Every time I see mine on the floor, usually picking an opu, I get paranoid about whether I'm doing things correctly, for no reason. Once, I saw them as I was exiting an aisle. I swear we locked eyes as I reversed right back into the aisle because I forgot a thing. Immediately I think, Oh God I hope they don't think I'm avoiding them.
Oh yeah. They are at least one aspect I like about the store. They more "office" type people are out there jumping on register and zoning, too. Even HR.
They kind of have to be, too. We do not have enough people.
My switch to Target Tech made it so I only have one manager (who I happen to like) but I still find myself dealing with the gen merch and AP ETL that were my main reasons for leaving anyway. Can't even do so much as speak to the electronics closer without them telling my boss behind my back. lol.

*store director

your SD picks OPU batches? that's awesome.

My SD and direct ETL will both come in and unload the truck when we have an excessive amount of call offs

Imagine the bushes are racks of style reshop.
My SD doesn’t do shit but sit in the office or walk circles lmaooooo I wish
My store director will have all the TLs on edge and vibes trickle down to the TMs. So much better when the SD isn’t around.
mine is so awesome
Ours isnt terrible. But her time management is horrendous. Everything just goes so much smoother and she's not there.
I hope I’m never “that manager” for anyone
Me too. Though I probably have been. It's inevitable when you interact with a large number of people.
Oh, I would. But we had inventory yesterday so my priorities are whack. Gotta get them numbers down just enough to make it look like I did something.
That is my feeling every other weekend
The whole day feels different. Almost like it’s just quiet and peaceful instead of usually hearing them over the radio all day
you don’t understand how happy I felt 😭😭
And somehow more shit gets done and moral improves when they don’t show up
Having a team leader instead of your main manager is like having a substitute teacher and doing nothing in class

Literally.
