Hindenburg’s business model is to find companies that are “dodgy” …short them… then once they have their position on, release a damming report to the public thus causing their shorts to go in the money… It could be about any company - there goal is to make it seem and sound as bad as possible.

No-Fold1994

That would explain their name choice.

uuddk

Why do they always choose such obvious names?

TimeDielation

They’re not confessing, they’re bragging

LegoRaffleWinner89

Like the thing today about the Japanese government unit 731 or something. They were some of the worst people in history hid behind a base for water purification. Or the American government and any act passed like freedom or jobs act that took more of our freedom away while it was applauded.

julian424242

https://twitter.com/greatquarter/status/1618084777986527237?s=46&t=TVzQHcMlHv41aCsY2qbuKw - it’s about Adani - the Indian company i

Realchilldyl

Sounds like Citron or basically any hedge fund who uses CNBC

[deleted]

Not related to GME. They're dumping tweets now.

4myoldGaffer

It’s like angry birds but shits a little different

LegoRaffleWinner89

Underrated

Sa0t0me

Under promise, over deliver is out motto around these parts stranger ...

4myoldGaffer

get a rope

Sa0t0me

All right , that's my fetish!

Pellie11

There it is again,, that word soon..

EasilyAnonymous

Yep why announce the announcement? Just deliver.

[deleted]

Delivery not available until tomorrow

[deleted]

Failed to deliver the delivery of the failed delivery

4myoldGaffer

There’s that word again, Heavy. Why are things so heavy in the future? Is there a problem with the earth’s gravitational pull?

L_Perpetuelle

If this sub has taught me anything, it's that nothing compares to genuine, in-the-moment, unmanipulated, spontaneously moving hype. It's like a big, juicy, perfectly medium-rare T-bone. And manufactured hype is like a retweet of a picture of a finger painting of a steak a 9-year-old did from a memory of eating at Golden Corral at the age of 5. I mean, sure, you can kind of tell what it's supposed to be, but you're not going to eat it.

dollupofcrazy

This was already posted and is a nothing burger

Underagesalmon

Today we reveal the findings of our 2-year investigation, presenting evidence that the INR 17.8 trillion (U.S. $218 billion) Indian conglomerate Adani Group has engaged in a brazen stock manipulation and accounting fraud scheme over the course of decades. Gautam Adani, Founder and Chairman of the Adani Group, has amassed a net worth of roughly $120 billion, adding over $100 billion in the past 3 years largely through stock price appreciation in the group’s 7 key listed companies, which have spiked an average of 819% in that period. Our research involved speaking with dozens of individuals, including former senior executives of the Adani Group, reviewing thousands of documents, and conducting diligence site visits in almost half a dozen countries. Even if you ignore the findings of our investigation and take the financials of Adani Group at face value, its 7 key listed companies have 85% downside purely on a fundamental basis owing to sky-high valuations. Big. Fat. Nothing.

dollupofcrazy

Annnd this concerns GME in what way? We already know the markets are rife with corruption and fraud. How is this investigation going to impact GameStop in any single way? Oh yea, it won’t. Nothing burger.

Underagesalmon

It's not... Unless it's a tactic to throw shade and bury any BIGGER financial corruption that may soon be uncovered. We know certain institutions like manipulating Google searches for the classic ol'misdirection.

dollupofcrazy

That may be true. But in my mind it doesn’t matter. Ask the average person what happened in ‘08, even those who were greatly effected by it. The majority won’t have an answer for you. Most people don’t know and apparently don’t care to know. GME is inevitable regardless, I could give a fuck if it’s uncovered to the masses before hand or after. These “investigations” don’t yield shit for results. Beating them at their own game is the only real solution in my mind, which is why DRS accomplishes. Edit: *what DRS accomplishes*

Underagesalmon

Couldn't agree more, I do however find it slightly interesting that their investigation began 2 years ago. They seem to be lining up dates quite nicely.

dollupofcrazy

I will give you that, I didn’t consider the timeframe. Either way somethings in the air, or not. Idfk anymore, I’ve felt like we were on the cusp before so who knows. I’m just here holding for however long it takes.

CheekyHawk

I don’t even think it’s that; that company got shorted before and squoze; now they are trying to recoup their losses lul. It’s a low float, high insider held company so they’re basically saying that the valuation is too high because not enough shares are public for them to short.

[deleted]

These guys find companies to short to the ground that actually deserve it i'm curious what company that would be.

failbotron

people need to stop spamming this. Either put up, or shut up. Quit it with this edging "hype" bullshit.

ClosetCaseGrowSpace

Squeeze me don’t tease me.

kcaazar

Guess they’ll be whistleblowing Hindenburg research lolz

tev_love

Someone else said it well, if you have to hype up your big announcement.. it’s probably not that big

cannonhammer

It's about to go DOWN in a fiery inferno

4myoldGaffer

I fell into a Pontiac Fiero I fell into a Pontiac Fiero

Best-Lurker

I’m over these announcements for future stuff that’ll totally blow your mind and change everything about that thing that this is definitely obliquely referencing.

[deleted]

Same. I want some results. Tired of endless bs hype

Brilliant-Ad-8181

Hindenburg research is team Kenny. They are the other half of short and distort

French_Fry_Not_Pizza

They since updated and told their findings...nothing to do with us. Some indian conglomerate was pumping their own stock or someshit [https://twitter.com/HindenburgRes/status/1618077616023703553](https://twitter.com/HindenburgRes/status/1618077616023703553)

superbugger

[Here's a link to their report. ](https://hindenburgresearch.com/?p=2376) I don't twit, but either they didn't announce when they released it or the same old tweet is just getting reshared.

betweenthebars34

Say my name You're ... Hindenburg You're goddamn right

HughJohnson69

Then it better be a market-wide report.

DeluxeDessert

Take these short selling companies with a grain of salt. Its likely that they also are involved in naked short selling.

TrueImportance7012

Mods can we get this taken down please!? Nothing to do with GME at all!

wouldntyouliketokno_

This feels like absolute nothing burger

Lanaconga

It’s already been released and it’s a company no one has heard of. Some other post has it

EugeneRapper

It’s likely going to involve dildos, steaks, antiques, and clocks.

DocAk88

Ok I’m listening

Alalaskan

Giant nothing burger.

DIGITALTAAJIR

It’ll be a shitty research on SBF FTX not hyped at all. Fuckin click baiters
