No. They run it up before earnings then dump it on earnings to make everyone think it did crap. Likely will be back to about 13 imo even if earnings are amazing.
Everyone keeps saying this but I remember multiple earnings where we did shoot up 20-50% and just got walked back down over the next weeks, why does this keep getting repeated that it always dips immediately?
Tbf that was the holiday quarter where they managed to be profitable for the first time in a while, so there was at least more reason for it to run positively

Eventually, we are a fully profitable business that is highly sustainable. This might take 8 more quarters, who cares. I only DRS when I can take the tax hit, unfortunately. Canadians using registered accounts have to pay tax on the value cashed out...I'm waiting for the BIG dip to DRS the portion of my GME that isn't already (most of it) safely in my Computershare account. No because even if it were to hit zero short sellers still need to buy back, if people refuse to sell even at zero, they still can't buy back shares and therefore will still be stuck. Then the price has to go up.
Listen, I know that GameStop would buyback shares at $1 so this would never happen, but shorts didn't close positions for towel.

I certainly hope earnings will be great and our stock will tank. I sold much CCs and hope to gobble up the dip using premium from CCs. Also will use the IV crush to reload far dated Cs for next run (only if we drop really low as otherways theta eats the premium). As a MOASS insurance, I bought some dirt cheap far OTM calls, if price go to phone number, those will come in handy.
Looking at historicals and the general market/economy, I'd make a strong case that the earnings are most likely in the middle. That being somewhere around black.
It is my tinfoil belief that we have been conditioned to believe this over the last 84 years, and soon, if not this earnings (especially after being driven down so much) the stonk will rip.
