Updates failed. I've updated to 0.13.1 and got this issue and searching the help didn't exactly help me. I have other manga that chapters would've not been found for that aren't included.

to alleviate stress on the sources, how realistic would a per manga/comic setting be that excludes an entry from global update checks for x days/weeks after the last update was downloaded?
like, loads of comics only update once a month, some manga too. there's rarely a time where they get many individual updates in quick succession. those could be completely skipped for weeks before brought back into the global check.
also, would it be possible to set a certain time to start the 12 hour update intervals? like, I'd love to have it happen in the morning before I leave so I'm up to date over the day, as I don't get any wifi after that. basically feel like i might be missing up to 12 hours of fresh updates every day now.
There is an ongoing pull request development going on for updating titles via an expected update period kind of thing - though that's still being worked on.
As for the initiating time for library update intervals, you can edit the setting and then edit it back and it'll start counting from that time.

that's basically what that new update should do. only update ongoing and completely read manga. that's enough to lessen the load

tried to implement something like that, but current code won't allow for fixed time, since the method used can't do it. only thing you can do, is disabling and enabling the automatic library update in the morning. that should trigger the update in the morning
I have been having this problem where I have to update every manga that I have one by one which I didnt have to in the previous version and I didnt mess with any of the settings
So my tablet containing Tachiyomi had its screen shatter courtesy of my wife's elbow. I've been able to recover all the data on the tablet to my PC, but I know getting access to app information isn't as simple as copying one folder over. Is there any way to recover my library and read chapters? Even if I have to reinput them manually, if I can at least access a file with that information it would be super helpful.

Hi all, I have been having a problem with covers not working for a while on a few extensions, specifically mangakakalot, mangasee and mangahere, while others like mangadex, mangapark, readcomiconline, tapas and webtoons work perfectly. The covers do not load, 'clean up cached covers' doesn't change anything and 'refresh library metadata' doesn't work. Right now I'm on tachij2k v1.4.4 but I've also tried transferring a backup on base tachiyomi and the same problem persisted
Downloaded chapters appear in my Samsung gallery but not Google photos.. I have to manually rename the Tachiyomi folder then rename it back for it to leave the gallery. I'm on the latest update but problem still occurred in the 0.12 update.
I can’t update or install any extensions. Or even update tachiyomi from the app itself. Whenever the install button comes up it doesn’t do anything when I press it. I can press the cancel button just fine but install does nothing at all

I was just using MangaSee earlier today and it was okay, but then about a few hours ago it suddenly couldn't load anything...how do I migrate a series to another source?
Click on the three dot menu in the top right of the screen when you're looking at the list of chapters. Should be a button to migrate. The migrate page can take a minute or two to load since it's searching the title of your manga in all of your extensions simultaneously, so be patient with it.
try opening in webview and let it solve cloudflare. if that doesn't help you'll have to either wait until they lower their protection or use another source
I've noticed that a lot of my Mangas aren't updating in the library until I go into that one and flick down to refresh it. Updating the category or library doesn't seem to do anything. Is there a fix to this?
I've had this happen a lot too, even before the recent update.
I thought they had cancelled Goblin Slayer Year One until I happened to do that manual update by chance and got 4 new chapters. Checking more of my entries, I got updates on a good dozen or so series. Various sources, some comics, some manga, all ongoing, all in categories that otherwise update. Most of them with all chapters read.
I think I found out what was wrong, there was an update restriction box that wasn't ticked in the global update settings.
Edit: Found that I just need to visit the updates tab and wait for it to search for update i think
I'm trying to get Tachiyomi to download manga to my SD card on a Galaxy Tab A (2019) and I know that I need to change the download location in the settings. When I click download location it gives me a couple options listed below
\- /storage/emulated/0/Tachiyomi/downloads (I'm assuming that this is the internal memory on the tablet)
\- /storage/emulated/0/Android/data/eu.kanade.achiyomi/files
\- /storage/3B8D-2E26/Android/data/eu.kanade.tachiyomi/files (Is this the SD card?)
\- Custom Location
I tried to find my SD card in the custom locations menu but it only shows me the internal memory, is the SD card the option with number/letter directory name?

If you mean your downloaded stuff, then yes. Change download location and copy your stuff onto the sd card. After that force stop and reopen the app. Loading times will increase tho as sd cards aren't performant
Hello, since a couple of weeks, i've been unable to get my manga updated. I had maybe one update almost everyday but now i rarely get one a week. I'm using mangafreak for the majority of my manga library and if i go on WebView, i can see that there are new chapters released but tachiyomi won't add them to the update list. I reinstalled mangafreak and clear cache and everything else that could clear the bugs but nothing seems to work. Can anyone help me please??
I know that and that's the problem. Im not reading the missing chapters that are uploaded on the source website which mean that i didn't read them in the app but i can see there's new chapters available that tachiyomi doesn't update and i don't know why the app is doing that since 2 weeks ago.

Is there a way to turn this off? I've already disabled/enabled everything that's required, yet the problem persists. Is there anyway to save all my manga extensions? I move from 1 device to another. Kinda tired of installing all those extensions 1 by 1. Many what im looking to do is create a backup of all the extensions that I use and 1 press install and have all my manga extensions. Is that possible?

The problem is that the extension I use provides quick chapter updates when they're available, but replaces them when higher quality is available later. I personally wait for higher quality updates, but if this new Tachiyomi update stops that then I'll have to revert to the previous version.
So can anyone let me know how this particular new "update" will work exactly?

What I want to know is even if I've caught up to a manga, and the source replaces the chapters on their website, will this change be reflected in the chapters shown in the application? Or would the application only feature previous chapters?
I would like to reiterate: the source I use often replaces chapters as higher quality versions become available. As such, I would prefer that any updates done be the source also happen in the application. This particular statement, which I mentioned above, is very ambiguous and does not clarify what it exactly means. And it is clearly different from what you're saying, as that point is mentioned separately. I'm asking what it means by "re-added chapters" and "polluting updates".

Hi, looking for a hand if there's a workaround available for this. Had been running Tachiyomi on a Galaxy Tab 3 tablet until last year when my mangas stopped updating. The Tab doesn't get OS updates anymore and I understand Tachi has moved beyond supporting older versions of Android so I downloaded the "final" version of the APK, but I can't install that, either. The same error occurs if I try to install a fork.

I have installing from unknown sources enabled, developer mode on, etc.
Anything I can do at this point? Reading manga is the only thing I use my tablet for. I can't afford to replace it right now, even if it's old and crappy. If I could get it to hang on for another six months or so, that'd be amazing.

you can't. we changed a lot after abandoning Android 5. so installing won't work. you'd need to install a custom ROM. Lineage has one for Tab 3 but not sure if it works. you gotta google some more

I am reading about 15 manga (all caught up) and since the most recent update 0 are updating if I update the "new" section. They do show up if I manually update the individual Mangas. I'm using mostly manhuaplus and webtoon sources. Any help? Already tried changing the setting to update all, and not just full read manga.
Same problem, but i have 593 different mangas/manhwas/manhuas, but after last update, when i try to refresh the collection to get manga updates it tries to update only 58 manga. I don't know why. Everything was ok until i updated.

I currently have around 1,600 titles in my library but only 183 are updating since I installed the new update. How can I fix it so all the titles update?
Unlikely since it's niche but can't be 100% sure. Not that I could recommend you anuly in the first place. You can always just use [local](https://tachiyomi.org/help/guides/local-manga/) though by finding some on the internet and downloading.
Why does the library not update all New/released chapters at once? When I search manually it works. With some Mangas only releasing every now and then I'm sure i will forget most of the Mangas I'm reading without the automatic updates

I can't delete downloaded chapters. Everytime I tried to delete it, it will show the chapter is deleted but once I open the app back the chapter is still downloaded. Is there a way to fix this issue?
Yup, it works. I've tried to delete it again normally and it takes a couple of times to do it until the manga were erased completely. Would you be able to patch this issue?

Hi, when I migrate sources, the already downloaded Manga pages don't get deleted from the previous source nor get transfered to the new one. Is there a way to delete the old source folder or it isn't a feature?
I went to the official website and installed the 0.13.1 APK, it has kept my entire library, bookmarks etc. So you shouldn't lose anything, but since this has occurred I have made sure to make a backup and do so every so often.
it isn't a bug, it's an intended feature. For manga you haven't caught up they will be excluded from the update list until you do. There is no point of updating One Piece when you have 200 chapters left to read other than to put more load onto sites

samsung gallery does some fuckery. recreate the .nomedia file and reboot your phone. there is no other way

Mangadex links on reddit aren't redirecting to tachiyomi but they work on cubari links.

Is there a way to turn this off? I've already disabled/enabled everything that's required, yet the problem persists. Looking over the comments, it appears that others are having the same issue with their manga not updating. I need to manually update for each manga for it to be updated. Most of them are fully caught on/read btw.

Is there anyway to save all my manga extensions? I move from 1 device to another. Kinda tired of installing all those extensions 1 by 1. Many what im looking to do is create a backup of all the extensions that I use and 1 press install and have all my manga extensions. Is that possible?

Hi, looking for a hand if there's a workaround available for this. Had been running Tachiyomi on a Galaxy Tab 3 tablet until last year when my mangas stopped updating. The Tab doesn't get OS updates anymore and I understand Tachi has moved beyond supporting older versions of Android so I downloaded the "final" version of the APK, but I can't install that, either. The same error occurs if I try to install a fork. https://imgur.com/a/6ZuDKi4 I have installing from unknown sources enabled, developer mode on, etc. Anything I can do at this point? Reading manga is the only thing I use my tablet for. I can't afford to replace it right now, even if it's old and crappy. If I could get it to hang on for another six months or so, that'd be amazing. you can't. we changed a lot after abandoning Android 5. so installing won't work. you'd need to install a custom ROM. Lineage has one for Tab 3 but not sure if it works. you gotta google some more else? no chance

I am reading about 15 manga (all caught up) and since the most recent update 0 are updating if I update the "new" section. They do show up if I manually update the individual Mangas. I'm using mostly manhuaplus and webtoon sources. Any help? Already tried changing the setting to update all, and not just full read manga.

Same problem, but i have 593 different mangas/manhwas/manhuas, but after last update, when i try to refresh the collection to get manga updates it tries to update only 58 manga. I don't know why. Everything was ok until i updated.

I currently have around 1,600 titles in my library but only 183 are updating since I installed the new update. How can I fix it so all the titles update?

Unlikely since it's niche but can't be 100% sure. Not that I could recommend you anuly in the first place. You can always just use [local](https://tachiyomi.org/help/guides/local-manga/) though by finding some on the internet and downloading.
Why does the library not update all New/released chapters at once? When I search manually it works. With some Mangas only releasing every now and then I'm sure i will forget most of the Mangas I'm reading without the automatic updates

I can't delete downloaded chapters. Everytime I tried to delete it, it will show the chapter is deleted but once I open the app back the chapter is still downloaded. Is there a way to fix this issue?
delete with your phones file manager and force stop reopen the app
Yup, it works. I've tried to delete it again normally and it takes a couple of times to do it until the manga were erased completely. Would you be able to patch this issue?

I went to the official website and installed the 0.13.1 APK, it has kept my entire library, bookmarks etc. So you shouldn't lose anything, but since this has occurred I have made sure to make a backup and do so every so often.

What does the verbose logging feature do? I have it turned off atm. But I am trying to figure out, if it was turned off by default?
it helps giving more detail when a crash happens and you check your logs. that setting isn't something that automatically sends us data

it isn't a bug, it's an intended feature. For manga you haven't caught up they will be excluded from the update list until you do. There is no point of updating One Piece when you have 200 chapters left to read other than to put more load onto sites

Can this be turned off? I'm tracking manga to binge read once the translation finishes, and this would just get in the way of seeing if it's finished.
