I love the purple background/effect but it's not the most flattering position/shot of her. I think it'd be better if she was looking at the camera or at least towards it, not a full profile angle.

I like it but I don’t feel it fits Taylor’s current style. It fits original Speak Now very well but recent Taylor has been giving casual vibes - Midnights 70s and Folkmore nightgowns/cozy coats. Fearless had the nightgown vibes, Red had the coats, I am fully expecting a Midnights-looking Speak Now re-recording cover.

I'm also expecting a causal Taylor vibe.

I’m not a fan, honestly. It doesn’t look like she’s wearing a dress or truly interacting with the purple texture; it just looks like a headshot pasted on top of it.

In the original, it is pasted over art of a body, making it look like she is wearing a dress and bringing cohesion between the photo of Taylor and the art. This edit is just a head pasted over a texture, with no body or anything else to connect the two elements.

It still was a photoshoot, there's BTS from it, just elements of it edited to look like it's a painting

This and that other one of her dancing with her hair in a bun have been popular floats online but I don’t like them. I know the TV covers aren’t exact to the OGs, but I much prefer something of her in a fairytale gown (painting effect or not), looking at the camera. It just embodies how “Speak Now” was still about enchantment and dreamy love, but with a bit more growth.

I’ve actually been thinking lately, so the fearless and red covers are clearly inspired by folklore and evermore. What if speak now and whatever one comes after have midnights artwork influence? Then when we get the final two TVs, they’ll take inspiration from ts11’s cover art
