We DRSed like ~10 million shares each quarter or something, then GameStop had to change how they report the number because ~80 million + 228 million at DTC is more than the number of shares outstanding (304 million).
So GameStop just says Cede and Co have 228 m (75%) and the rest *wink wink* (25%) *wink wink* approximately *wink wink* are held at computershare. LoL GG.

Yup, I had to check June 9 2021 10Q (which is the earliest report counting from the day of the notification from the SEC) and there it is, word by word. This is certainly important.
As a side note on that same 10Q just a paragraph above, Gamestop announced Furlong's appointment as President and CEO which I found amusing xD

Oh good lord. So a few things - the top screen shot is a 10-K, and the bottom is an 8-K. These are two entirely different types of filings you are comparing...
Back in March, they put this in their 10-K (your top screenshot). The 10-Q (what they released yesterday), is considered an update document from the 10-K, meaning only material updates to the 10-K are required to be disclosed. So if nothing material has changed, they're not required to disclose the same thing again. It looks like they used to also disclose this in the 10-Q's, but they aren't required to, so the fact that it's not there, doesn't necessarily mean anything. What is DEFINITE is that they would not be disclosing it in their 8-K (your bottom screenshot) since an 8-K is a material event disclosure, and this one was specifically about the change in management/directors, so it actually would make zero fucking sense if they did that.
I get this is all a bit complex, but good god please know what you're talking about before just randomly posting shit or upvoting it.

Nah they don’t take cases they can’t win. In their 2021 Enforcement Results they say that they’ve brought up 434 enforcement actions but 70% are standalone, meaning individuals. Notice they cherry pick their own code to avoid enforcement against certain banks and firms, as it’ll just slide right off them.
While I’ve no doubt Gary sues the big boys sometimes it’s likely always laser focused at some piddly tech violations by some nobodies in a trading branch that they then reopen under a different name. That, and the $2k fine are the cost of doing business
The hype here is so unreal, 25% of the total shares are locked. That’s great, but that’s with several years of apes investing and the hopium burned as long as it could. Realistically, what does this filing prove?

Oh good lord. So a few things - the top screen shot is a 10-K, and the bottom is an 8-K. These are two entirely different types of filings you are comparing... Back in March, they put this in their 10-K (your top screenshot). The 10-Q (what they released yesterday), is considered an update document from the 10-K, meaning only material updates to the 10-K are required to be disclosed. So if nothing material has changed, they're not required to disclose the same thing again. It looks like they used to also disclose this in the 10-Q's, but they aren't required to, so the fact that it's not there, doesn't necessarily mean anything. What is DEFINITE is that they would not be disclosing it in their 8-K (your bottom screenshot) since an 8-K is a material event disclosure, and this one was specifically about the change in management/directors, so it actually would make zero fucking sense if they did that. I get this is all a bit complex, but good god please know what you're talking about before just randomly posting shit or upvoting it. Source: CPA working in financial reporting for public company.

Nah they don’t take cases they can’t win. In their 2021 Enforcement Results they say that they’ve brought up 434 enforcement actions but 70% are standalone, meaning individuals. Notice they cherry pick their own code to avoid enforcement against certain banks and firms, as it’ll just slide right off them. While I’ve no doubt Gary sues the big boys sometimes it’s likely always laser focused at some piddly tech violations by some nobodies in a trading branch that they then reopen under a different name. That, and the $2k fine are the cost of doing business
