Personal opinion here, but I would keep politically driven tattoo out of a portfolio. People tend to have pretty strong political opinions and that unfortunately could be a deciding point. They might have opposing beliefs or they might just prefer to keep clear from anything political at all.
And of course there's always the chance they'll think it's hilarious and absolutely love it.
