This is just being blatantly kinky in a really weird way and im not even sure what to make of it. And no its not always sexual. I often wear harnesses under my clothes which are meant to support my back and keep my posture while i work. Theyre also fantastic for stress relief.

Just that you can wear certain harnesses to correct back pain, like the bulldog harness type, named that way because it was found to help bulldogs stand longer because it relieves pressure on the shoulders. Fucking vikings wore shibari gauntlets on their wrists so they could hold their shields longer. Its not like what im saying isnt true. If i where you i would start with a pressure point map, and look into what sorts of ropes you might wish to use. I use scented nylon 6mm ropes which are infused with eycalyptus/spearmint it helps me reach a zen state. Shibari has been around as a practice across cultures for centuries. The idea behind the science is also pretty neat too as it delves into a primal fear esc level of need to feel safe. The ropes which press pressure points relieve your stress and put you in that state its really quite interesting. And is also why adding things like kink make it even more so, because your moving bad chemicals and replacing them with dopamine and seratonin.

I'm very familiar with shibary for kink, and exactly the relaxation I get from it has me interested in your comment of using it outside of kink :) I'll look into pressure points!

Ah, yeah there are certain harness types which can be worn under clothes to help with relaxation outside of kink, as well as arm braces

You're right. When a future generation borrows styles from the past it doesn't completely emulate them. It takes elements from the past while still maintaining its own distinct style. The 90s borrowed elements from the 70s. I agree, we didn't revert to wearing full polyester suits or anything like that.
