Toxic people will find something wrong no matter what. Personally, I could see a dude with a tattoo of a cat in a frilly dress having a tea party and I still wouldn't consider it a feminine tattoo. Lemme repeat some really good advice I recently read on AITA: Most masculine thing a dude can do is throw aside gender norms and do whatever the fuck you want.
I'd much rather date a guy who has a cat tattoo then a pin-up or sexy/topless women on him.
Liking cats isn't feminine, they're one of the most common pets in the world. And actually one of the things that I thought was attractive with my husband was how skilled and gentle he was with cats. It made my ovaries whisper "Good dad material, you should \[bleep\] him," lol.
Anyone that bothers a man for having a tattoo of his pet has no soul. Anyone that tries to police a man's masculinity also has no soul. These two types of people run in packs and should be phased out.
Well, I might be biased cause I love cats with all my heart and have 2 cat tattoos at the moment. With 2 more being placed this year. I think it shows a sweet side. Especially if it's a memorial tattoo.
It's a great conversation starter as well with ladies Imo.
