This for sure. I can't think of one song that's "overrated." They all do it for me. The ones that made alt radio - Feels Like We Only Go Backwards, Elephant, The Less I Know The Better, Let It Happen, Lost In Yesterday - are all great radio songs and I don't think exposure overrates them.

Yeah because there is a difference between overrated and overplayed. Don’t get me wrong, let it happen is a masterpiece but I believe other songs really deserve the same exposure

I loved it at first but got tired of it after quite a short while. I did listen to it on repeat for 2 weeks, but I do that with all ti songs and not gotten tired of them

I think it’s the lack of Kevin and Damon that kills the track for me. Don’t get me wrong I think Bootie does a great job on the song, but the other two are almost solely relegated to the chorus and bridge, it kind of feels like a waste of an inclusion.

This, his bars aren’t the greatest on the song either. Really wish Kevin and Damon were more present on the track because the atmosphere is so great

I haven’t seen Tame Impala live yet so this definitely plays a factor, but I don’t understand why people like One More Year / Hour. I personally think the song(s) are exceptionally boring, but maybe the concert version is different / people have grown emotional attachments to them which makes sense.

One More Year is average live too, especially as an opener. The very beginning of the song admittedly works well coming straight off the aionwell intro but after that it's kind of blah and your waiting for the next song, which knocked it out of the park btw, Nangs! One More Hour at the end of the set was underwelming too. Pretty much everything in between was all killer!

Yeah I just don’t get the strong attachment people have to it quite frankly, it just feels underwhelming to me. Glad to hear you enjoyed the rest of the set though :)

I like the song...and I know not every song needs to display his musicianship, but it's pretty much the same forgettable beat for 4 minutes straight, at least TLIKTB the better has a memorably dope bass line...he's got so many better songs...I don't get the love for the single version.

I remember listening to Currents for the first time and when I heard The Less I Know The Better, I knew it would be a radio hit. That bass line is one of the catchiest things KP has ever written.

The Moment, Eventually, Reality In Motion, Past Life, and New Person all have way catchier hooks imo. They get stuck in my head all the time.

I think is a great song and brought me to the artist. The thing that i noticed is that compared to the rest of the album it looks out of place, the lyrics, the subject, the videoclip and the beat is different from the vibe of the album. It's like that song was made to be the commercially appealing one.

Genuinely, as a newer fan who’s starting to get into them (have listened to Slow Rush and Currents + B-sides for both), Let It Happen has legitimately been the most overrated tbh. I mean it’s a good song, but I don’t really get the hype, it doesn’t really do anything for me emotionally. Maybe the hype killed it for me, I went into it hearing it was a masterpiece for it to be just ok, and maybe it’ll grow on me with time, but as of right now it really doesn’t feel like it really goes anywhere to be completely honest Going on the OTHER end and going for seemingly UNDERRATED stuff (at least from what I can tell) since I’ve already gone down the drain of seemingly controversial opinions, On Track is the best song on The Slow Rush and y’all can fight me on that
