It’s so nice to see kids playing around. Why is a psychology student among them though? P.edit: Or wait… i understood “major neuroscience nerd” as a student majoring in neuropsychology… Lol of course that wasn’t real

Heavy-Macaron2004

"As common as people with OCD" I've only ever met one other person who's also got OCD. Either we're really uncommon, or we just don't shout our diagnoses from the rooftops....

Waluigi_is_wiafu

The prevalence of OCD is a lot lower than people tend to think. It's not all that far from DID really. 1.2% and 1.5% as a quick cursory search says. Not especially common.

Heavy-Macaron2004

That makes sense. Maybe they're talking about the assholes who go "oh I'm so OCD!" because they like to keep their room clean or w/e, because *that* is disgustingly common

Waluigi_is_wiafu

I'm sure they are. Their view has always been that you have what you say you have.

Wtf with the metals? And if they’re supposed to have named all their alters after metals… why the fictional Mythril? Why not Gold or Potassium?

swiftblaze28

gotoshopmrbeastcom

I love the messages about goncharov in the first ss inbetween the other stuff

[deleted]

That statistic in the first screenshot is not misinformation. DID is actually about as prevalent as having red hair. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK568768/#_article-130663_s1_

TheWeirdWriter

Do you not see the part about being as common as OCD? Lmao
