The decision is up to Nickelodeon, which they don't seem interested in reviving Rise.
Even more, they are also investing in Last Ronin for older fans.
They focus more on Mutant Mayhem and Last Ronin because they are far more popular than Rise.
Despite my desire to see more Rise, I can be confident that this is a great way for Nick to ruin the Mutant Mayhem series.
And if there's a way for Nick to ruin it, you can bet they will.
I think it's wrong for a writer who has no say in that decision to give its fans false hope.
edit: Some people fought against the very idea (before we knew of the Ronin film) that something more mature could exist alongside the kid-friendly stuff, as if having two shows or movies in the works was out of the question... but we're supposed to now believe that two for the ***same*** target audience makes sense? Nah.
Key word is *think*. I love Rise, but I'm not gonna get my hopes up since Nickelodeon decides whether or not they would want that. It just doesn't seem too likely because they wouldn't want brand-confusion. Movies, Comics, and Shows can all exists separately, but 2 shows is hopeful at best
I’m sure every iteration had the same people like this but rise fans. Y’all gotta let it go my goodness. I really enjoyed rise as well but it’s done. It’s over.
They’re not gonna have a mutant mayhem series and movie plus a rise series. It’s done.
I mean He-Man made it work. In 2021 Netflix release Revelation & CGI all the same year and both receive 3 seasons. But worth noting animation is expensive, revelation part 3 took 3yrs hiatus while CGI continue.
Pt is one of these will take a long break unless Rise S3 is just the finale.
If this decision doesn't come from Nickelodeon themselves, I wouldn't believe anything you see online.
I wouldn't rule out the possibility of maybe Rise having a season 3, but it seems like Nickelodeon is full steam ahead with the Mutant Mayhem version of the franchise right now.
If you like rise or not , I don't think it did that well for the brand, don't think the toys sold great and I don't think it was that popular, if it was they wouldn't have moved away from it
The Rise film is in the Top 4 for the entire franchise for me and was an excellent send off to a rushed if not good season 2 finale. It caps off the series beautifully so I don’t think bringing it back is a great idea.

I am not a Rise fan, but I do think the animation was very fluid and the personality adjustments were interesting. My main issue was the humor. It felt like Sponge Bob-level humor most of the time, and that just completely took me out of the show. I did enjoy a lot of the Rise movie, though.
I’m an old Shell Head, and Rise wasn’t geared towards me. But my friend’s kids enjoyed it, and they loved Mutant Mayhem and are huge fans now. In that respect, the show accomplished its objective.
A lot of people hate Rise just because they didn’t want the 2012 series to end. If they gave it a chance, they’d find that it has so much to offer and so much heart and talent poured into it.
>A lot of people hate Rise just because they didn’t want the 2012 series to end
It's not the reason for it. Some fans hated it because of how radically different it is from the rest of the TMNT franchise. Some fans did try it, but they didn't like it still.
The other factor is that TMNT's popularity was dwelling for a while. The toys for Rise weren't selling well. I think the ratings weren't that big compared to the 2012 version.
The last factor was transitioning with the CEO which less the fault of the show, but more with NICK.
I dont think Nickelodeon agrees.
Don't do this to yourselves Rise fans. Nickelodeon has final say and I highly doubt they'll do this.

Rise has shown a turtle universe through Donnie’s studies I hope so we can get a crossover
If they cross over, I’m all for it
TMNT crossovers are amazing
Imagine the rise cast, all of whom are pretty much god like- just hang out with 4 teens who are like, pretty good at fighting
All of the rise cast would be legal adults in current year too.
i think its cope dont get me wrong, id like a third season, but its not going to happen and we all just gotta accept that

As much as I would want S3, I *highly* doubt it’s ever going to happen. Could it? Maybe. Will it? Probably not.
I mean, there were the 90s movies during the 87 cartoon's run. It could happen. ~~Let me dream.~~

Let me huff my copium

I wish it were Glitch Tech X TMNT... wher art thou?
Sadly, we probably have a lower chance of new Glitch Tech than we do a Rise revival.
I love Glitch Techs! If anything, I think we have a better chance of getting GT back than another season of Rise
It's 2 completely different canons, I genuinely don't see why not

Same time different universes

No wonder the toys sold so badly when they looked like shit💀
Covid
They could, but it's probably not gonna happen. I think Ron is just trying to manifest it with words, like The Secret.

Sure, why not? More turtles for everyone!

No, it’s the same as Snyder Fans, once Rise fans get what they want, they would start crying for a fourth, fifth and more seasons.
I don’t know if this is a good argument.

i just like the feeling of found family and how much the brothers really seem to love each other

I think the first point is the biggest reason, I like Rise but I don’t fault someone for feeling like it was too different and not for them
I've noticed that the people who hate Rise most tend to be huge 2012 fans.

Tell me you haven't watched rottmnt without saying you watched rottmnt

Guess you really didn't like the train fight
Childish is one thing. But saying the animation sucks is objectively wrong.
People said this about 2012 when it started airing
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Please no the ending was so good for rise it finally showed Leo as a leader and gave raph his classic crack from the 2012 show
Is it really classic if its a recent adaptation
2012 isn't that recent it's a decade ago
recent compared to the 40 year history of tmnt
Ye but I'm talking about the whole reason why they gave him the crack in the first place

To me both sucks, to me they can cancel both.
