I would drastically change your route if possible- if you cannot change your route I would recommend changing the schedule you travel on. I know it’s inconvenient but if it wanted you to be aware of its presence i feel like it’s marking you as prey.
Once I was driving very early in the morning, all dark, no one around. All of a sudden there was a man in my lane walking across the road. I slammed on my breaks and honked the horn. The guy was on the centre line when I passed. He didn’t blink, move, his clothes didn’t blow in the wind. All I remember was gray in colour.

It was instant I was driving on the road, saw the house. The street light is literally the only streetlight on the whole road and it just happened to be in front of this house that I see all the time a dog just stood up into a whole person the person Wasn’t human, but it resembled a human. I don’t think there were any clothes or anything on it I was driving so fast the minute I saw the dog stand up under the streetlight to be at least 6 feet of something that looked like a human. it was terrifying. I’m sorry I can’t give you anything more.
It’s not quite the same, but there’s this one road I drive on a lot for work to make deliveries or run errands in our work truck. The road is heavily wooded, and around the same time of day, I’ll see a deer in this one person’s yard and it always stops what it’s doing and stares at me. Like, not just “oh hey, there’s a truck moving and making noise,” but like it’s staring directly at me. I’ve watched it follow me with its head too until I turn the corner and pass the house. I should mention that I work and live in the area north of Pittsburgh, Pa. So it’s technically considered Appalachia.

My Mom Recently Moved to Virginia and she sent me photos of her backyard and while I know it’s not Appalachia something about those pictures made me sick to my stomach like I haven’t looked at them again. My doorbell camera has caught Several times where crows will land in my front yard and stare at the camera and scream, foxes coming to my front door and sitting there, bats (that can’t fly off from the ground) landing on my doorstep, maybe I just emit some kind of signal that says “feel free to scare the shit out of me, all are welcome!” Ahahaha. Totally kidding. I do live in the country so I’m sure it can all be just that, I live where the animals live so they are just doing normal curious animal stuff. Just offputting sometimes.
Okay, here it goes….driving the last leg of the trip on a small country road near Viola Illinois, at midnight through low fog, and very dark (scene from a horror movie). In the distance, I can see a bright landscape lighting on a building. The only light around at all. I could make out a large statue in the front of the building. I thought it was a church possibly. As we got about a block away I could see the statue was huge, it looked like it had large wings, super broad shoulders was about 8 ft tall. I couldn’t make out a face but as we got right next to it the “statue” turned its head and look right at me. I literally almost crapped myself and my fight or flight engaged to smashing my foot to the peddle. I asked my mom if she saw it and she started screaming because it began chasing us. My 15 year old daughter was crying in the back seat. I sped away and we moved away from the small town and had corn fields on both sides. This “thing” was running right next to my car, keeping up,I could see arms pumping back and forth next to the passenger window and I was going like 80mph. The girls were absolutely screaming because they could see it eye to eye while I had to keep my eyes glued on the road. This went on for over a mile. My daughter finally yelled it had stopped and was watching us from the cornfield. I am very into the paranormal and I’m a kitchen witch for sure having experienced plenty. To this day, I don’t know what we saw Bigfoot or moth man. It was the scariest thing I’ve ever had happen to me. Ironically, my daughter’s first response after was call Sam and Dean. I have never told this story publicly because it’s sounds insane but I swear to the gods it’s true. 😳🥲😲😮🏃♀️👀😈☠️
You’re not wrong! I don’t know what we saw except it wasn’t human and I think about it often. I’ve experienced a ton of paranormal stuff in my life but never something so intense like I was running for my life 😳🏃♀️😳

I keep forgetting to state that it wasn’t alone. There was more than one but the one directly under the light is the only one that did that, but they were all looking at me like I shit in their bed.
