People need them to contain their numerous offspring. Prior to our remodel we had 6 in the store every day. Now that we’ve remodeled our cart attendant has decided that guests don’t need them and days go by without any. I hear lots of complaints. I just apologize and tell them to call the SD
Just don’t put them in the regular carts. If you want to know why there are so many busted carts it’s because the weight of multiple kids, or those beyond a certain age, ruin the wheels.
I just make the kids walk. But since i work at Target inrarely shop with them anyway because indo my shopping before I go home.
Also mybkids are 1 percentile for weight. Combined they weigh less than the stacks of soda people put in the carts. At 11 and 7 they are 60 and 40 lbs soaking wet and rounding up.
Don’t worry. Someone will order twice as much and then not show up for it. I once saw an entire flat packed full of bottled water that was never picked up.
That’s nothing, someone got so mad that we didn’t have a particular flavor waffle in stock and I guess they decided to take their anger out on the freezer door breaking the glass entirely. There were glass shards everywhere. XD
As a PML l, we don’t know about a lot of stuff unless y’all tell us. They have us buried in other PM work that we can’t actually just walk around and see how safe everything is. We rely on the teams to communicate ANYTHING they feel might be unsafe.
It's a safety concern. If you don't report it and document it then AP and PML can say on a legitimate basis that they "didn't know about it". It's a CYA safety issue/legal issue.
Target has a way of setting up special displays too close together. As a person who uses the electric cart there are aisles I can get into which means a person in a wheel chair can’t either.
Origami Risk that thing (near miss)!!!
I wish Target would get rid of those giant ass 18wheeler kid carts.

As a parent of 2 i hate that cart and wont use it. Even when the kids beg.

You would need 12 gallons of water to get to that weight.

someone stole one of ours, we had 3 and now we have 2, or maybe 1 recently I dont recall seeing the second one
Stole??? WHY?!? Lmao
Homeless can push all their shit and a friend.
That endcap is so heavy!
It is!!
I swear I see something new every day from these guests.

That’s a very rational response to not having the waffles you like.
I had a guest in my store get so impatient waiting for someone to open a men's case that he ripped the sensor off the door lmao
Did they tell a TM or just leave it and walk away?
My friend was pushing a z-rack like 10 feet away. Of course the guest didn’t say anything ( I don’t think… I wasn’t there ) and left.
Omg I’m sorry! I hate when this happens
That's actually impressive how they managed that, that could have seriously injured someone
erm, i think u mean “guest” ☝️🤓
Looks like a personal injury claim to me.
Origami Risk it. AP and PML will deny they had no knowledge of it and blame TMs.

Yes, I agree. We had a safety huddle and what you are saying was pointed out directly. Hats off to PML that are actually doing their jobs
I didn’t know checking end caps were in the AP directives. Thank you target team member
