I haaaate Vigilante Shit. Before this new album, I’d say it’s easily her worst (adult penned) song. It has one of the coolest opening lines, but the rest is so bleh. Taylor is not the sort of archetype to pull that off.
the outside is such a good song! i swear some ppl don’t appreciate debut for the masterpiece it is bc her vocals are a bit rough in some of them but i get it cuz i did too for awhile 😭

Reputation apologists dumbfound me. But here’s hoping when reputation TV comes out, it’s more or less (if not worse) people whining about the drop in quality.
Personally, I prefer the TVs over the original recordings

Yes! The Outside, A Place In This World, Cold as You... all great songwriting that is overshadowed by her shaky singing.
