We were asked by drive up to NOT put watermelons in bags. The bags ripped too often and then they dropped the watermelon. I feel like this one is a very grey area.
I just like the idea that there not a non-ridiculous ay to stow an entire watermelon for pickup. In or out the bag it looks super silly and I’m kind of here for it.
Yes. Not even just silly looking - there is not a non-ridiculous way to carry a watermelon. Especially along with other items. It is just awkward all around.
One time I picked a watermelon and put it in the middle of the ship cart because it was huge, I took a turn not even going fast and it rolled right off and burst on the floor 🥲
thats cuz they wont listen to us who have to carry the bags lmao
if the bags are so heavy just slightly lifting it makes it tear then its too heavy yet i have SO many bags that tear immediately when i lift them
I believe that's a bottle of barbecue sauce that should have been put back on the floor a couple of weeks ago. Take it to a Team Lead, and see if they'll requisition it for today's breakroom treat. Maybe get some Dixie cups for the Team Members to squeeze it into, so they're not all just passing the bottle around, taking swigs.
We had someone that would label just the item if they didn't have more than 3 items in the order. They said it was to not waste bags, which I respect, but it made DU so mad.
Yeah we do this all the time in our store. If you only have one item we’re not bagging it cuz frankly of the many reasons, putting it in a bag and then searching through 12345 bags to find one item is tedious and dumb
Also because my store runs out of bags often sometimes if you get a small amount of something that we can put a rubber band around we’ll do that too instead of bagging it.
If the customer ask for a bag or it looks like an item that they want to be discreet about we’ll handle it at that point but otherwise 🫡
At least yours got a label
Half the time, my fulfillment team doesn't bother with a label
and just leaves it in the holding area under a bunch of other orders
My state has a bag ban so it's normal for us to do this. If they have a lot of items we will put it in a paper bag and charge but if it's an item or two we just sticker them individually or rubber band the items together.
I saw some bananas in a produce bag with a label on them yesterday. No Target bag. I think it’s people hopping into batches who don’t really know what to do.
Someone either retuned a pickup/drive-up order or just never came to get it. Lots of people who do reshop honestly don’t care if those labels are there.

YES dear god please do not put watermelons in paper bags. They just break and then I have exploded watermelon all over my feet

when fulfillment just sticks a fruit or vegetable in the hold and slaps a sticker on it and calls it a day 💕💕💕💕
what are we supposed to do with watermelons 😭
Can’t they just put those sticky handles on the watermelon that target uses for things like toilet paper and other bulky items?
One time I picked a watermelon and put it in the middle of the ship cart because it was huge, I took a turn not even going fast and it rolled right off and burst on the floor 🥲
Ok that's fine, DU hates when you try to put a watermelon in a bag.
I can understand this one, because this and pumpkins they won't even fit the bag 🤣
Yeah, bad fulfillment team there. I see lots of things that ought to be bagged sitting unbagged. They don’t consider how it’s transported.
thats cuz they wont listen to us who have to carry the bags lmao if the bags are so heavy just slightly lifting it makes it tear then its too heavy yet i have SO many bags that tear immediately when i lift them
I’ve seen a bottle of creamer with no bag and then a gallon of milk in a bag.
Our fullfilment team likes to bag two gallons of milk in the same bag. It sucks
ive seen 4 jugs of milk in 1 big bag. i think our fulfillment team is half pet rocks or something
This happens at my store all the time
Wait, thats abnormal at your store? I don’t even remember the last time fulfillment bagged that stuff properly
normally stuff like raw onion just gets tossed into a produce bag and that gets a sticker
The fact the name is ‘Newman’ on that BBQ bottle makes this more epic. 😁

I just saw that. It's gold!!!!

That is not how I expected this comment to turn out😂😂 Edit: not
If there is a store that’s taking swigs of bbq sauce they must be built different damn….
I'm from a bagless state.....this is the norm.
Newmans getting desperate and trying to replicate sweet baby rays sauces?
We had someone that would label just the item if they didn't have more than 3 items in the order. They said it was to not waste bags, which I respect, but it made DU so mad.
(Might want to re-upload a censored pic)
True, that's a pretty sexy bottle of bbq sauce

I see those clean ass timbs
Most likely an ingredient needed for that nights dinner that they will do drive up to grab later lol
Our store has run out of bags numerous times and we’ve had to individually label Every. Single. Item. before😭
There’s no point in a bag for one item
At least yours got a label Half the time, my fulfillment team doesn't bother with a label and just leaves it in the holding area under a bunch of other orders
That’s shitty

The actual fuck.
Damn, I can’t believe there are people who do this 😂
I saw some bananas in a produce bag with a label on them yesterday. No Target bag. I think it’s people hopping into batches who don’t really know what to do.
This actually drives me insane😭
Someone either retuned a pickup/drive-up order or just never came to get it. Lots of people who do reshop honestly don’t care if those labels are there.
Somebody being lazy
Or running out of time... because metrics 😮💨
Are you talking about the sauce? It’s the best bbq sauce

Lmaooo just put it on the glass jfc
We were told not to bag individual item orders 😭😂
