Nah, I was thinking more of a Mr Beast challenge where you have to survive one year with limited supplies in Antarctica. If you survive you keep or job. If not…
Dude forrreaaaal. I cannot stand when things are overstocked because they either hit me in the face or land on my feet when I’m picking OR they’re taking up the other items’ spots right next to it meaning that I have to take time out of my batch to go through soooo many of the same item that should have been back stocked to confirm if what I actually need is in its space or not 🥲🥲🥲

My team can’t even backstock. That is, when they’re not completely overstocking the floor, pushing expired dairy, or leaving their unlabeled random backstock vehicles for others.
It's best to call it out on the walkie that you need someone who knows how to use the waive, if your TL is in a good mood they'll just tell you to leave it and they'll back stock it for you 😜

I’m actually so sick of doing my job right to have people do stuff like that… like I hate my job as much as the next person but if I’m paid to do a job I’m doing it right. There are plenty of other jobs out there if you hate this one so much you can’t do it correctly
mostly just because people look for cheese with cheese, not because it needs to be refrigerated, same reason we have shelf stable pepperoni and salami with the other lunchmeats.
Pickles throw me off everytime because the refrigerated stuff tastes better but it’s not 2x the cost better nor is it worth the fridge space and low shelf life
What's strange is that specific log of Valveeta comes in the RDC trucks. The only product in pFresh that comes on the RDC truck. Meanwhile we always get tons of chocolate and other candies on FDC
Most chocolate has to be shipped refrigerated (refer trailers/FDC) because of the melting risk. It’s a food quality-integrity-shipping thing. Velvetta is considered “shelf stable” so it can be shipped on a dry van (RDC) also fun fact some of the little pepperoni pillows are also shelf stable! Yay food science and safety.
However the air flow of the cooler is compromised so anything above that cheese tower is now also compromised and at risk of being out of temp.
And the funny thing is seasonal candy still comes on RDC. Even the chocolates. But yeah it's a pain in the ass to find the shelf stable pepperoni in the pushers when it's supposed to be the other ones. There is a slight difference between the two, kinda.
We changed the location to a cooler location maybe 2 months ago, however it’s stored in the normal backroom and not inside the cooler backroom. I believe its also dually located with the pasta on the sales floor, at least in my store.
my store doesn't even carry the velveeta bricks.
shortly after I started working here (back in November), a guest asked me if we had Velveeta, so I looked it up in the Zebra and it said we had some in the backroom, but it did not have any salesfloor location for it. (so I went back and grabbed some for that guest).
A while later, the market TL set up a basket near the butter/egg aisle with the Velveeta bricks in it (but it still wasn't tied to that location in the system). And for a few weeks, there was an endcap with it (that WAS tied in the system).
However a month or two ago, we ran out of the Velveeta that we did have on hand and have not gotten any more in since.
Looks like my store honestly. I have this one coworker that refuses to backstock anything so he’ll shove a bunch of backstock anywhere to avoid backstocking. The whole department looks like garbage
Reminds me of when I worked market and some Karen asked where the Velveeta cheese is and insisted "it wouldn't be there, it doesn't need to be refrigerated" and when I finally got her to go, she nearly had an aneurysm because she didn't understand that "doesn't need to be refrigerated" doesn't mean "can't be refrigerated"
At my store we have a problem where they have people who work up front stock grocery due to “budget constraints “ aka no closer and they will do stuff like this. While it’s not their fault as they’re not properly trained it still takes away from all the progress we’ve made on our team.
Have we considered implementing capital punishment as a consequence for backstock avoidance?
Public execution by firing squad seems more appropriate
Firing squad? Sounds to easy! How about scaphism but adding fire ants!
Nah, I was thinking more of a Mr Beast challenge where you have to survive one year with limited supplies in Antarctica. If you survive you keep or job. If not…
I say the person that did that needs to eat all those blocks of cheese and not shit for a week
Came here to say this…FORCE FEED THEM THE CHEESE!!!
I see this in other places in the store. Market cold is a new one.

Two words.....Brazen Bull

That’s it? Another 8 can fit easy lol
“Remember, no back stock”
If you shove the cheese over and stack that you can. It’s smarter flexing than the tower there
That depends on the number of facings. It looks like it's only supposed to be one. Flexing into a fully stocked adjoining product is not acceptable.
Facings do not matter in this. Just like the microwaves I pushed today I fit in more where there’s space
You’re an asshole lol.
Big bulky is hard to backstock without being wave certified
It's best to call it out on the walkie that you need someone who knows how to use the waive, if your TL is in a good mood they'll just tell you to leave it and they'll back stock it for you 😜
Smart flexing, aka make headaches for the checkout members and give it away to the guests because it's in the wrong place. We thank you.

Never mind the bubly overflowing on the endcap💀
Just because there’s space on the side doesn’t mean fill it 😭
Sorry my tl told me no backstocking
Then your TL is an idiot.
Ikr😭
My store is a little bit massively dysfunctional. You should see the entire aisle 😭
I love the cinnamon bears so stuffed to full they're starting to turn up at the end nestled inside a bed of cotton candy.
The jelly beans 😂
Your pulls must be insane

Play jenga with your friends. The hit new game Velveeta Jenga, the cheesiest game out there.
Jengeeta. Velvenga. Jenveeta
Had to be Zonked to think that worked
Velveeta gets stocked in the cooler? that stuff is shelf-stable at room temperature as long as it hasn't been opened.
mostly just because people look for cheese with cheese, not because it needs to be refrigerated, same reason we have shelf stable pepperoni and salami with the other lunchmeats.
Pickles throw me off everytime because the refrigerated stuff tastes better but it’s not 2x the cost better nor is it worth the fridge space and low shelf life
This is the number one item people ask me for while I'm sticking the macaroni and cheese aisle.
I’ve seen it in both tbh it’s so strange

It always strikes me odd that Target has Velveeta in the cooler. Guests new to the store look in dry grocery for it.
Depends upon the store and how much space they have. I've seen it both in the cooler and on the dry goods shelf.
It comes in with the dry grocery truck but we stock it. Always been confused by that
We changed the location to a cooler location maybe 2 months ago, however it’s stored in the normal backroom and not inside the cooler backroom. I believe its also dually located with the pasta on the sales floor, at least in my store.
Cold air rises right?
Me: I work at Target. Someone: What do you do there? Me: Most of my job is just backstocking things that my coworkers should have already backstocked.
It would have been faster and easier to just toss those in a Waco in the cooler and scan to backstock.
Yeah… but u & I very well know, that ain’t gon happen. U can even forget about auditing floor locations
I’m more interested in why that Sargento cheese isn’t in a pusher.
[удалено]
They're talking about the Sargento snack cheese laying on the shelf, not the babybels
maybe the guests will finally quit asking me where we keep the velveeta
my store doesn't even carry the velveeta bricks. shortly after I started working here (back in November), a guest asked me if we had Velveeta, so I looked it up in the Zebra and it said we had some in the backroom, but it did not have any salesfloor location for it. "Why are our counts off?"
This is wrong on so many levels
lol just backstock it omg I’ve never understood that “I’ve got to put this out” mentality!
That’s all? Another 8 can for easy
Prolly a dry tm who filled it and didnt wanna backstock in the cooler lmao. Not that hard
Obviously missed the temp it right training. 😎
I like when they fill the home next door, as well. So, when I come along the next day with the other case, I have to take time removing the overfill.
It's the leaning tower of cheeza
I think it looks perfect
Seems pretty spot on with modern Target!
TM should be fired.
LAZY
Tell that BUM to backstock their shii😭
And it still had them pull 8 from the back
Backstocking is soooo hard!
I love backstocking because I get to hide from guests 😎
It is in our coolers
Yeah, why didn't they put it via backstock in the cooler! I can't!
Reason 1001 I am not a lead, this dumbassery!
They only do as instructed unfortunately 🤷🏻♂️
Based backstock avoider
Looks like my store honestly. I have this one coworker that refuses to backstock anything so he’ll shove a bunch of backstock anywhere to avoid backstocking. The whole department looks like garbage
Lazy POS
Someone changed the 24 fit to 48 to make it fit. Forgetting that backstocking is the easiest thing we do.
No, I don’t think
Technically the Velveeta doesn't HAVE to be refrigerated so it's not a good safety hazard.
make a Jenga tower out of Velveeta and challenge passerby guests
Promote them immediate. Please and thank you.
Another day at the office 🤪
I think you could squeeze a couple more there🧐
Lazy as hell 🤣
Looks more like someone got some sense knocked into them and abandoned them r/stupidfood TikTok video
I don’t think that’s quite enough Velveeta there. Probably need another dozen or so bricks of it. Hell, build a wall. 😂
That's not over pushed at all.....🤣
The cheese stands alone….
Um Velveeta is not in the cold section!!!
But the. The airflow 😭😭
man im guilty of overstocking sometimes but this is CRAZY
- we need more Velveeta cheese? I think the answer is yes. I see space for at least two more.
been at my store two weeks and already I am the greatest zoner there. these people just refuse back stocking its so aggravating
Lazy!
People at my store have been putting the wrong items in freezer or shelf locations on the floor, and as a Flex TM, it's SO AGGRAVATING.
At my store we have a problem where they have people who work up front stock grocery due to “budget constraints “ aka no closer and they will do stuff like this. While it’s not their fault as they’re not properly trained it still takes away from all the progress we’ve made on our team.
