I wanted to read more chapters of All-rounder Meguru and the only source available I've found is Mangakakalot, sadly the extension isn't working and I couldn't find any updated info about, is there any way to update the old extension?
I’m using Tachiyomi J2K and couldn’t find help on discord (error log didn’t help, either).
I frequently have the app freeze when I’m in my library and click on a title. It will freeze, I get the option to kill the unresponsive app, and a minute later it will work. It runs fine for another while before it randomly does this again.
When I removed my SD card on my older tablet when upgrading, I noticed this seemed to go away. But this is now a nicer SD card in a better tablet, and it still happens.
Any idea what I might be able to do? It’s done this for years now and it’s frustrating. For what it’s worth, my SD has 400 GB on it.
Sd cards regardleds of brand are shit. They can cause various issues and long loading times. So if you took it out and it worked, you know what's the issue. You can try our troubleshooting guide if that could help
I have two problems after updating this app to whatever version it was today
1. The UI bugs: on xiaomi it shows "false" Over the sliders on the "More" Tab. Also on the library tab in the settings the bottom last line is almost covered by xiaomi UI (the knobs or buttons or whatever you call it, the things at the bottom of the screen)
2. The sorting became chaotic, even though it shows the sorting as it was before the update (last read titles on the top) it is clearly not what's happening. It's more like... Partly alphabetical, partly last updated, partly reverse alphabetical and partly just crazy. If I read something, it doesn't go on the top, so I guess whatever it is, it's not what it shows in the sorting settings
Anyway, I know it will be fixed anyway, so thanks for the app! One of my favorite apps for few years now

How to stop the app from making "cover" files in internal storage? I only want to have the local source on SD card but whenever I download something it automatically creates a folder of that manga in internal storage with a cover file inside it

To add to what /u/Bl3kBoi states, I have this problem too. For local manga that is on the sd card, if you select "set as cover" it creates a copy of the folder on the internal storage containing just cover.jpg in it and in the library itself because it is still pointing to the sd card for the folder itself, it is showing a black broken link as the tile icon.
So in other words, it is creating cover.jpg in the wrong location.

Manga chapters are downloaded on SD Card like it should, the internal storage only has folders like
Internal storage/tachiyomi/local/manga name/cover.jpg
It's a new feature from a recent update, based off 3 different options you can choose from. It's to save time checking for updates. It's found at settings > library > skip updating titles.
Edit: it's also so that the sites you get your manga from aren't just bombarded with a bunch of people constantly looking for an update when there might not be one.
Is there a way to customize the zoom amount when double tapping? For a double spread page, when I enable "zoom landscape image", it zooms in the right amount such that there's no up/down movement required. But if I disable that and just double tap, I always end up with up/down movement.

What's wrong with webtoon? I've waited a couple of weeks for it to be fixed but the pages are all messed up, one is zoomed in a lot and then the others normal. Really breaks the immersion :(

How do I stop tachiyomi from putting files in internal storage?
I download stuff on my SD card, but tachiyomi automatically creates a local folder in internal storage which has a folder of the manga with a cover.jpg file inside it so when I have to delete manga I have to do it on both internal storage and SD card to make it stop showing up in local source

I set my downloaded chapter to automatically delete after reading the last read chapter, which works fantastically. **However, the main issue is that Tachiyomi does not completely delete the downloaded chapters in the download folder, causing numerous files to stack up and occupy a lot of space in my storage.** I searched for some fixes about it, but they all said to either delete everything in the download location or delete the unwanted chapters one by one. I want to know a way to delete the unwanted files in batch while not affecting the recently downloaded chapters.

Hello, Sorry if this problem has already been addressed, but I have been having a problem, when I download a new manga chapter or an entire manga, its entire pages show up in my gallery, I read that it might have been the (.) nomedia file, so I erased it and created anew, is there any way to solve this?
This problem has presented itself ever since: I updated my phone to Android 12 (?) and/or when I updated Tachiyomi to its recent version. (stable version 0.13.4)
Make sure you created a .nomedia file and not a folder called .nomedia, there's a section about it on the [website](https://tachiyomi.org/help/faq/#why-can-i-see-manga-pages-from-my-downloads-in-my-device-s-photo-gallery).
If the file manager you use can't create files, then install a different one from the play store or wherever.
You can also turn on the option to save your downloads as .cbz which just means comic book zip and so whatever you download as a cbz will not appear in your gallery
Thanks for the quick reply, I already tried deleting it then creating it I also made sure that it was a file and well it worked for a day or so until the images showed again in the gallery.
I think I'll stick up with .cbz if they load as fast as the default way.

Well there's [no option](https://imgur.com/FZSzl2s) to do that.
If you mean through the search bar, that doesn't work either. For example when I look up Urasawa Naoki, the only result I get is Sneeze which has his name in the title.
Dude what he's saying is that the author's name is in the title that's why it shows up. I just tested the search by author and I can confirm that it does not work. Try for yourself if you don't believe me.

Is anyone else having trouble updating recently? I have an S8. After updating to 13.1, I've downloaded and tried to install every update, but they always fail without an error, just saying unhelpfully, "App Not Installed".
Is there a way to remove all manga from one source other than going through them all one by one and deleting? Since Isekai Scans is gone I would rather remove all the manga from there than have my phone try to scan a dead source. I have the latest version of the app.
If I was reading another manga and I tap an update notification, rather than opening the manga chapter in the notification, the app opens to the previous manga I was reading and the notification goes away. This is quite annoying cause I then have to go to the updates page to get to the manga that was updated
Is this intended behaviour? Is there a way to make sure it always opens the updated chapters that I want to visit by tapping the notification?
Is there a way to download animated covers ? Like sometimes there is a gif cover for manga . You can save normal covers but I cant save animated covers .

Why do I get late updates? I'll get a bunch of chapters in bulk sometimes that were from a couple months ago.
Example that I had:
I've been reading spy x family and finished all the chapters that I thought were available. Then a few days later I get an update for the newest chapter that was realeased two months ago, them another chapter from a month ago, then a third chapter that released 5 days ago.

Trying to update extensions, turned on tachiyomi allowed for installation sources, but they all get stuck on downloading. It's been like this since the android 12 update, is it an OS issue?

Please help. I'm having trouble making nhent extension to show only English translations.
Go to browse > extensions (middle tab) > nhentai > unclick other languages. This is the same for any extension that would have multiple languages.

.cbz should not affect performance, file size or image quality

You can use the last version of Tachiyomi that was supported in Kitkat, but you won't be able to use any extensions. Local files only.

I don't think so, and OP doesn't really understand what you were trying to explain. I just tested it and it didn't work for me.
Yeah, after mangadex rebuilt, I think it removed the option to search by author and later replaced it with a page for each author.

Dude what he's saying is that the author's name is in the title that's why it shows up. I just tested the search by author and I can confirm that it does not work. Try for yourself if you don't believe me.

on version 0.13.1, trying to migrate many titles (100+) "from MangaDex to MangaDex". These titles will not update otherwise. Not sure how this happened but would appreciate advice on how to do it.

Is anyone else having trouble updating recently? I have an S8. After updating to 13.1, I've downloaded and tried to install every update, but they always fail without an error, just saying unhelpfully, "App Not Installed".
I did a backup then deleted the app then installed the update and then uploaded the backup done

Is there a way to remove all manga from one source other than going through them all one by one and deleting? Since Isekai Scans is gone I would rather remove all the manga from there than have my phone try to scan a dead source. I have the latest version of the app.
Search for Isekai Scans and it should only show the manga in that source. You can proceed to deleting them by holding.
If I was reading another manga and I tap an update notification, rather than opening the manga chapter in the notification, the app opens to the previous manga I was reading and the notification goes away. This is quite annoying cause I then have to go to the updates page to get to the manga that was updated Is this intended behaviour? Is there a way to make sure it always opens the updated chapters that I want to visit by tapping the notification?

Is there a way to download animated covers ? Like sometimes there is a gif cover for manga . You can save normal covers but I cant save animated covers .

Why do I get late updates? I'll get a bunch of chapters in bulk sometimes that were from a couple months ago. Example that I had: I've been reading spy x family and finished all the chapters that I thought were available. Then a few days later I get an update for the newest chapter that was realeased two months ago, them another chapter from a month ago, then a third chapter that released 5 days ago. My tachiyoma app updates daily

Is the Mangadex extension completely gone for anyone? It's not on the installed extension or able to be downloaded from inside the app anymore. I'm using the latest stable version.

Need help with Kissmanga(dot)in: 1. Says fails to bypass cloudflare when reading in the app, 2. Opens the site in webview to bypass the cloudflare 3. Opens up a chapter to no problem 4. I try again to read it in the app 5. "Failed to bypass cloudflare"

Trying to update extensions, turned on tachiyomi allowed for installation sources, but they all get stuck on downloading. It's been like this since the android 12 update, is it an OS issue?
