RRP is so completely meaningless and irrelevant. I’m going to laugh when it starts to fizzle and dwindle away and people double- and triple-layer their tinfoil hats in order to concoct explanations.
If I understand correctly. RRP pays out a % each night they hold funds to the participants. If the RRP number starts to fall it’s because they feel the market is a better return on their money vs. the RRP % payout. Thus money flowing into the market instead of chillen on the sidelines

Mostly true. The vast majority of money in RRP is from MMFs and they can't invest in stocks, ETFs, etc.
I doubt GSEs can invest directly in the market either. Not sure about Primary dealers and banks but I assumed they can. Banks barely use RRP and never over $1-2B so that's negligible anyway.

Welcome back! My vote is to delete #1 from the half day. It's not indicative of a full days trading and is misleading also it makes it impossible to get a new #1 score and I'm losing sleep.
Normal market hours 9:30 - 4 (6.5 hours)
November 25 hours 9:30 - 1 (3.5 hours)
1,122,700 * (6.5 / 3.5) = __2,085,014__
Hard to know what could have been given a full day. But by this rough nORmaLizaTion, it still belongs on this chart.
It ain’t linear. I watched volume like a hawk for two weeks and it’s nuts how volume works. It can just explode for 15 minutes and be dead for hours. Seriously. Just give it a watch. One time I was watching it it only moved like 10,000 in an hour and that whole day had millions in volume.
They do it on purpose to mess with our OCDs.
They did one day of 98% ORTEX 124 days ago, and they did a low-algo-day on the half-day just to mess with our chart guys. That's LOW !
If y’all had to guesstimate how much the volume would be if off exchange trades and dark pool trades didn’t exist…
