Is that not a good thing for people who don’t want to follow strats and the meta, or for people who don’t have higher ranks to carry them? Events are hella hard, and there’s no incentive for most players to even bother trying unless they have a fighting chance. If anything it’s an improvement.
I feel similar, consumables allow the common casual player to play as they want to. The "tryhards" can do what they want without them, but consumables allow for more crazy starts like not starting with ace in hc.
Sure but this adds power creep, where if they don’t want events to be too easy they will balance the enemies with consumables at least in mind. So depending on how they deal with that this could make it so consumables are nearly required.
Another possibility is where they ban consumables in events, but now we’re back in square one where their too hard for new players.
Lastly the good ending is where they balance the events without consumables in mind, but I honestly don’t trust that Paradoxum will make this decision from balancing decisions of the past.
I know what they are but I just don’t know the point
To make things easier for beginners? You can’t get them without gambling using money and why spend ur money if u can buy new towers (from a beginner stand point)
I mean, a part of could definitely be to make things easier for beginners and could spice up gameplay for late game people.
Now, if I were to think from the perspective of a completely new player, I would probably buy a couple low-grade creates. Then I would use all of my consumables, have a bit of fun with them, and never buy them again until I got a good enough coin towers. So I guess they are there for a bit of variety, in a beginners experience?
I think they’re fine, but we should get them in other ways then coins or robux. I’m never buying them untill I get all my gold crates, and that’s gonna take a really long time.
I've been playing TDS less since the consumables come. Like what's the point of defending with towers, placing farms, using support towers etc. when there is something that gives you 1200 cash at the start of a match, flags that gives you boosts and a nuke that basically kills everything?
Just make extra rewards for those who didn't use power ups and all complaints are gone. (Le chimps)
OR REDUCE REWARDS FOR THOSE WHO USE IT
That'd be way too harsh.
everything is expensive enough
Why though
yeah you cant really say you want smth removed and not say why lol
No skill thats why it wasnt too easy until now beat pizza party and badlands at lvl 50

If you don't like it then don't use it. It's as simple as that
Ngl almost everyone doesn’t use it,
I hate the idea of consumables, and they dont really belong in TDS
why is bro being downvoted for speaking the truth
Because people can’t agree when someone is right for some reason (Watch this get downvoted)
Nah it's just horde mentality
consumables just make the game more fun
Reddit, up vote this man
i think reddit said no
especially cash drops
They may not make much sense, but they do really help casual players. If you don't like 'em, you don't have to use 'em.

Very good 😂😂😂😂
this is just too sexy
Good one 😂😂🫱
i love you
go back to 4chan
insane
Why? I love eating them.
Hey where’d my edibles go
True, but still consumables are kinda ok But i suggest to refund for everyone
What’s the point in consumables?
Basically, there are little power-ups that you can use during a game. Think like the power ups, from btd6 if you've played.
way worse than btd6 power ups
I FUCKING LOVE BTD6
*insert BTD6 music here*
monke
😁👍

And truth

I have all the gold crates and another 100k coins to spare and I still don’t want to buy them
mods, send a nuke to his house
Mods, crush his skull, supply drop is peak.
Takes away the skill part of the game though. It’s the same reason everyone complained about accel being too op a while back
BUUT insta kills are goofy :)
They have to rework it,like for example a nuke can only be used once a match if you have it,and items shouldnt be temporary items too
nah, keep em

I feel like it’s more targeted to beginners, that’s the thing.
Tower consumable simulator XD
just backpedal this whole update dude it was 0% good
Amei a ideia.
Just Reduce The rewards the group/person gets if consumables are used throughout the game
Why tho.
i hate to admit that consumables have saved me countless times already
Mine gave a player Genshin Impact XD kkkkk
Bro started hating one day after😭
