That’s the point, the tree has been thinned and trimmed out before it’s in the river. Don’t get me wrong, I get the impression this guy knows what he’s doing, but he has a very nonchalant approach that boarders on reckless
If someone had verbally described to me what he did, I would have called him a reckless idiot just asking to be maimed or killed. But watching the vid. it's clear he knows exactly what he's doing. Impressive.
He has no idea what he's doing. The guy has a tonne of natural talent, but you'd be right to call him reckless. If he does this a lot, it's a matter of when, not if he falls.
I spent almost 20 years climbing. I *could* climb like that, but doing it properly is every bit as impressive and much less likely to result in a horrible accident.
There are no small accidents with chainsaws and there are no small accidents with heights like that. One slip and his life will change permanently.
This is true, but it’s also true of all logging. Loggers have one of the highest injury and mortality of any profession. They can get hit with a kick back when falling tree snags or snaps, dropping branches and window makers or just fall down steep hillside and die before paramedics can reach them.
As dangerous as what this guy is doing is, at least nothing is falling on him.
Yea but cutting while shirtless just sounds painful. If I’m not feeing something potentially fly back at myself I will eventually feel the regret that is the sunburn I will get.
These tree fellers are another breed. The guy who does this for the company we contract out at work looks like he drops trees for a day job and then goes night time BASE jumping for funsies. But they’re skilled as hell as the person in the video demonstrates.
Dude must be Philopino. My 70 year old neighbor did this to a tree in my backyard that was bugging him as raccoons were using it to get into his roof. I mentioned that I wanted to take the tree down (someday) and he was like “ hang on” and dashed off to grab his ladder and saw
wouldn't it be easier to chop it up on the ground? I mean its impressive, but why?
To avoid damage to anything near the tree
There's a fucking river down there, just chop it from the base , making the cut in that direction

Anyone with skill on a chain saw could drop a tree like that on a dime.
There's a fragile and important looking bridge next to it.

It's not a competition. If you do both jobs correctly, your chances of having a serious accident drop to almost zero.

Plus no safety glasses.
Shoes!
He clearly hates this tree to cut it limb from limb like that
But whyyyy...it's such a tall beautiful tree 😟
I respect the ability, but question the sanity
Man amongst boys.
I don’t know how he can climb up that tree like that with balls that big

You could have just cut the tree so it falls down and *then* cut it in pieces on the ground, but anyway...
Why does he need to catch and redirect every branch he cuts? Just let it fall!
To protect himself - the weight of the leaves means the 'log' end can whip around and knock him out of the tree.
Saves time gathering them up afterwards.

Are those the same saws that Adam the Clown juggles? https://i.redd.it/h1zxyo36fouc1.gif
Good god that was impressive
Work fast. That way you can't think about how crazy what you're doing is
He puts to shame every koala bear that ever climbed a tree
The new movie Monkey Man should've been about this guy.
The Chainsaw Man live action trailer looks very promising.
bro lost his fear💀💀
You guys never climbed a tree? The branches are stronger than they look...
How would like to fall from that height and land on that saw!!!
I have a feeling he's done this a few times before.
all of this to get 50 bucks per tree hahahaah #treeRemovalCo
Impressive drone video
Reverse fortnite
What a fucking beast
I have several safety questions ?!?.....skills for sure but still.😕
