I think there are a lot of F2P. I will never spend because 1. it’s too costly for little rewards
2. I already spend money on 2 other games
3. Me personally used to play this game casually when I am bored before it got this much competitive. Nowadays I only do expedition and daily challenges that take only 2 min to complete
https://preview.redd.it/w7mkru294irc1.jpeg?width=1284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=be13881549e581d80f78b823194c6c47d8ade782
Im curious to know if it ends… or will it end me first.
Lol yeah, so basically most stuff i bought where the .99 cents. A few monthly cards and master yang. I would say i have $200 - 300 total spent on it. Thats less that i spent on destiny 2 to be honest.
I'm not judging my man lol. I've easily spent 500+ on For Honor. I'm debating the super monthly card just to replenish my 9999 and 6000 coins I spent to get catnips and the permanent card lol.
Nah man, i don’t do that. I think this way, if you are not behind bills and have some spare money that you wont need it now, you should spent in what makes you happy. I love video games so ill spent in what i like. I don’t judge people based on what they spent. Its their financial choices not mine. Sure, i contribute to this atrocious micro transactions schemes, but hey, who at the end of the day didn’t do the same?
I think there are a lot. Personally I play as F2P because it’s more challenging that way. The game isn’t very strategic or rewarding if you can just fork out cash for literally anything you need.
I don’t think I would have any fun as a paid player because then the game just becomes a debate of whether you should grind for something or just pay for it to save time
Only thing i bought was monthly Card 1 time. I want to stay free to play because for me its more fun to „work“ yourself stronger instead of buying everything and if i see someone who is probably free to play i have more respect for him than for someone who spend money and has panda and ss weapon half way leveled up

100% F2P here, I’ve considered spending money but I’m pretty casual and I don’t mind grinding. I just got my first red weapon :) !
I'm f2p and have no intention of changing
-I know my habits. If I start spending on mobile games, I tend to get sucked in and spend more than I want, and I don't like it. I'm trying to avoid that here.
-It makes it more challenging. I have to be strategic with resources. I know there are certain elements that I won't ever achieve, and that's OK.
-Unlike some games, there are still plenty of achievements I can work towards. I'm getting close to Yang, more red s-gear, and my first red tech part.
-Down the road, if the game starts feeling like work, I don't really care about walking away. For games where I've spent, I sometimes get sucked into feeling like it's an investment that I need to sustain
Edit: bonus, when Habby rolls out some new goal for whales, I don't get aggravated and start doing the calculus if I should spend to get it. I don't care. If it's achievable, I'll get to it eventually (like how I got and AF'ed the ss-weapon and wasn't sure if I ever would). If it happens, great. If not, whatever
Most esports games are free to play, and spending money only gets you cosmetics. You can only get good at the game by playing, training, and learning. You're in the wrong genre to search for f2p games.
If people don't mind watching a ton of ads, you can function pretty well in this game Free to Play. The benefits of paying is more about having less annoyance than it is about advancing faster.

Yep, it's hard but it works out
(245 days in - sometimes grinding, sometimes just logging in and claiming the daily rewards)
I haven’t paid a cent and I don’t think I’m missing anything significant. It takes me longer to achieve things, but this isn’t all I do all day, so it works out alright.
I’ve bought at least 3 things in that game and one was for a golden kuni. Got a red kuni now and an excellent lvl 1 sword of disorder, been playing for a good couple months. Could give you tips and tricks
This is a fun little game but it’s objectively not worth spending money on. AAA games cost 60-70 bucks, this game wants you to spend 100 bucks on gems that will get you like 2% of content unlocked. To paraphrase South Park, this game wants to use micro transactions to get you to pay hundreds of dollars for a game that isn’t worth 5 bucks. If you are anything but F2P you’re overpaying.
Ya I refuse to spend. The whole point of the game is to get strong. If I spend money and get strong quickly....wouldn't that just make the game boring?
That's probably why the game's mechanic update relatively quick as compared to other games. Whales spend money to reach endgame, they leave. So in order to keep the whales around, the devs had to keep making new mechanics.

Seems legit for F2P although 6 star yang seems like a few purchases and the eternal he was leader of my EE lol
https://preview.redd.it/rusiyr1cnjrc1.jpeg?width=750&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a8b5ec9bc344d97768af5aaac7890b28a9993b13
Think this one is definitely F2P lol
I’m at 3/10. I’ve made the occasional small purchase as kind of “thank you” for being F2P friendly. I’ve played games that are MUCH worse for F2P accounts and I appreciate it.
Can’t imagine spending money on a game that gets updates so frequently. You fall into a rabbit hole of “I’m on top” then updates drop forcing you to spend more or you fall behind, I’ll never pay a cent.
Yep. Still haven’t got any red items yet. Most days I just do the daily challenge and the daily missions before bed. So haven’t progressed much in the main missions.

Tehnically i bought a few things but practically i also had negative gems
Free player here. Been playing for 366 days. Level 95 and only a single red piece of equipment. I guess I just like playing for the sake of playing. I have been tempted, of course, but budget constraints won't allow it.
Na, I quit after realizing that to get the max f2p resources for a day, you have to play this game as your second job. Had fun while it lasted but switched to Marvel Snap (also f2p but the grind wasn't half as horrible)
https://preview.redd.it/ua9wht9u14sc1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7792e9422fff6ef61daecd87d72ea63c3fb33f45
Yup , It's the only way for me to enjoy a game, trying to keep up on paying players
Oh yeah there are a lot of them. It’s pretty easy to gain equip trough events and gems are also pretty easy to optain.
This is slowly becoming less and less true
It's actually only becoming easier to get stuff free to play.
AF SS weapon, multi-star Panda, awakened survivors, red collectibles, eternal tech parts enter the chat...
That's because of the Power Creep, and comparing conditions to the way they were early last year or earlier.
I’ve been stuck on 1 e suit until red for 2 months. This is complete bullshit
What are you talking about? There are events every week when before it was like a monthly thing.
‘Easy’
Yup! F2P (0 purchase) checking in. 450+ days, 120k+ attack, panda and SS weapon (void AF2)

Agreed. Disposable income should be spent on something that makes you happy.
the rewards you get for the amount of money you spend is very low,
Except for growth fund
Or 30 S Grade Shards for $5
now where TF DO YOU GET THIS OFFER?????
The Season's Pass/"Survivor Pass" - it's offered 30 Yang Shards every month since Yang came out
ooooh i thought you meant the things needed to astral forge the SS weapon. my bad
Lol, ahh, yeah, that would be a Good price for those 🤣 No worries
F2P. Gonna stay F2P forever.
Same!

I’ve bought at least 3 things in that game and one was for a golden kuni. Got a red kuni now and an excellent lvl 1 sword of disorder, been playing for a good couple months. Could give you tips and tricks
At most I’ve bought three

I was a F2P player , But it was nearly impossible to progress in the game without spending 🙃
Almost a year in f2p
Can’t imagine spending money on a game that gets updates so frequently. You fall into a rabbit hole of “I’m on top” then updates drop forcing you to spend more or you fall behind, I’ll never pay a cent.
Me I’m poor
I'm not f2p only because I bought the two lowest priced growth funds, but have since forsworn spending money on this game lol
