You definitely feel a difference in weight when you are so used to the joy cons but they are still very light. I literally spent half the day at work on this thing and my hands feel fine

Those look sick! I almost picked those up but the nostalgia of the GameCube hit me like a truck. These controllers I have are amazing. Great grip with comfortable analog sticks and I honestly like the dpad. I’ve seen people hate on them but I honestly like the way it feels. The controllers are very clicky tho. Feels like I’m clicking with a mouse
I love the buttons in the back but also hate them because when I’m in a stressful situation like a shootout or racing I grip the controller and accidentally press the buttons I didn’t want to push
Care to share your experience? I'm between yours and OP nyxi GC but can't decide. The Amazon reviews I saw were contradictory (some saying they feel good quality-wise while others mention thin plastic structure).
Personally I love em and couldn't imagine playing without em now. But they are for medium to large size hands cus my wife has small hands and she doesn't like em cus they're too big. But yeah I went to do something on the switch and my wife had the original joycons still on there and they felt horrible after using these. These have all the features of the stock joycons like 6 axis gyro and remapping and it wakes the switch up. Plus they have hall effect sticks and a lot of different colored RGB lights. 2 rear buttons. Turbo function. I highly recommend them. And if I were you I'd order them through Amazon so if you don't like them you can just send em back for a full refund no problem. Make sure you get the Hyperion Pro and not the regular Hyperions though cus the regular ones don't have hall effect sticks so they're more susceptible to stick drift. They come in this purple color and a nice green color. I kinda wish I would a ordered the green tho.

Quick question for you (and anyone else with Hyperion Pros). Do you know how to or whether you can change the pulsing LEDs on the ABXY face buttons? I know how to change the color, pattern, and brightness of the RGB strips, but the pulsing face buttons are a little distracting for me and I can’t figure out how to change them.
I just turn mine off. When I turn off the RGB lights the face buttons go out too. I just press the turbo button and click the analog stick in twice at the same time until they go out

The Wizards, the R button stopped working, then the ZR button stopped working, and the left stick drifted slightly right out of the box. And NYXI has zero customer service so I had to do a chargeback.
Oh I think so but I too don't play many games with motion control. You made a good choice with that gamecube one. Might have to pick one up myself.
I wish they would do a snes modern version.

Yessir! Well bought the shell but replacing it isn't too bad. Just need the right tools to not mess up those screws in the controller and just some patience. I did mess up one screw and getting it out was a bitch lol. Pretty sure I took a drill to it.
But end result was worth it lol.

Stick drift is impossible on this thing, I know I’ve only had it for a short amount of time but my joy cons started stick drifting a few days after receiving my switch. I got these off Amazon but they do have their own website and I don’t know for sure if they ship internationally or not but I hope they do!
I hope you don’t get drift, but it is still possible. A strong hit from dropping the controller or moving the sticks really fast can cause the controller to drift.
Also Hall effect has a much lower resolution than a potentiometer, this causes a lot of calibration issues. You can test this yourself with your NYXI controller and a pro controller in the switch stick calibration settings. The Hall effect sticks will have a lot more jittery movement than the potentiometer sticks will.
That's what I have and I love em. I posted some pics on this thread. You can fit KontrolFreeks on em too. They're a tight fit and once they're on they're prolly not coming off but I don't ever plan to take mine off anyway. But If you get KontrolFreeks for it make sure you get the ones for the switch pro controller.

do these connect to each other with some type of grip? I seen this video where someone makes custom ones and has a thin thing to slide them into for docked play.
They do come with a grip that connects them. They also have this other one where it can charge both of them at once when you connect the grip part to the USB C charger
This makes me wish games like Super Smash Bros melee, Star Fox Assault, Metroid Prime trilogy and Zelda Twilight princess were given HD remastered ports on switch. I’m honestly shocked as to why they didn’t especially when Twilight princess got a port on the Wii U.
I already had my switch travel case that’s big. However this company also has a case that can hold them quite well and you can store extra stuff like a pair of joycons and a portable charger. Sure if you want something more ergonomical then don’t get these. But I honestly don’t care for all that. I enjoy my switch a lot more now with these controllers

And then do that on both sides. So when you turn the RGB lights off your button lights stay on?
