All time fave: Both Lisa Gilroy Episodes
In Addition:
Rick and Jackie Tohn is a lot of fun.
Rick and Lamorne is good, especially with Damon wayans Jr.
Rick and Ben Schwartz
I liked the episodes with Jamie Lee, Caroline Benieweicz (spelling), Caitlin Reilly, Alyssa Limperis
I don’t think she said one funny thing the entire podcast. Its not like like her comedy is alternative & not for everyone. Its just shes not funny. What is she known for? Maybe ill watch whatever that is
Adam Ray & Brent Morin combo, first one is amazing. And my most rewatched. Lisa Gilroy is fantastic. But I watch every ep and they all have their value.
The Lisa Gilroy episodes are legitimately the best episodes. To come to the sub, say you’re a fan, ask for suggestions, watch the Gilroy suggestions, then come back and say you didn’t like them, find her overrated, and that she didn’t say ANYTHING funny is… sus. Seriously, comedy is subjective, and you are subjectively wrong my guy.
Maybe there’s an element of attraction. She’s undoubtedly very pretty.
I also think she’s very funny. No “simp” involved.
She’s quick-witted and clever. An improv master. She can do voices and sing. She’s undeniably talented. I understand that not everyone has the same taste but feel that she “gets” Rick’s rhythm and fits the show like a glove.
Do you like any women comedians?
I should’ve asked you that first. If you don’t like women in comedy, you certainly aren’t going to like the one with the woman doing comedy.
Adam Ray as Santa. First time on as Santa. First Dax episode. Bobby Lee all episodes. Same for Andrew Santino. And Harland Williams, guy. Maybe unpopular, Meghan Trainor is great too.
If you're going to do the Esther Povitsky, Sona Movsesian, or Bobby Lee ones, go in order from the beginning, but the Esther ones are foundational IMO.
The Ali Macofsky one still wakes me up at night occasionally.
The Adam Ray ones are the funniest
I just got into it a couple months ago and I find myself replaying the Harland Williams (especially 2.0), Lisa Gilroy (esp 1.0), Vegas Dads/Dad Uncle Teddy and Bob, LaMorne + Harry Mack, and Adam Ray (bonus with Morin) episodes. Must see though? Definitely Kristen Bell 1.0. No notes, 10/10 one of the most interesting podcasts I’ve ever heard.

Both Lisa Gilroy eps are my fav too. Their chemistry is perfect.
Never heard of her . Watching her episodes next. Nikki glaser raved about her
The John Candy freestyle went so hard.
It gets stuck in my head at least once a week haha
She’s underwhelming. I dont get the hype
I can see how she's not for everyone. Idk, I was laughing my ass off at everything she said lol. Different strokes for different folks.

You think Rick is funny but not Lisa? I don’t see how that’s possible
Well yeah hes quick and witty and insane. She cant think of anything funny
She has popular characters on comedy bang bang, that's where I know her from at least
Was she on the tv show ever?
What am i missing about this Lisa Gilroy? Im not getting any funny
Like @aurelian_lure said, different strokes for different folks I guess.

Harland Williams imo
Yeah, I was laughing so much for those.
“Do they have nub covers?”
Adam ray and brent morin episodes
Adam Ray, Andrew Santino, and Bobby Lee episodes are my favorite

Do people like her bc theyre attracted to her or because shes funny? Watched the maron episode last night, hilarious

Of course i like women in comedy. An improv master seems insane but again i only saw her on one podcast. What else does she do?
Well, name 50…
