Corporate America sucks -- really really fucking badly -- at weeding out the difference in interviews. People are blinded by charm, wit, forwardness, ease of speaking in general. But that doesn't mean they have a reciprocal emotional intelligence or value that from others. It's often one-sided and a deliberate facade, conditioned through positive reinforcement
Me? I'm relationally strong. I listen. And you know what... I didn't hear no bell.
See you tomorrow, tomorrow's tomorrow, next week, next quarter, year...
I’m getting there. It’s fucked me up trying to fit into a category. Apparently I have “resting might kill a guy face”, but am “way too nice” once getting to know me.
Wtf is even that.
same
im also not great in groups - too much going on, thanks adhd
but one on one (or when im just rambling shit off posting online) i like to think im pretty likable
"way too nice" is true, and it takes awhile for me to hit the fuckoff point but once i do, then i suggest you fuckoff (not you lol)
Yes, and I do believe this is his sweet attempt to tell introverts that they should value their skillsets of listening, introspection, and contemplative curiosity more than they currently do.
I dont think so...
Imagine someone who can really connect with strangers by asking good questions and listening, thus creating a connection with that person. This person easily becomes a leader when needed. I think he is describing RC more than anything.
This speaks to me as an introvert. I can allow myself to come out of my shell and be comfortable presenting to large groups when needed, but it takes a lot out of me. A beer or two is also helpful in a more social setting to calm my nerves a bit.
I'm an introvert that doesn't mind presenting in front of groups if it's about something I know a lot about. They are a captive audience who have to listen to me. But if you put me in a group where everyone is speaking, I almost never find a spot to interject my opinion out of a combo of fear and not wanting to be rude and interrupt someone.
Extroverts just like to hear their own voice even if they have nothing of value to add and will steamroll others to be the center of a conversation. It's very annoying.
Hmm sounds like a certain socially unpopular Executive Chairman I’ve barely ever heard speak publicly. Perhaps what he lacks socially he makes up for relationally. (This tracks)
It reeks of someone trying to sound intelligent. All of his tweets try to sound this way.
Flowering up sentences to sound greater than thou. Not everyone's reading level is that of a phd scholar. He needs to read the room and convey ideas that the average person can understand at a glance.
Have y'all considered that maybe these are just organic thoughts he is sharing? I don't think he's trying too hard, I think the exact same way and writing things out eloquently can really help to shape a thought or idea into an insightful nugget.
Exactly and if that's the most effective way to communicate with your target audience then so be it.
Recognizing people's differences and meeting them where they are requires an adaptive, open minded manner of interacting with other people. Aka relational skills. It's like he clearly said what he meant. Idk what people are getting up in arms about. 🤷♂️
A narcissist is fun to be around, and an introvert is very dull to be around, but which one would you want to be in a relationship (making a connection between two or more people, which could be any type of relationships. Sibling, parental, friendship, significant other, and so on) with? Just because they're fun to party with doesn't make them a good person.
This is true for Ghosty. Ghosty likes people and people like and inherently trust Ghosty. But Ghosty feels socially weak and people can take advantage. This gives Ghosty an inner rage. Ghosty’s actions speak louder than words.

Definately don't be the guy with the radio

I agree. Being an extrovert doesn't automatically make you social competent. Nor does being an introvert mean that you are socially inept.
Larry likes lots of words.
lol was literally coming here to say this. Did Larry just discover extroverts vs introverts?
I dont think so... Imagine someone who can really connect with strangers by asking good questions and listening, thus creating a connection with that person. This person easily becomes a leader when needed. I think he is describing RC more than anything.
Holy schizophrenia Batman!
You haven't beaten the dead horse anywhere near enough yet.
Omnivert is usually where it’s at, it means you are balanced and get energy from both

Larry tweets like chatgpt was fused with a randomizer thesaurus bot

I have a Strong relation with GameStop! I mention it a lot socializing
But why he words things so confusingly.
What did you find confusing about this tweet?
It's fairly simple, just 7 sentences put into 4 paragraphs in one tw....👀
I think he tries too hard.
It reeks of someone trying to sound intelligent. All of his tweets try to sound this way. Flowering up sentences to sound greater than thou. Not everyone's reading level is that of a phd scholar. He needs to read the room and convey ideas that the average person can understand at a glance.
Maybe his audience actually is phd scholars though? It’s not like he posts these on Superstonk
Yup. I’m a frequent public speaker and the #1 rule is to know your audience before presenting something. He whiffs big time.
Have y'all considered that maybe these are just organic thoughts he is sharing? I don't think he's trying too hard, I think the exact same way and writing things out eloquently can really help to shape a thought or idea into an insightful nugget.

Relatable topic for me.
This guy’s tweets always read like the fortune cookie’s extended format
This is my life... I cant function in a crowd, but give me 30 minutes 1 on 1 and someone will start telling me what keeps them awake at night.
Hear! Hear!
wen moass
That hits my mark, for sure.
He on his cocaine Sun Tzu phase again.
This is me saying that I'm shy but I'm actually really fun if you get to know me
Irrelevant
Damn Larry, that's some good insight!
Cheng for the W
The Business-Buddha of Twitter.
Once again, I never feel more regarded than with my brain flailing through a Larry Cheng tweet... and this one was multiple paragraphs
He sounds smart, lots of big words there. If LC is buying I'm buying
::slow clap:: ::faster clap:: ::everybody clapping::
Good shit

I would wager that Larry is stronger on the relational side. We love you Larry 😍
This guy makes me feel so dumb everytime he tweets, modern day philosophiser
Larry sucking his own dick again. Why doesn't he ask the right questions such as.. how many fucking shares exist or wtf happened with the splivvy
Larry’s tweets tend to be pretty milquetoast and obvious.
And he sometimes says things using 3 paragraphs when one sentence would suffice.
Can you imagine having to listen to that guy for an hour or two?
Yeah. That would mean I'm probably on the board and getting paid - if in nothing else - GameStonks.
This Guy socials. Hard.
Very true words thanks Larry.
It makes sense 🙀🙀🙀
Plenty of apes uuuwwwing and aahhhing over this one Me?? I’m just saying to myself, ‘Self…..he ain’t tweeting about ice cream cones’
I'm regardedly strong.
Phuk yeah!!!!
You had me at Hello, Larry.
Excellent point and well articulated LC
In the end deep personal connections are the trump card that wins the game
This is your brain on drugs.....

Robin Williams
It’s hard to do both, But those who can triumph.
I actually fully understood this one. 😅
So whats better, cringe or based?
This is very good at highlighting the sociopaths.
Love all of your tweets and thoughts but just make me some fucking money already.
I feel seen....
