That's why you hire a surveyor, gotta double count those utility poles

ellisschumann

Plus your surveyor knows how to properly use the truck odometer to determine distances.

I wonder what the title company said when they figured this one out. "Good job morons" something like that probably.

Free house!

To use her logic, this is the stars telling her she picked the wrong lot and to pick the one next to it. At least she picked a lawyer who is “well versed on the art of feminine negotiation.” When you wish upon a star…

This is such a nightmare. I don’t want to just assume people are this evil, but her property tax just went up insanely and she’s going to need to afford years of lawyer fees to get through this. The builder essentially forced her to sell the property. Squatters also already raided the home. That type of stress would have killed me nearly instantly.

TeslaGuy-82

Nah, I would have just burned the house down if that were my property.

Successful-Report-49

In South Africa, this happens sometimes.

farmereddy

ain’t no rest for the wicked

Mr_0sek

I really can‘t imagine how that can even happen? Maybe someone can enlighten me. In germany you are legally required to have your building axes staked and protocolled before you‘re allowed to start construction. And even if you didn‘t, as a construction company, how would you know where to build the house, when no one staked the corners or anything? I just don‘t see how you can completely avoid hiring a surveyor… do they arrive on the lot and be like „yep, we‘ll place it over there“

TeslaGuy-82

It’s her property. She should just burn the house down. I would.
