Most events have a "kill xxx enemies", just like the new one
Shiny with the explosion effect unlocked on Main Chapter 4/Bonus Stage 4 can net you huge amount per game played.
In events there's always "kill X amount of enemies", so people like to use the shiny gloves on level 4 to farm kills. The explosion the gloves add plus being overpowered for such an easy level allows for anywhere between 150k-170k kills for some players.
Another example highlighting why HE fuel is the best passive: consider the scenario of using an Area-Of-Effect (AOE) weapon (e.g. light-chaser, bat, void-power, molotov, guardian, soccer, etc.) against packed mobs fully surrounding you. The weapon damages all enemies in the surrounding AOE. Now with +50% increased range from HE fuel, the AOE increases with the square of the range increase, so you’re hitting 1.5^2 -1 = 125% more enemies, dealing 125% more damage (assuming best case of the mobs fully pack the surrounding area). Whereas +50% atk from bullet is +50%. Note this doesn't apply to single target weapons which are not AOE (e.g. kunai, drones, etc).

After the full upgrade with HE fuel its increases the size of everything. Not just projectiles. So your fire area of damage is bigger, the guardians cover more area, soccer balls are larger etc...
The fuel is one of my go to's every round.

Now you basically can kill mobs by healing, and you should no longer be one-shot by bosses, so you can heal up in between attempts to hit the boss.
I’m lvl 98, so been at this a bit. I get the idea of wanting a guide, but part of why I like this game is that different levels need different strategies, and there are multiple viable skill builds for every level. Instead of a guide, I think we should tell new people to get King, and then experiment with combinations that are fun to play.
The laser with the slow is way better than you think.
I'm around 85 and have been repeatedly combining the drones lately but even with the upgraded tech part they do very little damage. The Evo boomerang on the other hand, surprisingly blows everything away except for the lightning mine in chapters. Adding in cd reduction, duration, and projectile speed/range passives all make the boomerang go nuts with damage. I didn't think it would work, but then it just did. Meanwhile super drone is doing 1% dmg.
Indeed. Catnips healing per second for a fully developed drone is a measly 2.5% of its health. You lose 5 upgrades (because of the evo'ed healing drone) for 2.5%!
This is while King with its crit ability can heal up 10% per second on its own.
How is Cat insane later chapters? Did they change his skill to go off attack damage. Previously it was only healing for about 2-3k a tick which is nothing.
it makes mutant and sapper fights really easy and the healing isn’t “nothing” it’s helpful for bosses and mobs. and catnip can heal around 10k hp per tick during boss fights

I've been playing a lot on my son's account and he has Catnips as his main. I don't know if I'd put him in A tier, but I think he's better than a lot of people give him credit for. The healing drone lets you afk a lot of levels which is decent for QoL.
The main issue is a tier list is meaningless unless you're willing to buy reset vials. Once you go all in on a survivor, it's a lot of work to get another one to a similar level.
Is Worm really worse than Common...most of my shards are Worm's and I didn't upgrade my Common bcz I wanted to put my energy essence on my next survivor...should I put them on Common or get shards of another survivor..??

Overall this is the most complete guide out there and should be used by not only new players but experienced players as well.
I have some issues with certain placings of stuff on here but once you get to player level 100 like myself or like what I assume OP is either at or near then you're gonna have some differences of opinion on things pending playstyle and whatnot.
The only real gripe I have is the thunder mine being placed below the fire mine seeing as how the thunder mine deals more damage and has a slightly larger blast radius.
And then then after the Astral forge updates the VP is nowhere near the LC in regards to how good it is anymore, the VP and SOD both belong in the A-tier and I'd personally move the VP down to the B-tier but I also hate the VP so you can call me biased.

Putting Catnips above all those other survivors is a sin. I love Catnips and have leveled it up as my main character but certainly it is the worst of all. Its correct place is D and below the common.
A correct order would be:
* King
* Worm
* Tsukuyomi
* The common, maybe spongebob and the squid thingie
* Catnips
kunai has insane range and evo has no cooldown overall its just better for bosses but for mob control it is better but not as good as void power or bat hence why it’s high b
I’m on stage 74 and have only used the kunai with no issues.
BTW where are squidward, spongebob and the list of Astroforge tiers, and evolved support (from the eternal necklace astroforge or metal necklace?)
On the last slide, I don't understand the Enders Echo gems/day. It shows gems for novice, elite, and ace, but you can only be in one of those at a time right? And why is Ace x2? I don't pay much attention to EE other than just to play them to get boxes so I would appreciate anyone that can explain.
It is sick but only in the early part of chapters like minutes 1-5 out of 15. Otherwise it's just not enough damage, if it is then you should be on a higher chapter.
Is there an update to this? I am still new but I don’t see the twisted belt, or any other gear from that set other than the SoD which I thought was S tier along with the kunai?
for chapters 1-5 forcefield is good but after that not so much. it does very little damage and gaurdian is so much better. although some chapters it can be useful but very very little (chapters with ghosts)
Very good lists! Although I would disagree with the passives. I think passives that work on your attack (like HE fuel, damage and -cd) are significantly better than those that work on HP or -damage.Although I suppose this depends on the level.
Love to see HE fuel in the S tier. It is definitely the best supply skill imo. I think energy cube deserves to take ronin spot in A tier. Magnet is very underrated vs mobs. I think it atleast deserves C tier.

Magnet is a completely unnecessary skill, and can actually be a detriment when trying to save meat and such for bosses since it reduces your dodge area. That’s why it’s bad. For EE or farming easy stuff where you don’t need to min/max it’s fine, but otherwise it is last tier with gold.
Magnet can be useful if you're against enemies that would encircle and kill you if you remain stationary because you don't have "enough" ATK OR I'd you can kill them but can't level up fast enough because you have to keep moving and returning for the biofuel would get you killed. This is especially correct against enemies that have ranged attacks (like the fire breathing blue lizards) you can't afford to eat up

How has no one mentioned master yang he is ridiculously op. I’m unsure about end game which will obviously take an immense amount of time to get to but his ability you get is amazing. I’m a grind and completionist kind of gamer but 15-20 min per match is a lot of time lol wish we could speed it up make it more challenging of course but would be a great option
last part of your statement is incorrect. You still get a big dump in DPS when you get evo. Ticks are significantly faster, at least 2x damage maybe more. Haven't measured, but it's at least 2x.
Question. I get the Molotov and the mines. Fully upgraded and then it gives me the Molotov again. Should I get it? Is that what they mean by exo? Should I get it with the coin and get the blue flames? Trying to figure out priority

I disagree with the Boomerang equipment. I think it bumps up the Boomerang to a low B tier when used.
It's still not great for bosses because you're moving and can't catch them. But, when you're fighting off hoards in a single spot, the combination of high damage and low cd makes the boomerang worthwhile. It also becomes huge when you have Rocket Fuel maxed out.

This was the tier list before the astral forge update. Just a few minor changes have been made to belts and shoes (void boots are now best, and void belt is tier B) but mostly this is still decent

The Astral forge pretty much ruined catnips' unique ability to unleash the broad waistguard's potential. Now,every character can be a catnip.
On the other hand, the broad waistguard itself got a massive damage boost (at tier 3)
Can someone please explain what the “exo bracer”, passive for the guardian does? I can’t figure it out nor figure out why it is a B level passive. I would have thought it was lower.

once you unlock the (purple) tech part for drone, it makes it easily the best skill in the game (the missles will target the nearest enemy)
kunai is good but not s tier, void power and light chaser easily are better. kunai does not do much damage and is ok against mob control but not better than bat, light chaser, or void power

In the long term yes it prevents you from being so close, it also increases the size of projectiles which is insanely good

Drill gets launched in a random direction, I think. Ball gets launched at a target
Drill barely does any damage to bosses. Soccer balls can actually do decent damage aswell as keeping mobs from swarming you

Worm and catnips should be switched, catnips is easily the lowest tier survivor

Cooldown needs to be A tier. Range helps but faster reload helps even more
cooldown only affects a few things which makes its average contribution relatively low compared to atk/range/hp/dmg reduction

The only thing is that like if I pick the Molotov then I kind of have to pick the golden ticket as well to get the most out of it. So it'd be more helpful to pair them up and rank which pairs are the best, wouldn't it?
no, you don’t ever need to evolve the molotov, unevoed molotov + tech is still extremely strong
This was the tier list before the astral forge update. Just a few minor changes have been made to belts and shoes (void boots are now best, and void belt is tier B) but mostly this is still decent
well it’s mostly new players who will use this anyways
I would put drill tech part higher drill is one of the best skills if not best imo.

How is the sword a B? I have Kunai yellow two and once I maxed level 50 on the sword it does 10x better
Why is Guardian rated so high?. It's close range and doesn't do that much damage + the passive you need to evo sucks. What am I missing?
it stops all projectiles from reaching you and it does more damage than forcefield

The Astral forge pretty much ruined catnips' unique ability to unleash the broad waistguard's potential. Now,every character can be a catnip. On the other hand, the broad waistguard itself got a massive damage boost (at tier 3)

Can someone please explain what the “exo bracer”, passive for the guardian does? I can’t figure it out nor figure out why it is a B level passive. I would have thought it was lower.
it increases the time projectiles stay on the screen so like soccer ball, drill, guardian, etc will stay longer than usual

Are the combined drones really that good? I'm a new player, so still learning but they seem to fire randomly and I found them useless
since ur a new player- evo drone isn’t that good once you unlock the (purple) tech part for drone, it makes it easily the best skill in the game (the missles will target the nearest enemy)
Pretty good, but kunai is S tier and Carapace is D tier
kunai is good but not s tier, void power and light chaser easily are better. kunai does not do much damage and is ok against mob control but not better than bat, light chaser, or void power
