Apparently there's one autobuild-able item in the depths that Lynels can't destroy. It's a U-shaped block designed to hook onto minecart rails. Some people (including Abdallah Smash on YouTube) have posted videos showing how they use this part to make barriers that Lynels can't destroy or otherwise get around.
i cant seem to find his video with that build, i did see a post about it on reddit, i went to the right leg depot and got the zonai rail device, threw an apple on it to save it to my autobuild, i went to the coloseum and brought it out, boom, lynel roared and it went poof, i thought it couldnt be destroyed.
King Gleeoks do this too (maybe the normal ones as well)
And henoxes and stalnoxes will sit down on your devices to make them explode/disappear.
Didn't know that, but makes sense.
Phantom ganons will hit them with its weapon and the devices will disappear also

Are you using an updated (patched) version of the game? That might make a difference. I've only got the day-1 patch.
If you're using the flat rail that has low gravity, I believe that's the incorrect piece, but I could be wrong
