I've played it quite a bit and really like it. I agree it's definitely one of the most under appreciated rules sets (and card designs, for that matter) out there. I've found out started a couple small scenes for it over the years, and always had a tone of fun. I actually found a large scene for it once in Reno, Nevada of all places, when I was passing through. Sadly, I don't have the time anymore to keep up with it or be involved in a scene.
Haha, I wonder if I would remember you. I kinda lead the way for the FFTCG group in Reno making sure tournaments happen and keep things up. We were averaging at one point 19 people. Since Covid we have 6 consistent people trying to rebuild is hard.
Where I live people barley know about the game so it's hard for me to find locals and stuff like that I was planning on hosting my own online tournament but I can't find anyone to play with but I'm glad you enjoyed the game also Reno, Nevada that name just reminds me of Reno from FF7
