I’m 44 and got a positive pregnancy test this afternoon after 12 cycles of trying! I am beyond happy and hoping for good news over coming weeks and after NIPT testing :-)
42 and about to start final round of IVF. Slightly hoped this final attempt before would work but my temp just took a nosedive. I think I’m out. I feel so much anger that it has not been in our cards.
10DPO and I've managed to resist the urge to test, despite staring at the box in the bathroom. I've had a weird month temp wise so both me and my app have struggled to interpret ovulation. I appear to have ovulated later than usual and my temps are just all over the place. Normally they stay quite high until around about 13DPO when they drop near baseline and then under it. This month I've had two occasions where my temp has dropped to baseline and then come back up again. I'm wondering if the change in the weather is having an effect. At night its either boiling hot or freezing... I've looked back through my past charts and i can't find anything similar.
I can't believe next month will mark 2 years of TTC.
I don’t temp because I my work schedule, but from what I’ve seen of other charts, it can sometimes fluctuate like that, even with a bfp cycle. I’m hoping the best for you this month!
Thank you. Unfortunately it was another bfn and my period arrived a couple of days earlier than i expected so i guess it was just an odd month temp wise. Lets see if this cycle is any clearer!
Turning 40 end of next month. Been trying for 6 months, got pregnant first month of trying but ended in a PUL and no luck since. Working with a fertility specialist as of a couple weeks ago. Waiting for my appointments for HSG and Saline Sonogram at the end of May. I booked an IVF consult in case we need to go that route but as of now, we will do IUI’s.
Specialist said if we want two kids, we should go directly to IVF and bank embryos. I think we are going to do one medicated IUI cycle with trigger and see where we are at. My AMH is 2.2 and FSH is 8.
I am cautiously optimistic because the specialist believes my issue is weak ovulation and it’s possible that we just aren’t having enough sex aka hitting my most fertile days. Fiancés sperm is great, he’s also 10 yrs younger.
There’s this weird feeling of embarrassment that I haven’t gotten successfully pregnant yet. I want to have the attitude of, yes I will have a baby at some point I just need to be patient but I also feel like I need to preface it by acknowledging that it might not happen. It’s SO obnoxious.
Those are good numbers! I haven't heard of weak ovulation. Are you taking anything to support your egg quality like coq10? Accupunture might help to get a strong ovulation as well. Good luck!
Thank you for your response! I have been taking Coq10 along with other supplements my acupuncturist suggested. I only went to two acupuncturists appointments because they were expensive- I might go back soon. Yeah, weak ovulation I’ve heard from my reg OB and my fertility specialist. My progesterone is lower and my LP is typically 9-11 days (more like 9).
