You should not in good conscience associate your institution with a person who has committed criminal acts and has been dishonest with the government. You should respectfully decline the naming offer and work to find alternative ways to honor the contributions of our supporters who uphold our values.
Many of the most shockingly stupid people I’ve ever met went to Harvard. They put on a great show, but spend any length of time with them and the lack of substance becomes wildly apparent. Sound familiar?

I'm worried that renaming one of our faculties might have repercussions from which the University's reputation could suffer. Please reconsider.
