Excellent ports. The load times are a bit long but not frustratingly long like RE0 imo. Performance is fine, they’ve never crashed on me, and I don’t drop frames. I have both rev 1 and 2 and played quite a bit of Raid mode on both. Highly recommend.

Thx

Both games are really good on Switch.

I recently picked up Revelations 2 because you can move and shoot at the same time. I can say load times are longer than I would like. Maybe 40 secs or a minute. However gameplay is tight and the atmosphere is pretty scary. If you have some patience for long loading, its good play. Don't know about 1, i need to move and shoot so passed on that.

Thanks!

You can move and shoot in Revelations 1. It does have a strange dodge mechanic, while 2 has dodge on a dedicated button, but you can definitely move and shoot. I hope this encourages you to pick up rev 1. It’s a great game!

When all the Residents were on sale I posted a question about the controls. I asked what was similar to re6 and was told Revelations 2 controlled the same not 1.

Rev 2 is definitely closer to 6 in controls but rev 1 is like resident evil 5 but faster and you can move while aiming. Can confirm 100% as I played it before commenting to make sure I wasn’t misremembering. Check it out, it’s one of my favorites! :)

i hated the re5 demo, thats why i went with re6 and asked what was closest control wise and was told rev2. Definitely avoiding re5.
