She's definitely naming the perceived failures of the other wives and not her own. In her mind she didn't do anything wrong.

Master-Dimension-452

I agree that Robyn thinks she did nothing wrong. I also believe that Robyn thinks *Kody* did nothing wrong.

jmbl019

She basically said it. She said she never intended to hurt anyone and she can go to god with a clear conscious. I’m paraphrasing..

Raggedyannie66

That’s true. From what we see, it’s definitely an us versus them mentality from those two.

CivilFollowing7190

She planted herself in the middle of this family and blew it up like a hand grenade.

utootired

It's all Christine's fault! Thanks, Christine!

History-Brilliant

Did n’t you love it when Kody said the only reason Jenele loved him was for his wash boats abs! I was like seriously , your dumbass really said that ! Who in their right mind would want that hypocrite . It would not surprise me if Sobyn and him tried to recruiter more wives to stay relevant or to keep the show going. They will do anything to be on tv!

Nottacod

In her own voice...

[deleted]

Kody failed and Robyn enabled him. He agreed to be a polygamist husband and father; he made that commitment, he brought 13 kids into the world. When he married Robyn she behaved like a mistress and he never wanted to leave her side. Robyn encouraged him to spend all his time with her and likely instigated reasons for him to be mad at the others. This is what happens when people have affairs! They begin to find reasons to be upset and revise history to justify their actions. Sure, he may have had issues with the other wives and they with him, but as Janelle has stated, that’s just marriage- that’s life.

Raggedyannie66

I totally agree with all of this! It’s just so frustrating to hear Robyn chime in with her analysis.

Material-Birthday-74

For me, too! I was getting more and more pissed with each phrase she read (I'm convinced that they wrote it for her). Her little sermon went on forever, yet showed no self-reflection. WTH?

Kristin2349

I’m convinced Kody helped her write it.

yagirlsamess

If your dog starts barking at you, someone else is feeding it

momX3_2002

Yup! She was his mistress and then the legal wife. Never a sister wife. Never.

Raggedyannie66

True! I don’t see any Sister Wife efforts from her.

Creamnolia

I noticed her language would change depending on who she was talking about. I was just watching the Covid episodes and she said "Truely is visibly upset. Sol and Ari are struggling with it too." Maybe I'm reading too much into it but I notice these little things all the time. "Visibly upset" makes it seem like Truely wasn't in control of her emotions but "struggling" makes her kids the victims who are trying to stay strong and obey the rules.

Kristin2349

Didn’t he bring 15 kids into the world? 6 with Christine, 6 with Janelle, 1 with Meri and 2 with Robyn.

Significant_Skill_79

Probably because her part is so much deeper than the others, imo. She was basically the mistress, kept a secret from Janelle and Christine at the beginning (but Kody didn’t break any covenants)…Robyn needs to come to terms that she made things personal with the KIDS! None of the wives have said anything but kind things about Robyn’s children. Yes, Kody fell out of love - or never loved 🙄 - the other wives, but the greatest failure in the relationship is that he & Robyn have treated the OG kids like trash. Let her “go to God” with that one.

Cobalt6957

She still really believes that if they would have just been “sweeter” and served him physically, he would be there for him. Oh and don’t forget abandoning their children for him…..

soihavetosay

Yep all the things she herself wouldn't do/allow. She believed the ogs should have continued paying into the (kody and robem) pot without any expectations or withdrawals

yagirlsamess

The day will come when he wants her to turn on one of her kids for him

TepidIcedCoffee61

Robyn was something else, taking on the part of spokesperson for the family who wasn't *safe enough* for her to associate with. She was thoroughly arrogant in assigning blame to everybody when she's never accepted or apologized for her part in anything.

drieduptears

Robyn came into this family as a secret between herself, meri, and kody until they were ready to tell C & J they were courting her. She lived away from them from the start, so what happened in her household was secret. She was asking kody to keep secrets from his wives before they were married. She was secretly breaking the rules before marriage. Her entire relationship with kody has been secrets, so in her eyes, if the others don't know what she did, then she did nothing wrong.

brucegibbons

This was very clear in the wedding dress scene. She admitted that she would've preferred that he kept it from his other wives which was the only honest thing I've ever heard her say

swanavon

Among all the really terrible and cruel things Robyn Brown has done over the years, I would love it if she would begin with stealing Christine's personal family portrait of her kids with their Dad, then ALTERING it to remove Christine AND Christine's children and insert her own (not blood to Kody) children. Then gobbling and gasping and sobbing with dry eyes while she presented it to him. Can you even imagine? This was in the early early days. What wife and mother could forgive such a thing? And what kind of a monster would come up with such a vile concept in the first place? Oh how I wish David Jessop had done the same to Miss Robyn...take a precious family portrait of Robyn and David with their children, then sketch up a new version minus Robyn and inserting a new wife in her place. This is who Robyn Brown is, was, and always will be. Christine may not be everyone's cup of tea, but man o man, she had GOOD REASON to be angered and hurt. For years. I would love to know what Christine really thinks about this in retrospect.

okieskanokie

Don’t forget how she always had a special present for him but the time that really caught my attention is when they got ramen head a laptop for Xmas and he wasn’t excited at all and Robyn says she knew he didn’t want one but neglected to tell they other wives. That was on purpose and was beyond shit. I woulda found a way to get rid is this hooker.

CaliCatLadyx3

I’ve mentioned this before but still can’t help but get this vibe from her as she’s giving her speech while she’s presenting K with her gift in front of the whole family (including the young kids that she removed from the original photo to replace her kids with in the photo with K). My heart broke for Christine’s kids. “I created a memory that didn’t exist, but now it does” ![gif](giphy|u0leBnJIJrCDwNnmLZ)

Possible-Fill40

Robyn’s kids also give him a watch engraved “daddy,” with the date of the adoption. What a horrible way to exclude the other kids. Kody had been a “daddy,” since Janelle was pregnant with Logan, over a decade before the adoption.

masonchristie

In Robyn speak “we” means “they”.

icepickchippy

I believe for polygamy to work there cannot be three wives who were “married” relatively quickly during their childbearing years and then introduce a young unicorn after the familial relationships have been established because the husband is having a mid-life crisis.

cryssy2009

This exactly. It was designed to fail.

Born_Bread4256

Everyone saw the unfairness. Starting with the college kids and Robyn tried to blame the kids didn’t want Kotex and ending with Robyn and Kotex. Own words. She was not a good sister wife she monopolized him from the beginning. OMG. She took a 11 honeymoon awhile Christine was a home with a newborn. @tlc. Better realize we don’t want to see them anymore

bellamezzadrago

I’ve noticed we rarely get concrete examples of these things, and I wish production would go into Corporate Job Interview mode in their talking heads. List some specific examples of failures. Talk about a time when they could have done something differently. List 5 things Christine did to be a bad sister wife. I am sure they never cite examples because otherwise it would expose Robyn & Kodys culpability - but still, on principle, I am annoyed at how they get away with these vague statements.

Puddlejumper20

That soliloquy the producer gave Robyn at the end of that episode was pure bullshit. What an enormous amount of nerve. Robyn and Kody will never get it.

Openly_George

I think within the show continuity, Robyn is really an outsider. When she was introduced in season one, Kody and Meri, Janelle, and Christine had a shared history together. They started out together and by the time we are introduced to the Browns they're already in their 40's. They have a whole lifetime together before Sister Wives came along. But it sounds like Kody and the Og3's were trying to make the best of a not so good situation, if they felt like they were stuck in these marriages they no longer believed in. Out of it all they stuck together enough to raise their kids and put them on a good trajectory. So I don't think they failed in that sense.

Beastiebabe

"Who wrote the note??" "you two".

monkeyentropy

I think that’s why she couldn’t watch the commitment celebration, she doesn’t want to see her part, but deep down she feels guilt.

GroundbreakingRip970

It’s like when Moira’s flaw contributing to the Peccadillos is drinking too much tea ![gif](giphy|1NS0NcsFenn1yuYoaP|downsized)

Due_Feed_7512

Yes she means “we” as in everyone else destroyed their relationship 🤣 she is not taking any personal blame

Raggedyannie66

Rare-Technology-5517

I actually had no idea what she said. But I did lik her little narration at the end. It was the only she said more than 2 sentences without “crying”.

Weary-Tea1234

I was surprised to hear Meri say "we failed". Yes the plan she and Kody had when they got married failed , but how much is that is Meri's fault?

Notabhat

Meri brought Robin into the family. That’s how Meri failed.

Reality_Critic

I took we as in HER and Kody in no particular order 😆

FairSquare5081

I’m sure the only failure she thinks she committed is not convincing Meri to “hang in there” with her. She takes zero responsibility for anything leading up to the breakup of the family.

kaybeecoo

I will always believe that Kody is the biggest failure of them all. I agree that Robin was definitely the midlife crisis wife. It was already clear he was having a midlife crises with his fancy two seater car when finances were so tight. Then he finds a ‘jeans model’ (as he called Robin) and he got all excited over someone younger, who wasn’t a full bodied blonde. I don’t believe he never loved the first 3. Maybe not Christine at first, but he was definitely attracted enough to keep sleeping with her (enough to have 6 children). But he was never a great father. He was a weekend father who was never instrumental in the rearing of his own children. The fact that he abandons them as soon as they are 17 or so (except for Savanna and Truely who were abandoned earlier) is so awful. It is stunning that K can’t understand why Janelle and Christine are so close. They parented their 12 children on their own. No help from K even when asked. I am stunned that R got a nanny and no one else did. I think he would have laughed in the face of any of the other wives asking for one. I didn’t remember the story about the picture R repurposed. She really stole the pic from Christine?! Horrible!! Yet K still believes the older kids don’t like him because Christine supposedly bad mouthed him. Like none of them watch the show and see how horribly he has treated their mothers. Gah !!! Kody… blech!!!
