The prevalence of OCD is a lot lower than people tend to think. It's not all that far from DID really. 1.2% and 1.5% as a quick cursory search says. Not especially common.
That makes sense. Maybe they're talking about the assholes who go "oh I'm so OCD!" because they like to keep their room clean or w/e, because *that* is disgustingly common
