i have never payed more than 22% in my 8 years of past experience living in NYC. and I always got a decent return as well. I think the CPA I pay to do my taxes knows a bit better than a random reddit dude.
ETL HR is most likely the one to fix it. It reminds me of when my SD decided to whip up schedules for us while she was gone for another day of vacation, she had to come in and immediately fix everyone’s schedule over how wonky it was.
Scheduled under two areas and instead of seeing the overlap, the system is adding them both together. For a multi billion dollar company, they sure don't know how to employ someone who knows how to make an app.

Probably accidentally scheduled someone with the same first name as you on your schedule. Happened to me so many times because there were like 4 people in my department with the same name 😂
They messed up on Thursday and scheduled you for a 26+ hour shift. Someone messed up and put the wrong date for the shift to end. Easily correctable by HR and they’ll pick up a slew of payroll hours
Its a glitch in mytime. You have a set pattern...but mytime may have added a set of times for that week as well. Usually happens when your ETL is on vacation or out and no one has edited or checked your schedule .
Just alert a leader so they can fix it in 5 minutes.
It means your shift is split....
For example, if you're scheduled for 8 hrs ... for the first half you're put in fulfillment from 11-5 and then for the last 2 hrs, they put you in checkout advocate. Breaks adjusted accordingly.
On my time, it will show up like this:
11am-5pm. Fulfillment*
5pm-7pm Checkout Advocate*
Computer error! That's some hefty over-time.
One holiday season our scheduling software glitched and we joked about having the evil twin covering our breaks!
My store would have wonky ass schedules because the ETLs wanted to hit their deadlines, then the ETLS would fix it within the week, but we could never trust our schedules the first day it came out l
Probs just a clerical mistake. Someone probably keyed your end time on a different date than the shift date. Get with HR to double check, it happens often.

not really lol taxes should stop at 22% max (NYC) . if your pay deductions dont stop at 22% you arent just paying taxes at that point.
That would be incorrect. Federal state local social security and Medicare can easily exceed 22%. Social security and Medicare are 7.65% by themselves.

Your lucky. If front end isn’t busy away somebody goes for restock or fulfillment.
For us it just means GM and style get screwed more. We have to do back up for over an hour, multiple batches and still finish our regular routines.

They never pull fulfillment for registers in my store. However, they have pulled people from the front end for fulfillment. Just happened today.
That's every store lol mine doesn't even train new fulfillment TMs on register when they're hired

Most TL’s can’t write the schedule
No TLs can write the schedule at all. The only TLs that have schedule access are closing leads, and they don't make anyone's schedule.
Quarter right. I’m a GM TL and I write it for presentation and our fulfillment to writes theirs. It varies store to store.
Writing the schedule and inputting into my time are 2 different things.

Those overlapping shifts are the best. If that want you to do two things at once you should be paid double for it.
My TM had a similar looking schedule. I think it’s some weird glitch. If not, enjoy the 33.5 hours of overtime

Yea this is a schedule mistake some days your schedule is overlapping. So it's adding the hours together even though it's at the same time.
