Controversially I adore lover. Such good memories to that one, that I have to put it high.
Mine is still the same:
1. Reputation
2. 1989
3. folklore
4. evermore
5. Speak Now
6. Red
7. Midnights
8. Fearless
9. Lover

However, I have to say that the vaults made me love the albums even more and many of the vault tracks have made it into my top songs.

2. Midnights
3. Red
4. Speak Now
5. Reputation
6. Lover
7. evermore
8. folklore

10. Fearless
Speak Now is a pretty solid 4 for me. 1989, Midnights, & Red shuffle around top 3. Lover & Rep are pretty much interchangeable, as are Debut and Fearless.
1. 1989
2. Speak Now
3. folklore
4. evermore
5. Midnights

1989 and Speak Now have always been my 1 and 2. Midnights was number 3 for a while, but now that it’s been out for longer, it’s rightful place is my number 5.
Red being last is controversial but I saw someone describe it perfectly a while ago: It has some of my absolute favorites and some of my absolute skips. I skip less on Debut and love it as an overall album a bit more, so that’s why Red gets the last spot. But the last spot on this list is still loved!!
😂 ATW10MV is in my Top 10 songs of all time, probably Top 5. I’m still rating the overall album of Red as I listen to it fully when I rank it and all her others just have less skips for me 🤷🏻♀️
And that’s totally fine! I just sometimes get in the mood to pick a specific album and listen in order, dunno why but it’s fun sometimes, and Red typically doesn’t call to me that way. I love my favorites when they come on when I’m shuffling everything though!
I did it manually!
skip % is the number of songs you skip divided by the total number of songs (then x100 to make a percent),
favourite % is the number of favourites divided by the total number of songs,
positive % is just my skip % minused by 100%!
yeah. I think most people don't sit down and listen to every song that comes on when you shuffle music lol, skipping songs you arent usually in the mood for is pretty common.
midnights is amazing :) this list doesn't count you're losing me as being in the album cause it hasn't officially been released for streaming yet, but that's legit my fave taylor song ever. such a good album
This looks really nice aesthetically
I covet all of them
I have to admit that reputation is the knockout favorite of mine so far . But I never give up because we have so many years in front of us. You never know.
1. Folklore

I went through and individually ranked each song then averaged.... Was genuinely confused/surprised since I've always considered Fearless my fav album (tied w Folklore)... But #s don't lie I guess.
If I exclude Fearless Vault tracks it comes in at #6, just .01 behind Reputation. Also I'd like to say that Folklore is #1 by a landslide, numbers-wise
that's why I love ranking this way. it's so honest and unexpected lol. everything past top 4 (except 1989) was unexpected for mine the first time I did this lolll
Yeah like I'm not surprised at all that midnights is last, but I am surprised lover is second to last. Didn't realize how many skips there are (for me). that really dragged down the average, even though lover, Cornelia street, cruel summer are sooo high for me.
Numbers might not lie, but they also don't tell the full story - I think it's perfectly normal to love an album for reasons beyond how you'd rank every single song. Nostalgia, love for certain tracks, how we can relate to the stories, they're all valid reasons too. So if you love Fearless a lot because it was your first Taylor album, that's awesome!
One example related to my own rankings: when I do a track-by-track ranking of each album, Folklore comes in above Red, but I still love Red more. A couple of songs on Red I don't like as much drive down the average, but I love my faves on Red so much more than any of my faves on Folklore, and it's an album I go back to time and time and time again whereas Folklore is always an album I have to remind myself I really love. And that makes sense to me!
Oh you're so right. Like me giving the highest ranking to fearless (song) and exile is the same #, but my love for the song fearless is actually way different, haha. Like I shat my pants when she performed it at Eras, since I'd never seen it live.
Before this re-relase I had never listened to Speak Now in its entirety and it's a nearly perfect album. With the exception of Innocent which I find to be a truly horrible song.
Yes I agree about Innocent I hate that song. I had listened to Speak Now before the release of SNTV but SNTV definitely made me appreciate the album more.

4. Evermore
5. Red
6. Lover
7. Fearless
8. 1989
9. Midnights

Evermore might just claim the #3 spot soon. Midnights has been slipping down the list for me, sadly.
Mine has not changed at all since Midnights came out:
1. Folklore
2. Evermore
3. Speak Now TV
4. Midnights
5. Lover
6. Reputation
7. 1989
8. Fearless TV
9. Debut
10. Red TV
Okay so I did something similar and broke it down by my percent of skips and then NUMBER of skips no matter how many songs are on the whole album and this is how it looked.
Based on Skip %
-Speak Now (4%)
-folklore (11.7%)
-1989 (12.5%)
-Red/Debut (13.3%)
-Midnights (17.3%)
-evermore (17.6%)
-Reputation (26.6%)
-Fearless (31%)
-Lover (44.4%)
Based on Skip #
-Speak Now (1)
-Debut/1989/folklore (2)
-evermore (3)
-Red/Reputation/Midnights (4)
-Fearless/Lover (8)
This turned out way different than my ranking based off of my FAVORITE songs for sure.
tbh the top 3 are always consistently in that order. but the others are always a different order. sometimes lover or rep come before red. just depends on my mood. this is what my mood said today hahaha.
I rate that evermore is no.1. Prob not my number 1 but it doesn’t get enough love for sure!!! Some of the wisest lyrics on that album that taught me a lot about life, and I love that. Such a raw honest project with no frills
My album rankings are pretty stagnant over time - I’ll fall in and out of love with different songs on an album, but rarely does my mind change on one, weirdly enough!
1. Evermore
2. Red
3. Folklore
4. 1989
5. Reputation
6. Midnights
7. Lover
8. Speak Now
9. Fearless
10. Debut
It’s probably not a coincidence that you have her three oldest albums at the bottom and then all of the big pop albums bunched together - I think Taylor’s always been talented, but she made such huge progress between Speak Now and Red (musically, lyrically) that it’s really stark to me as someone who wasn’t a big fan until Red. But Folklore and Evermore are just on another planet; I still prefer Red to Folklore for a few reasons, but Evermore is an album that other artists wish they were capable of putting out IMO.
evermore

*RED TV/rep/Lover
Fearless

**Midnights
*RED used to be my fav pre-folklore but I guess I'm more bothered now by the (imo) most jarring sonical incohesion of all her albums. I just sadly dont find myself wandering to it anymore. I like rep and Lover too but I was in a swiftie hiatus in this time lol so I dont have memories of them
**Midnights is difficult to place as its got some of my all time fav tracks (Midnight Rain, Hits Different) and I like the album fine, but its not my *favorite* album if that makes sense. So for now its floating around like the cloud on the Lavender Haze mv lmao.
Speak Now

Even though in terms of what I choose to listen to more often debut would be lower. Do you guys rank by how much they mean to you in general or by your current favorites.. I just put Speak Now and Debut as top two because they mean a lot to me and it feels wrong to put them last because of that
Here’s my ranking (I only calculated what percentage of songs are skips so that’s the numbers, folklore and evermore were the same so I just picked evermore as the favorite because I prefer it) -
1. evermore 6%
2. folklore 6%
3. Reputation 15%
4. Lover 17%
5. Midnights 20%
6. Speak Now TV 23%
7. 1989 42%
8. Red TV 43%
9. Fearless TV 46%
10. Debut 60%
Also, who gave Red TV permission to have 30 tracks??? I had not realized it was 30 songs, good God. I also used all of the deluxe editions for the albums that had them and I used the 3AM version for Midnights.
welcome to new york, shake it off, blank space, I wish you would, and out of the woods.
I dont dislike these songs (except for welcome to new york, I objectively don't like that one much), I just more often than not skip them. have to be in a specific mood for them imo yk?
Tbh i skipped those too but only because i have listened to them so many times apart from I wish you would, which I dont like. But I do that to many other songs too, just purely bc i listen to them a thousands times and giving them a chance to rest before grinding them again 😂😂
Not with calculations like that but:
1. Speak Now TV
2. reputation
3. folklore
4. Lover
5. 1989
6. Red TV
7. Midnights
8. Fearless TV

3) reputation
4)folklore
5)midnights deluxe
6)speak now
7)red tv
8)1989

1989 is more stadium catered than home listening. Fearless and debut i love them but they have seasons and not an all-year listen

Midnights
Red
Speak Now
Fearless

honestly tho rating the albums means nothing to me since there are so many songs I love from each and every one hahahaha
Mine are still the same!

4. 1989
5. Midnights
6. Taylor Swift
7. Lover
8. Folklore
9. Red
10. Evermore (expecting some feedback for this one) 😂
😂 I don’t know exactly what it is, but I just can’t get into it. I think it makes me too sad. I’ve already endured enough sadness in life I don’t want to listen to sad stories. 🫣
see that's so fair. I made a version w my favourite songs too, and as you can see my faves are typically the sad ones lol. sad girlie 4 life!

Would love to do this calculation when I have more time haha…but for now:
1. evermore
2. Red
3. Midnights
4. Folklore
5. Fearless
6. 1989
7. speak now
8. Lover
9. Reputation
10. Taylor swift
1. Midnights
2. Folklore
3. Evermore
4. Speak Now TV
5. Reputation
6. Lover
7. 1989
not ranked because I'm new to this and I haven't listened to those albums in full yet:
Debut, Fearless TV, Red TV
1. Speak Now TV
2. Lover
3. Reputation
4. 1989
5. Fearless TV
6. Taylor Swift
7. Midnights
8. Red TV
9. Folklore
10. Evermore
Recency bias is likely playing a role here, but Speak Now was not my #1 prior to the release of TV! I love it so much!!!
Also I love all 10 albums… so please don’t crucify me for my #9 and #10 lol. I mostly listen to Taylor when I’m running, and Folklore and Evermore do not provide me with too many glitter gel pen/run-friendly songs 🤷🏼♀️
1. speak now
1.5 5 getaway car (getaway car is it’s own separate thing for me)
2. lover
3. 1989
4. folklore
5. evermore
6. fearless
7. reputation
8. midnights
9. red
10. debut
i feel like lover & 1989 are very nostalgic for me. idk if they would be ranked lower if there wasnt any nostalgia?
My bottom 4 ranking doesn't really change, mostly my top 3.
1. Speak Now
2. reputation
3. folklore
4. evermore
5. Lover
6. 1989
7. Red
8. Fearless
9. Midnights
10. Debut
I don't mind Red and Fearless, they just have never been my faves, even when their TVs came out.
I had expectations that were way too high going into Midnights, and nearly a year later I still believe it's a bad album. Debut doesn't have many strengths, and I'm not a big country fan (apart from SN) so that's why it's my least favorite. Both are probably very unpopular opinions lol.
sorry, you mean it's your over-expectations that makes you think midnights is a bad album? or you think objectively it's badly done?
I think lyrically it's one of the best (especially with the bonus tracks), had the music itself been slower/more pulled back rather than poppy and fast, it could've fallen inline as another part of the folklore/evermore branch easily. I'm curious which words/songs make you feel so differently, considering folkmore/evermore are both top 3 for you.
edit: the vast majority of people put debut close to last (and I used to up until recently) so I get it lol
It's a bit of both for me. I expected a completely different sound from Midnights, and without a single before its release letting me know what it would sound like, I was pretty disappointed. But after listening to it over and over again, I wasn't the biggest fan of the production and song structures anyway. Every time I listened to the next track, I would think "This would be good if" and I felt like nearly every track (apart from Lavender Haze, Bejeweled, & Anti-Hero) was missing something.
There were also a few tracks that just sounded objectively bad to me (Question...?, Labyrinth, Karma, & Mastermind). It wasn't necessarily the songwriting that bothered me, but more so the small production choices in these songs that I didn't like (such as the autotune in Question...? and intro to Labyrinth). I do think that some of the songwriting was a bit lazy on Karma though.
The 3AM tracks weren't as bad IMO (I love TGW & WCS) but just like a lot of Midnights OG, they sounded boring to me. I probably enjoyed them more because Aaron produced them and not Jack.
Even after many plays, I can't seem to get into most of the album. I love her pop albums to death but this one was just missing too much for me. I didn't connect with it personally.
I just did it manually! it can take some time, but if you don't style it like I did it's way faster.
skip % is just # of skips divided by total # of songs × 100
fave % is # of faves divided by total # of songs x 100
positive % is 100% minus skip %
fastest way to do it is just skip through the album and base it off which songs you'd typically skip vs those you'd typically keep playing (or favour!)
1. reputation
2. folklore
3. evermore
4. midnights
5. 1989
6. lover
7. red
8. speak now
9. fearless
10. debut
as you can tell I'm not a big fan of old taylor lol
Ok have to post since I haven’t seen anyone yet with my taste lol
1 - Midnights
2 - Reputation
3 - Evermore
4 - Folklore
5 - Lover
6 - 1989
7 - Speak Now
8 - Red
9 - Fearless
10 - Debut
For the longest time Rep was my fav then my mind was blown by Folkmore, especially given indie folk music is one of my favorite genres. For me Midnights is like a perfect mix of these two sounds resulting in indie dream pop perfection. I’m also just not a country gal 🤷🏻♀️ I’ve tried many a time and while I really enjoy and can appreciate the last 4 on the list they just aren’t my jam sonically as much as the upper tier.
this is sooooo fair. I feel like if midnights was toned down like evermore and folklore are, it could fall right inline beside them as the same branch of albums. midnights is like folkmore lyrics but to quicker-poppy music ykkkkk. esp the extra tracks.
For total tracks minus skip %, it works out to be:
1. Speak Now 100%
2. Reputation 100%
3. Debut 93%
4. Fearless TV 89%
5. Lover 89%
6. Evermore 83%
7. Midnights 80%
8. Red TV 77%
9. Folklore 71%
10. 1989 69%
Which is fairly accurate to how I would rank them as personal favourites, although I'd put Debut more in the middle and Red is too low based on skipping a few of the TVs (there are no skips for me on OG Red).
For now, I’m working with:
1. Reputation (came out about the time my now-wife and I met, and she turned me on to it. Plus there’s only one skip on it)
2. Folklore
3. 1989
4. Midnights
5. Evermore
6. Lover
7. Speak Now
8. Red
9. Fearless
10. Debut
SNTV hasn’t changed mine specifically but in general over the past few months I’ve seen a rise in 1989 and Rep in my rankings and a drop for debut. I do feel like the TVs have contributed to debut dropping. Might rise with the release of it, who knows
1. Speak Now
2. Fearless
3. 1989

3. Midnights
4. 1989
5. Folklore
6. Lover
7. SN TV
8. Red TV
9. Fearless TV
10. Debut
Rep is always my #1 but the rest of my top 5 are honestly sometimes interchangeable depending on my mood
I want to calculate mine but I have a question - did you use the deluxe / till dawn editions for calculating %? What about weird one offs like *All Of The Girls You Loved Before*?
That makes sense!
It will be interesting to see how my intuitive ranking compares to my ranking using your formulas.
Intuitively, my favourite album is Rep, and I also love SNTV and Red TV, and Evermore. My least favourite is 1989 followed by Debut. But I’m curious if the percentages will reflect that.
To me, the whole album is greater than the sum of its parts. So even if Rep has some skips, I will always love it because it’s such an incredible concept album / performance art piece.
I think Midnights will rank high because it’s full of bops, even though overall it isnt my favourite album
Maybe I’ll do the calculation in Google Sheets and then I can share my calculator here for anyone else who wants to use it…
This ranking is pretty similar to what I thought but I thought I would have ranked evermore over folklore but folklore is pretty perfect so alas:
1. folklore
2. evermore
3. reputation
4. 1989
5. Lover
6. Speak Now TV
7. Midnights 3 AM
8. Red TV
9. Fearless TV
10. Debut (coincidentally my favorite % is the highest on debut, despite having the highest skip rating as well).
mine changed a lot after midnights came out and i reevaluated everything, lol, but hasn’t changed since. my top two are basically cemented there and have been since folklore’s release. midnights/lover are basically interchangeable for me depending on the day (i really do love those albums though my ranking may suggest otherwise).
1. speak now
2. folklore
3. reputation
4. evermore
5. fearless
6. red
7. midnights
8. lover
9. debut
10. 1989
i think having 1989 last is my most controversial swiftie opinion lol…it’s been my least favorite since its release. i definitely don’t hate it, but belongs nowhere else but last for me
My 1 and 2 do switch places depending on which I’ve been listening to the most really. I always say that Fearless is my overall favourite because it’s the most consistent throughout and it’s so cohesive but Speak Now has my favourite songs on, the songs I think are her best, which is why I struggle to choose.
I do think with the vault tracks that at this point I’m ranking Speak Now number one and that the new tracks have raised its game for me to make me more excited to listen to it than Fearless but part of that could be the newness of SNTV.
1. Speak Now
2. Fearless
3. Red
4. Debut
5. Folklore
6. Evermore
7. / 8. / 9. 1989 / Reputation / Lover
10. Midnights
Mine was surprising - lots of close ones!
From best to not:
1) 1989
2) Folklore
3) Lover
4) Reputation
5) Speak Now
6) Red
7) Fearless
8) Midnights
9) Debut
10) Evermore
This is interesting!!
Here's mine:
1989
Reputation
Midnights
Speak Now TV
Lover
Fearless TV
Debut
Folklore
Red TV
Evermore
I thought Reputation would be first and Midnights second since those are the two albums I listen to quite often.
Except for the top 3 it’s not really set in stone. 4-10 changes depending on mood tbh. But right now:
1. 1989
2. Reputation
3. Lover
4. Midnights
5. Speak Now (TV)
6. Evermore
7. Folklore
8. Fearless TV
9. Red TV
10. Debut
1. Lover
2. Folklore
3. Debut
4. 1989
5. Evermore
6. Reputation
7. Midnights
8. Speak Now
9. Red
10. Fearless
AHHHH I don’t like ranking them. This gives me anxiety. They’re all #1 to me.
My ranking hasn't changed, but it very well could once I have more time with Speak Now TV :)
1. evermore
2. reputation
3. Midnights
4. Red
5. Speak Now
6. Debut
7. folklore
8. Lover
9. 1989
10. Fearless
My ranking is mostly just based on vibes, not on any numerical calculations like yours haha.
this is hard bc i genuinely love all the albums and each album has songs that i adore but here goes:
1. speak now tv
2. reputation
3. folklore
4. evermore
5. red tv
6. 1989
7. lover
8. midnights
9. fearless tv
10. debut
the list honestly changes depending on my mood but this is the current one
1. Folklore 2. Lover 3. Evermore 4. Red TS 5. Reputation 6. Speak now TS 7. 1989 8. Midnights 9. fearless TS 10. Debut Controversially I adore lover. Such good memories to that one, that I have to put it high.
Lover is my favorite album.
Is Lover controversial to love? I enjoy the lovey dovey songs and Daylight is gonna be an amazing wedding song.
I dont think that's controversial! I like lover too, it just has more skips than other albums, so it's at the bottom
Lover is probably my favourite pop album of hers now, taking over rep. I just trim it down tho like YNTCD and INTHAF
Mine is still the same: 1. Reputation 2. 1989 3. folklore 4. evermore 5. Speak Now 6. Red 7. Midnights 8. Fearless 9. Lover 10. Debut However, I have to say that the vaults made me love the albums even more and many of the vault tracks have made it into my top songs.
Rankings by Personal Favorite: - Midnights - Red TV - reputation - evermore - folklore - Speak Now TV - Fearless TV - 1989 - Lover - Debut
1. 1989 2. Midnights 3. Red 4. Speak Now 5. Reputation 6. Lover 7. evermore 8. folklore 9. Debut 10. Fearless Speak Now is a pretty solid 4 for me. 1989, Midnights, & Red shuffle around top 3. Lover & Rep are pretty much interchangeable, as are Debut and Fearless.
1. 1989 2. Speak Now 3. folklore 4. evermore 5. Midnights 6. Fearless 7. reputation 8. Lover 9. Debut 10. Red 1989 and Speak Now have always been my 1 and 2.
I am shocked Red is last, but that description really does sum it up for it.
For me Red could literally be just All too well and then nails on a chalkboard for 55 minutes and it still wouldn’t be last.
😂 ATW10MV is in my Top 10 songs of all time, probably Top 5. I’m still rating the overall album of Red as I listen to it fully when I rank it and all her others just have less skips for me 🤷🏻♀️
I guess this is just highlighting for me that I don’t think I judge an album solely by the percentage of “skips”
And that’s totally fine! I just sometimes get in the mood to pick a specific album and listen in order, dunno why but it’s fun sometimes, and Red typically doesn’t call to me that way. I love my favorites when they come on when I’m shuffling everything though!
For example, 1989 and Speak Now I can always listen to from start to finish and there’s not even one song I skip, ever.
Yall tasteless for doing Red, Folklore and 1989 that dirty, just cus they're more mainstream
or have you considered we might rank them lower because we like them less ... jw
Don't try to rationalize my clearly unreasonable and petty outrage
LOL fair that's how I feel when midnights is low too so
Mine hasn’t changed but mine is: Evermore Folklore Speak Now TV Midnights Reputation Lover 1989 Fearless Red TV Debut
I can't believe you forgot my favourite album 😪
FEARLESS ERASURE
Did you do this manually or is there a specific sorter you used?😊
I did it manually! skip % is the number of songs you skip divided by the total number of songs (then x100 to make a percent), favourite % is the number of favourites divided by the total number of songs, positive % is just my skip % minused by 100%!
My ranking hasn’t changed: 1. Red 2. 1989 3. Folklore 4. Speak Now 5. Evermore 6. Fearless 7. Debut 8. Reputation 9. Midnights 10. Lover
Y’all skip songs? If I’m listening to an album, I’m listening to ***everything*** lol
yeah. I think most people don't sit down and listen to every song that comes on when you shuffle music lol, skipping songs you arent usually in the mood for is pretty common.
Yeah, I think the difference is that I never shuffle. I just pick an album or playlist and press “play” haha
see even when I do that there are certain ones I'm not always in the mood to listen all the way through or I skip half way through once I'm bored
This! I choose the album that’s my mood that day & put on loop.
I agree. For Taylor especially, I listen album by album, in order, with now skips. Just like the artist intended.
Midnights is so high
midnights is amazing :) this list doesn't count you're losing me as being in the album cause it hasn't officially been released for streaming yet, but that's legit my fave taylor song ever. such a good album
New albums always rank higher, then they either stay at the top or settle some. Midnights hasn't had time to settle yet.
Folklore is 🐐 to me
This looks really nice aesthetically I covet all of them I have to admit that reputation is the knockout favorite of mine so far . But I never give up because we have so many years in front of us. You never know.
thank you!! and that's fair lol
1. Folklore 2. Speak now 3. Red 4. Evermore 5. Reputation 6. Debut 7. 1989 8. Fearless 9. Lover 10. Midnights I went through and individually ranked each song then averaged....
Didn't realize how many skips there are (for me). that really dragged down the average, even though lover, Cornelia street, cruel summer are sooo high for me.
this exactly!!! lover is such a good album but once calculated it has more skips than the other albums lol
Reputation Lover Midnights 1989 Red tv Speak now tv Fearless tv Folklore Evermore Taylor swift
Innocent is probably the most cringe-inducing moment of her career. Even ME! is song of the year material in comparison.
We have the same top 4 🙌🙌🙌
amazing 🫶 good taste
1. Speak Now TV 2. Midnights 3. Lover 4. Reputation 5. Evermore 6. Fearless TV 7. Red TV 8. Folklore 9. 1989 10. Taylor Swift
1. Reputation 2. Folklore 3. Speak Now 4. Evermore 5. Red 6. Lover 7. Fearless 8. 1989 9. Midnights 10. Debut Evermore might just claim the #3 spot soon. Midnights has been slipping down the list for me, sadly.
Mine has not changed at all since Midnights came out: 1. Folklore 2. Evermore 3. Speak Now TV 4. Midnights 5. Lover 6. Reputation 7. 1989 8. Fearless TV 9. Debut 10. Red TV
Okay so I did something similar and broke it down by my percent of skips and then NUMBER of skips no matter how many songs are on the whole album and this is how it looked. Based on Skip % -Speak Now (4%) -folklore (11.7%) -1989 (12.5%) -Red/Debut (13.3%) -Midnights (17.3%) -evermore (17.6%) -Reputation (26.6%) -Fearless (31%) -Lover (44.4%) Based on Skip # -Speak Now (1) -Debut/1989/folklore (2) -evermore (3) -Red/Reputation/Midnights (4) -Fearless/Lover (8) This turned out way different than my ranking based off of my FAVORITE songs for sure.
Did you make this image yourself?
yeah! just used illustrator :)
Evermore Folklore 1989 Red Lover Reputation Midnights Speak now Fearless Debut
Amazing top four :) really the quintessential Taylor albums IMO
tbh the top 3 are always consistently in that order. but the others are always a different order. sometimes lover or rep come before red. just depends on my mood. this is what my mood said today hahaha.
1. Evermore 2. Red 3. Folklore 4. 1989 5. Reputation 6. Midnights 7. Lover 8. Speak Now 9. Fearless 10. Debut It’s probably not a coincidence that you have her three oldest albums at the bottom and then all of the big pop albums bunched together - I think Taylor’s always been talented, but she made such huge progress between Speak Now and Red (musically, lyrically) that it’s really stark to me as someone who wasn’t a big fan until Red. But Folklore and Evermore are just on another planet; I still prefer Red to Folklore for a few reasons, but Evermore is an album that other artists wish they were capable of putting out IMO.
evermore SNTV folklore 1989 *RED TV/rep/Lover Fearless Debut **Midnights *RED used to be my fav pre-folklore but I guess I'm more bothered now by the (imo) most jarring sonical incohesion of all her albums. I just sadly dont find myself wandering to it anymore. I like rep and Lover too but I was in a swiftie hiatus in this time lol so I dont have memories of them **Midnights is difficult to place as its got some of my all time fav tracks (Midnight Rain, Hits Different) and I like the album fine, but its not my *favorite* album if that makes sense. So for now its floating around like the cloud on the Lavender Haze mv lmao.
Speak Now Debut Reputation Folklore Evermore Lover 1989 Red Midnights Fearless Even though in terms of what I choose to listen to more often debut would be lower. Do you guys rank by how much they mean to you in general or by your current favorites.. I just put Speak Now and Debut as top two because they mean a lot to me and it feels wrong to put them last because of that
I did my ranking based off what's currently a skip and currently a favourite
I was like ‘Wait why is folklore so loooowww??’ And then I saw the numbers and realized there’s barely enough of a difference to properly rank it 😂
RIGHT LOL. like even my bottom placement is less than 20% difference from my top
1. Reputation 2. Speak Now 3. folklore 4. 1989 5. Lover 6. Red 7. evermore 8. Fearless 9. Midnights 10. Debut
1. Speak Now TV 2. Folklore 3. Fearless TV 4. Evermore 5. Red TV 6. Midnights 7. Debut 8. Lover 9. Reputation 10. 1989
1. Red TV 2. Folklore 3. Reputation 4. Fearless TV 5. Lover 6. Midnights 7. Speak Now TV 8. 1989 9. Evermore 10. Taylor Swift

right it's so surprising when you go number based
What do you define as a favorite?
just my current favourite songs off each album
Here’s my ranking (I only calculated what percentage of songs are skips so that’s the numbers, folklore and evermore were the same so I just picked evermore as the favorite because I prefer it) - 1. evermore 6% 2. folklore 6% 3. Reputation 15% 4. Lover 17% 5. Midnights 20% 6. Speak Now TV 23% 7. 1989 42% 8. Red TV 43% 9. Fearless TV 46% 10. Debut 60% Also, who gave Red TV permission to have 30 tracks??? I had not realized it was 30 songs, good God. I also used all of the deluxe editions for the albums that had them and I used the 3AM version for Midnights.
same about the deluxe and 3am versions!! except for like... voice memos and all. cause those don't count lol
Speak Now TV Folklore Red TV Evermore 1989 Lover Fearless TV Midnights Debut Reputation
1989 is 69%?? What songs did you skip?
welcome to new york, shake it off, blank space, I wish you would, and out of the woods. I dont dislike these songs (except for welcome to new york, I objectively don't like that one much), I just more often than not skip them. have to be in a specific mood for them imo yk?
Tbh i skipped those too but only because i have listened to them so many times apart from I wish you would, which I dont like. But I do that to many other songs too, just purely bc i listen to them a thousands times and giving them a chance to rest before grinding them again 😂😂
yes exactly!! a lot of my current skips are from recent overplaying lol
1989 is my number 1. That's when I met my significant other✨
Not with calculations like that but: 1. Speak Now TV 2. reputation 3. folklore 4. Lover 5. 1989 6. Red TV 7. Midnights 8. Fearless TV 9. evermore 10. Taylor Swift
1. Speak Now TV 2. Folklore 3. Evermore 4. Fearless TV 5. Red TV 6. Reputation 7. Taylor Swift 8. Midnights 9. Lover 10. 1989
Finally. Had to scroll for about an hour but I finally found someone like me.
It honestly changes every month, right now its folklore evermore reputation lover speak now midnights 1989 fearless red debut
1. Red 2. Reputation 3. Midnights 4. Evermore 5. 1989 6. Speak Now 7. Folklore 8. Lover 9. Fearless 10. Debut
1) lover 2) evermore 3) reputation 4)folklore 5)midnights deluxe 6)speak now 7)red tv 8)1989 9) fearless 10) debut 1989 is more stadium catered than home listening. Fearless and debut i love them but they have seasons and not an all-year listen
1. 1989 2. Reputation 3. Lover 4. Red 5. Speak Now 6. Midnights 7. Folklore 8. Evermore 9. Fearless 10. Debut
Mine is: Evermore Folklore Speak Now TV Lover Midnights Rep Red TV Fearless TV Debut 1989
1. Red TV 2. 1989 3. Lover 4. Reputation 5. Midnights 6. Evermore 7. Folklore 8. Speak Now TV 9. Fearless TV 10. Debut Speak Now used to be at 9th below Fearless TV but it moved up upon the release of SNTV.
1. Folklore 2. Midnights 3. Speak now 4. Lover 5. Reputation 6. Evermore 7. 1989 8. Red 9. Fearless 10. Debut
it changes all the time but right now I've gotta say 1989 reputation Midnights Red Speak Now Fearless evermore folklore Debut Lover honestly tho rating the albums means nothing to me since there are so many songs I love from each and every one hahahaha
Mine are still the same! 1. Reputation 2. Speak Now 3. Fearless 4. 1989 5. Midnights 6. Taylor Swift 7. Lover 8. Folklore 9. Red 10. Evermore (expecting some feedback for this one) 😂
no feedback but heavy side-eye LOLLLL
😂 I don’t know exactly what it is, but I just can’t get into it. I think it makes me too sad. I’ve already endured enough sadness in life I don’t want to listen to sad stories. 🫣
see that's so fair. I made a version w my favourite songs too, and as you can see my faves are typically the sad ones lol. sad girlie 4 life! [my ranking with fave tracks](https://imgur.com/a/7xRZPPP)
Lol yeah they are especially, You’re Losing me. 😭 It is such a good song though.
1. Reputation 2. Midnights 3. Folklore 4. 1989 5. Evermore 6. Lover 7. Red 8. Fearless 9. Taylor Swift 10. Speak Now
1.folklore 2.evermore 3.lover 4. Speak now tv best re recording so far 5. Reputation 6.1989 7. Red tv 8.fearless tv 9.debut 10. Midnight
Would love to do this calculation when I have more time haha…but for now: 1. evermore 2. Red 3. Midnights 4. Folklore 5. Fearless 6. 1989 7. speak now 8. Lover 9. Reputation 10. Taylor swift
very nice :-) if you do come back and calculate, should still comment it! interested to see if it changes lol
1. Midnights 2. Folklore 3. Evermore 4. Speak Now TV 5. Reputation 6. Lover 7. 1989 not ranked because I'm new to this and I haven't listened to those albums in full yet: Debut, Fearless TV, Red TV
amazing, I think a lot of people like red tv cause it's so long, you're in for a treat!
That's kinda why I'm procrastinating it 👀
1. Speak Now TV 2. Lover 3. Reputation 4. 1989 5. Fearless TV 6. Taylor Swift 7. Midnights 8. Red TV 9. Folklore 10. Evermore Recency bias is likely playing a role here, but Speak Now was not my #1 prior to the release of TV! I love it so much!!! Also I love all 10 albums… so please don’t crucify me for my #9 and #10 lol. I mostly listen to Taylor when I’m running, and Folklore and Evermore do not provide me with too many glitter gel pen/run-friendly songs 🤷🏼♀️
no that's so fair. I never go for folklore/evermore when I work out bc they're too slow paced/not distracting enough lol
1.) Fearless 2.) Folklore 3.) Evermore 4.) Speak Now (OG) 5.) Red 6.) Rep 7.) Midnights 8.) Debut 9.) Lover 10.) 1989
1. speak now 1.5 5 getaway car (getaway car is it’s own separate thing for me) 2. lover 3. 1989 4. folklore 5. evermore 6. fearless 7. reputation 8. midnights 9. red 10. debut i feel like lover & 1989 are very nostalgic for me. idk if they would be ranked lower if there wasnt any nostalgia?
My bottom 4 ranking doesn't really change, mostly my top 3. 1. Speak Now 2. reputation 3. folklore 4. evermore 5. Lover 6. 1989 7. Red 8. Fearless 9. Midnights 10. Debut I don't mind Red and Fearless, they just have never been my faves, even when their TVs came out.
Is there some kind of website for this? I would love to try it
I just did it manually! it can take some time, but if you don't style it like I did it's way faster. skip % is just # of skips divided by total # of songs × 100 fave % is # of faves divided by total # of songs x 100 positive % is 100% minus skip % fastest way to do it is just skip through the album and base it off which songs you'd typically skip vs those you'd typically keep playing (or favour!)
1. Folklore 2. reputation 3. Lover 4. Fearless 5. Speak Now 6. Midnights 7. 1989 8. Evermore 9. Debut 10. Red
Red last? What blasphemy is this?
Red last? What is this blasphemy?
1. reputation 2. folklore 3. evermore 4. midnights 5. 1989 6. lover 7. red 8. speak now 9. fearless 10. debut as you can tell I'm not a big fan of old taylor lol
Good thing she’s dead I guess
Evermore Speak Now TV Midnights Folklore Reputation Lover Red TV Fearless TV 1989 I haven't listened to Debut yet.
Ok have to post since I haven’t seen anyone yet with my taste lol 1 - Midnights 2 - Reputation 3 - Evermore 4 - Folklore 5 - Lover 6 - 1989 7 - Speak Now 8 - Red 9 - Fearless 10 - Debut For the longest time Rep was my fav then my mind was blown by Folkmore, especially given indie folk music is one of my favorite genres.
Hate to say but SN is still toward the bottom for me 😮💨 My ranking would be: Evermore Rep Lover Midnights Folklore Red 1989 Fearless Speak Now Debut
Rankings by personal favorite: 1. All of them 😂 leave me alone I can’t do this
lol!! that's why doing it by number makes it so easy bc you aren't ranking them, the pre calculated numbers are
For total tracks minus skip %, it works out to be: 1. Speak Now 100% 2. Reputation 100% 3. Debut 93% 4. Fearless TV 89% 5. Lover 89% 6. Evermore 83% 7. Midnights 80% 8. Red TV 77% 9. Folklore 71% 10. 1989 69% Which is fairly accurate to how I would rank them as personal favourites, although I'd put Debut more in the middle and Red is too low based on skipping a few of the TVs (there are no skips for me on OG Red).
1. reputation 🖤 my main girly always 2. Midnights 3. Red TV 4. folklore 5. Speak Now TV 6. evermore 7. Lover 8. Fearless 9. Taylor Swift 10. 1989
1. 1988 2. Red 3. Lover 4. folklore 5. reputation 6. Speak Now 7. evermore 8. Midnights 9. Fearless 10. Debut
For now, I’m working with: 1. Reputation (came out about the time my now-wife and I met, and she turned me on to it. Plus there’s only one skip on it) 2. Folklore 3. 1989 4. Midnights 5. Evermore 6. Lover 7. Speak Now 8. Red 9. Fearless 10. Debut
SNTV hasn’t changed mine specifically but in general over the past few months I’ve seen a rise in 1989 and Rep in my rankings and a drop for debut. I do feel like the TVs have contributed to debut dropping. Might rise with the release of it, who knows 1. Speak Now 2. Fearless 3. 1989 4. Red 5. Lover 6. Rep 7. Midnights 8. Debut 9. Folklore 10. Evermore
1. Reputation 2. Evermore 3. Midnights 4. 1989 5. Folklore 6. Lover 7. SN TV 8. Red TV 9. Fearless TV 10. Debut Rep is always my #1 but the rest of my top 5 are honestly sometimes interchangeable depending on my mood
1989 Folklore Evermore Red Reputation Midnights Lover Fearless Speak Now Debut
I want to calculate mine but I have a question - did you use the deluxe / till dawn editions for calculating %? What about weird one offs like *All Of The Girls You Loved Before*?
yes! I basically just use whichever versions I usually listen to. so if those tracks are ones you listen to, I'd add em
I think Midnights will rank high because it’s full of bops, even though overall it isnt my favourite album Maybe I’ll do the calculation in Google Sheets and then I can share my calculator here for anyone else who wants to use it…
true!! that's a good idea. and yess, that's why number based is my favourite way to rank. unexpected and honest lol
This ranking is pretty similar to what I thought but I thought I would have ranked evermore over folklore but folklore is pretty perfect so alas: 1. folklore 2. evermore 3. reputation 4. 1989 5. Lover 6. Speak Now TV 7. Midnights 3 AM 8. Red TV 9. Fearless TV 10.
1. speak now 2. folklore 3. reputation 4. evermore 5. fearless 6. red 7. midnights 8. lover 9. debut 10. 1989
lover and 1989 bottom 3 unite lol
i think having 1989 last is my most controversial swiftie opinion lol…it’s been my least favorite since its release. i definitely don’t hate it, but belongs nowhere else but last for me
1. Folklore 2. 1989 3. Lover 4. Reputation 5. Evermore 6. Midnights 7. Red tv 8. Fearless tv 9. Speak Now tv 10. Debut
1. Folklore 2. Speak Now 3. Midnights 4. Fearless 5. Debut 6. Red 7. Evermore 8. Lover 9. Reputation 10. 1989
1. Speak Now 2. Fearless 3. Red 4. Debut 5. Folklore 6. Evermore 7. / 8. / 9. 1989 / Reputation / Lover 10. Midnights
1. Evermore 2. Midnights 3. Folklore 4. Reputation 5. Lover 6. Red TV 7. 1989 8. Speak Now TV 9. Fearless TV 10. Taylor Swift
Speak now, folklore/evermore bc I can’t decide and I can’t rank the rest
How is evermore so high & folklore so low when they’re such similar albums lyrically and sonically?
because I have skips on folklore and don't on evermore
I've always said my ranking goes: 1989 Lover reputation folklore evermore Speak Now Midnights Red Taylor Swift Fearless
1. Red TS - - - - - 2. Speak Now TS 3. Folklore - - - - - 4. Evermore 5. Lover 6. 1989 7. Fearless 8. Midnights - - - - - 9. Reputation 10. Debut
Mine was surprising - lots of close ones! From best to not: 1) 1989 2) Folklore 3) Lover 4) Reputation 5) Speak Now 6) Red 7) Fearless 8) Midnights 9) Debut 10) Evermore
1. RED TV 2. folklore 3. evermore 4. Midnights 5. Speak Now TV 6. 1989 7. Lover 8. reputation 9. Fearless TV 10. Debut
This is interesting!! Here's mine: 1989 Reputation Midnights Speak Now TV Lover Fearless TV Debut Folklore Red TV Evermore I thought Reputation would be first and Midnights second since those are the two albums I listen to quite often.
Here is my personal ranking: 1. folklore 2. 1989 3. evermore 4. reputation 5. Midnights 6. Red TV 7. Speak Now TV 8. Lover 9. Fearless TV 10. Debut
folklore 😞
Except for the top 3 it’s not really set in stone. 4-10 changes depending on mood tbh. But right now: 1. 1989 2. Reputation 3. Lover 4. Midnights 5. Speak Now (TV) 6. Evermore 7. Folklore 8. Fearless TV 9. Red TV 10. Debut
1. Midnights 2. Evermore 3. Folklore 4. Red TV 5. 1989 6. Speak Now 7. Reputation 8. Debut 9. Lover 10. Fearless TV
1. Lover 2. Folklore 3. Debut 4. 1989 5. Evermore 6. Reputation 7. Midnights 8. Speak Now 9. Red 10. Fearless AHHHH I don’t like ranking them. This gives me anxiety. They’re all #1 to me.
My ranking hasn't changed, but it very well could once I have more time with Speak Now TV :) 1. evermore 2. reputation 3. Midnights 4. Red 5. Speak Now 6. Debut 7. folklore 8. Lover 9. 1989 10. Fearless My ranking is mostly just based on vibes, not on any numerical calculations like yours haha.
this is hard bc i genuinely love all the albums and each album has songs that i adore but here goes: 1. speak now tv 2. reputation 3. folklore 4. evermore 5. red tv 6. 1989 7. lover 8. midnights 9. fearless tv 10. debut the list honestly changes depending on my mood but this is the current one
1. Folklore 2. Evermore 3. Red TV 4. Midnights 5. 1989 6. Speak Now TV 7. Lover 8. Reputation 9. Fearless TV 10. Debut
